I have thrashed the SVOMW album since it first came out.

To me this album is easily the best Nargaroth release to date.

Song writing is superb especially on the three "epic" songs. amazing atmosphere and feeling

Looking forward to seeing what he comes out with next: you just never know what it will be.

This is not DSBM this is Melancholyc or Nostalgic BM. For me DSBM is a false interpreted for a Black Metal! DSBM is for the weak souls.

Just look at Nargaroth cant say how free i feel or the emotions i get when i listen to this. If you dont know the meaning of DSBM then you dont like it, (Many people may disagree) I dont mean this is DSBM i just say its awesome Hail brother lm/

This albums proves that Kanwulf can not only make amazing "hateful and misanthropic black metal" as he calls it, as well as a perfect interpretation of each season as seen in Jahrezeiten, but also very powerful, deep and touching DSBM. He makes music for every time of the year and for every mood. He is truly a genious.

@mahamrityumjay I'm not labelling Nargaroth's music as DSBM. I'm trying to say that with this song he's proving that he can write excelent music apart from the regular black metal. Ok, i will not label this album as DSBM but you can clearly recognize the DSBM elements in this song, even if you don't want to see it. Anyways, i think this album is great regardless of the genre.

To me, Nargaroth's best album is Herbstleyd, but this album has two awesome songs: A Whisper underneath the Bark of old Trees and this one. Probably the most epic songs of all nargaroth's period along with the song "sommer". I said epic? god damn i'd say SUPERB!!
