Cool songs, but actually bittersweet. Some sadness in the air. He was, in fact, in a very good stage of his life, but of course, still had doubts. My opinion.

So "Memories" sounds like "Grow Old Along With Me" and "Child of Nature" which later the tune was used for "Jealous Guy" --or is it just me?

I am so excited to stumble across these tapes... I thought myself to be quite the Lennon expert but you put me to shame! The second song in this clip... what's the title? Is there one ever mentioned? It doesn't sound like anything I've heard before from lennon... released or non.

Where did he write "Woman" and "Starting Over"? I couldn`t find them on these tapes.

He wrote both in Bermuda, but (Just Like) Starting Over has its origins in other songs such as Don't Be Crazy, My Life, and other songs.

Do you have any similar tapes on Paul McCartney or the Beatles??? I eat everything i come over when it comes to John and Paul! I just love them! I saw Paul in concert in 2004, and it was fantastic!

John actually said, "This one's gonna be for Ringo" on an overdub of Nobody Told Me recorded in July 1980. That one is forthcoming.
