  • Nothing you do is ever boring! :-) I find this quite hypnotic and calming. :-) X

  • @ruth7784 Yes, I like this one too.

  • Not at all boring, I always pick up some tips from your strumming and styles. Nice.

  • @IdahoLeLe Thanks so much.

  • Nice style! I lived in Windsor long ago. During the MoTown days. Detroit has some gorgeous old buildings that need work.

  • @waterdog226 More gorgeous buildings in bad condition than almost anywhere, Lynda.

  • @waterdog226 Fortunately, Detroit can't afford to renovate them (badly).

  • this just draws you in,,love it:} could almost see the ghosts of times past walking around the farewell building,{in my mind anyway}

  • @Wrongemboyo3 Thanks for your poetic comments.

  • Like how you get the Kentucky sound that way Ken! I was even considering using a plectrum to start flatpicking, but feel this would suit the ethos of the Uke more. Seem to have an aversion to using a plec on the uke and this has solved my dilemna. As for the choice of uke...It's not the most expensive uke I own but def my favourite

  • @freackykit Check on UU. I give clearer instructions on how to do it.

  • @KenMiddletonUkulele Just been over then...Thanks for the insight Ken

  • @freackykit My pleasure.

  • excellent and... beautiful uke. Ohana?

  • @ukulelepe Yes, I use this one a lot, but mainly at festivals. It is a TK-75CG. Very light and loud with beautiful solid figured maple.

  • I don't find it boring, but very nice ;)

    Pascal

  • @kaloo051 Thanks for watching.

  • Fun to watch and hear. As far as Detroit goes... the golden age is over and there and from what I understand there are a lot of previously beautiful buildings caving in.

  • @UkesterBrown Absolutely, UB. I was speaking with Gerald about them. A lot of them remain because of the cost of demolition. Unfortunately it is expensive to put them right too.

  • GCEA tuning Ken????

  • @JChoneybell gCEA tuning (high G). It is what I always use, JC.

  • This reminds me of my grandmother's clawhammer sounding strum she used on the guitar. Very pleasant and thanks for the history on the Detroit building.

  • @Sistersidful Yes, exactly right. I used to do this technique on the guitar, but using a plectrum.

  • I can't decide what this makes me think of...but I like it!

  • @ctrymaus Thanks for watching, J.

  • excellent ken , i would like to hear that on a reso

  • @krabberscovers I don't usually play resos, K. Don't like them very much.

  • I was playing along on my uke sliding up the neck from B to D like a train whistle or something. Kind of fun. Nice work, Ken.

  • @songblurred Thanks for joining in.

  • Not boring at all, in fact, quite pleasant to my ear. Thanks for posting.

  • @TheWildlifeStudio Thanks.
