there are two field, the smaller one still works. In the larger one, the mobs will evade and run back, however if you pull 4-5 at a time, it'll still work-sometimes. kinda defeats the purpose of AOE. better to grind in Duskwood until 35-36 and then to Dustwallow marsh (sp?)

No longer available :(. Place has been nerfed by Blizz. Mobs are breaking frost nova and going back to their spots. I felt like i'm being robbed by Blizz. It's not right because you don't really know what to expect in similar places. Whatever next Blizz? :/

For some reason you can't aggro the whole of the left farm. even if you do a very very easy pull of say 5 mobs. as soon as you frost nova and blink away they run back to where they started. i've tried everything and can't pull the 2nd farm. also what do you do while you wait for the respawn and keep good exp flowing.

i have never done this but im guessing you should probably arcane explosion once or twice so atleast you have hurt them and maybe they wont run away.

it is true that ice block thing is a waste of time and mana but im not going to be rude, this vid really helped me i made a mage last week and when i got him to 20 i went to hillsbrad-i'm horde srry to say- but andy way i got to lv. 30 in only 3 days later. woot for the new patch lv. 30 mounts!

Iceblock is not a waste of time and mana- one, it costs next to no mana, and two, it makes the mobs for a nice and orderly cluster around you.

(Because when AoEing, you need order or you get gangbanged.)

thats the worst AOE I have ever seen. Dont use Ice Block! Thats just a waste of time. It goes alot faster if you just, Ice Barrier, mount, aggro, get them together, frost nova, blink, Blizzard, Blizzard, Cone of Cold, if needed do frost nova again because the cooldown should have run out by then, and just Blizzard them again. Goes alot faster and you dont have to use Ice Block!

do u know how much mana that would take? just use frost nova then blink then blizard that'll slow them blizzard again and if they arent dead cone of cold and if they still arent dead use anotehr AoE like arcane blast that uses only like 1000 to 1,500 mana and at that lv. u should have at least 2,500 to 3,000 mana not much wat u would have done would take like too much time and like 2,500 mana

Go'Shek farm at lvl 33+ And if you are trying to do it as fire at that low lvl ofcourse you are going to be close to death all times :3

And yes it's duskwood for you i believe atleast from lvl 28. Otherwise it's wetlands

you cant to it as a frost mage because the ice block is in frost talent tree and so is blizzard slowing effect

from that you gained 2 bars of XP, so you gotta do that like 12-20 times more in order for you to level?

Well I guess if he gained 2 bars of XP doing that, and it actually takes only about 3-5min per run.... 2 bars = 10%.

So 10 runs to level, and we're talking lvl 30+ here. That means 10 runs = 30min, which is PRETTY damn fast for leveling at lvl 30+...

In my experience, I'm not the best, but each level between 30-40 is about 1hr to 1hr30min for me... And that's with my hunter, known to be an easy to level class.

I got lvl 33 mage Gnome ftw and hes kicking some ass at this place with super XP and i could Aoe here sense lvl 32 idk why but it worked out pretty well except for the fact that the lvl 35s resisted a lot of my FN so i had 2 run but its a realy good place 2 aoe

some enchant spells on my pants to increase stamina and spell damage and i'm gone ^^

got now 1280 HP and almost 3k mana

sometimes it fails but not all pulls are perfect

that might be because ur criting with ur blizzard. ussaly when u crit and there frost novaed. that frost nova breaks. happaens alot and is normal thing just have to learn to work around it

If you spec'd in Frostbite, Unlearn these points, sometimes when you use Frost Nova and Frostbite Procs, It will overwrite Frost Nova, Meaning as soon as you cast blizzard they are unrooted, However if you have not spec'd frostbite, then it is new to me *_*

You need 3 in Improved Blizzard, 2 in Frostbite for ultimate Blizzard farming... (im a 23 mage farmed 20-23 in less then an hour with blizzard =) )

Hey by all means if you can pull off the murloc isle without a mount go for it. I could too but it just wasn't nearly as efficient as this place, once you get your mount though AoE grinding because much easier and funner.

This vid is great, I have a lvl 31 mage on Velen im planning on lvling after my hunter and this is exactly the type of thing I need. Just a question though, your Blizzard looks like there are two of it shooting down at the same time? Mine is nowhere near as big as that one.

Use the blizzard on one person and you will notice a darker blue bolt coming down, i guess its just indicating that you are hitting that humanoid or whatever your fighting. In this hes fighting more than one so its gonna show those extra bolts coming down indicating that you are hitting those targets. Again im not sure if the extra darker blue bolt is there for that reason but thats how i look at it.

For Blizzard their is two animations built into it, one is a standard ice flow and the second is a shard for every monster thats why their was so many because of the amounts of mobs.

Actually I did, just be careful of mana shield, it will be harder but if you carry an HP pot you should do fine, I didn't have a problem at level 33 and I just had all Green's. Make sure you have gear that gives a good amount of plus Stamina and Intellect, get what you need, if you run out of mana too often look for intellect, etc.
