  • I constantly listened to Funk International in hopes of finding this song on air. I really enjoyed going around the city with this sound as background(:

  • So policeman go slap your face. You no go talk. Army man go whip your yansh. You go dey look like donkey. LMFAO

  • i am shoked by the comments. The music, his voice always sounds so serious, so urgent, so crucial. Nothing like an escapist 'high" or commercialized tune or other 'cafetaria music". Have you all gone mad????

  • @demon001 UP!!!

  • Respect to Trevor Shakes.

  • ♥ !!!

  • Robert Nesta Marley O.M. emulated Fela in 'Could You Be Loved' in style.

I humbly value and hugely appreciate the improv musical style that I learned from listening and playing to Fela's 'Black President' release (when I was developing my own musical awareness many years ago).

Fela's blood carries on in strength. And his musical brilliance lives on in all of us who have had the extraordinary luck of absorbing his interestingly adept take on life.

    Still learning...I still say 'WOW!'

  • DIS MAN AWESOME!!

  • I first heard Fela in college, through meeting students from Lagos. And he is a Legend in America Too. He's like our James Brown.

  • Marley is a legend, but Fela should be known worldwide just by his first name!!

  • Dem regular trademarks all over beloved Mama Africa, the Americas, the Caribean, Haiti ( oh Haiti!), europe = everywhere Africans are! Too many of dem trademarks. Too much dem taking our babies. Lets stop running/scattering and stand firm. Enough sorrow, tears, blood coming from Africans.

  • @mpfw You like a song, yet you want to reduce the exposure it gets. What a selfish, hipster attitude you have.
