We recommend have a data plan or internet bundle from your network or service provider when using Instant Chat or Internet Browsing from your mobile as this will save you money in the long run.

It does cost if you don't have one but you'll need to check the charges with your service provider. It uses the internet to send your message and keep checking for new messages.

You will need to speak with Vodafone customer services to activate your internet service - you may be able to get a cheap data plan.

Using the internet is not free yet - hopefully in the future ;)

Usually the IM's use the internet connection to use instant messaging. We haven't come across a text platform for this yet. Any suggestions anybody?

The Viewty doesn't have GPS. It has 3G capabilities so if you are using the Google Maps application it can give you an approximate location but not as precise as the GPS functionality.

No this handset doesn't support MicroSD HC memory cards. Anything above 2GB on a MicroSD is in HC format which this handset doesn't support.

We tried one and the handset picked up the first 2GB only and the handset started to slow. Plus the handset will experience errors when using a MP3 track as your ringing or message tone.

Great Video as all of your others are =D You really do put in a lot of effort and it is always very easy to understand. 5 Stars. Getting this phone in a week or two and I cannot wait :) Can you change the wallpaper at the beginning because all Viewty vids seem to have no Secondary wallpapers. Also what different themes are preloaded into the phone? Great Video.

You can change your wallpaper to what ever you like including images, photos and flash animations.

The Viewty comes with a few pre-installed themes including Black, Silver & Fish. There is a hack out there showing you step by step how to add more, however we recommend following this with care as you can void your warranty should anything go wrong.

Oh that sounds good :) Im torn between this and the LG Cookie but TBH this seems to be far superior :P Im pretty sure its free to g on your email and I dont think you need to be close to wi-fi as it seems that it is 3.5G (HSDPA) and I think this is just a general network but thats just me thinking lol :P Im pretty sure it is free though.
