  • I have verion 1.2...apperantly it has a level editor, but I don't see it when I use Mirage OS. do I need to have ION in order to make my own levels?

  • Why did you film this upside down? :P

  • Know what's the bottom and top of your camera...

  • hey i just got the ti-83 plus and the cord that came with it has the same thing on both ends. it is both the parts that connects to the calculator. Is this what was supposed to come with it? and how would i be able to connect tit to the computer?

  • That cable is for connecting two calculators to each other. To connect your calculator to a computer you need to buy a special cable from TI.

  • Ctrl + Alt + Down arrow in Firefox.

  • This is what we call a fail, mostly due to the fact that this person doesn't know how to justify the video to UPRIGHT so that the asshole can use the calculator AND record it without having to be awkwardly positioned, or whathaveyou. Also, is that really ALL the levels? That's not that impressive.

  • This only covers the default level pack. As of yet, there's 60 packs in circulation, and 1 to 40 levels per pack depending on where they came from.

As for the upside-down thing, I dunno. Maybe the author..."flipped" over the fun factor. :)

  • there are alot of levels there are 8 packs and like 10 levels per pack how ever this guy has the shitty version v 1.2 instead of 2.0

  • This video would be good on april fools day, when youtube was upside down!! Wtf, why would you record upside down?

  • really nice, upside down...

  • Sound for recording this upside down???

  • I envy you i NEED this for math class or ill die.

  • I don't think you actually NEED a TI for math class.

On second thought, maybe you do. :))

  • yea its a requirement for highschool

  • its not hard to get...

  • 1st of all, fuck u, and second, how the hell did u get mario on ur calculator, i have the TI-83 silver edition.

  • it was just a joke. if you like that kinda stuff, good for you. idc

  • yeah, whats wrong with being a nerd?

  • i gots another version..

i guess theres a lot of them..

mine goes up till lev. 8

  • does this work with TI-81

  • i also have the same calc with mario in it. then i heard sumtin about this super mario editor. Its prettie interesting i gatta say: making your own levels and then playing them and stuff. Have u tried it this mario editor? its a great downtime sorta thing i guess during math or chemistry lol :}

  • lol, i have long gone to writing and creating my own calculators, like a c library that did multiple thousand digit addition and subtraction calculations in under a second, or when i get really bored, i run bc to calculate pi to some ridiculous place, or create a microcontroller-based contraption and code it to do something ridiculous. Also i have gone to an overclocked TI 89 Titanium edition, might post another mario vid on that... but i see your point, no, i havent tried it yet...

  • how do u download mirage os onto your calculator there is always an error!

  • how do u jump wit mario

  • 2nd if i'm not mistaken

  • i have one of those and i dont but can cheat on tests

  • funny how people tell to buy a DS/PSP instead of calculator. Like if teachers were even gonna let them bring these inside classes...

  • Thank you, my point exactly... this was one of a few ways to bring the level of math class boredom down :)

  • it's upside down....

  • clever, how did you find out?

  • how do i get thes games on my calculator i have ti-83.

    pleeeeeeease help?!

  • there is a video posted by hmhross on how to do this

  • how the hell do you do that, is it built in or do you spend 6 months putting in equations!?!?!

  • haha no hes actually playing it, you have to download a buch a shit to your calculater online though

  • as Jdawg said, no, it's a game... i think there is a vid from hmhross with the howto, if you are interested, and can't figure out how to do it yourself...

  • next time, make the video not upside down. you fail

  • dont really care, next vid will be right side up though, and will include bikes and stuff ;)

  • omg A gameboy!!! wtf? compare it with...

  • Is this the one with the level editor?

  • there were a few levels made for it, so if my memory serves me correctly, i would think so

  • I think this software only allows me to use hemispherical coordinate system.... what would it be in that?

I will, i will have a remake in a bit, gotta shoot an anti howto for stoppies and yeah, i'll remake this one as well...

  • MirageOS sweet.

update the vid by rotating it 180 degrees or pi radians.

  • I'm stuck on the "Mario X" level towards the end (like level seven or eight) where there's just a porthole cut in half by that floating block thingy that just falls when you stand on it. HOW DO YOU PASS THAT LEVEL!?!

  • for some reason i cant get ion on my calculaton

  • Okay, here's an easier way to do it:

    1. Flip your computer monitor upside-down.

    2. Slap yourself in the face, and tell yourself, "what the hell?! I can just get a Game Boy/emulator for this game!"

    3. Play the game on an emulator/Game Boy

  • Lol, why would you do that to waste more money if you haven't already wasted a good hundred bucks on a graphing calculator? I'd want to get the best out of what I paid for.

  • sister's calculator, i grabbed it for 2 days to shoot the vid and gave it back, graphing calculators no longer suffice my needs for computational precision... they just can't calculate pi to 30000 places quickly enough, it takes a couple of hours on my system, depending on which algorithm i use...

  • i feel dumb, it took me about 1 minute to realize its upside down

  • where do i connect the calculators ord to my computer?

  • how do u download it on a ti-83+ i have the usb cord and everything

  • yes, the ti connect cord that comes with the calculator....

and its my sisters calc, i have an 89

  • Does anyone know how to beat level 8 on Mario X?

  • does this go on a TI-30Xa calculator?cause i would like mario portable with me

  • As far as i can tell, no, it is not available on any 30 model.

  • HOW THE HECK WOULD YOU PUT IT ON A TI 30xa? it has no ram, an limited 1 line lcd screen and no prgraming capabilities?

    Programing isn't magic

  • im no nerd at stuff like this so dont blame me

  • Madman please rationalize... I mean Ti-30X? your funny

  • wat?

  • this is a nice mario can u send me the link of this game

  • Oh, i forgot last time, how to get this on your calculator:

you will need the TI connect software that comes with your calc or can be downloaded from the manufacturer website

you will also need MirageOS (an application running environment) and the application itself, both are available from ticalc dot org (hint: go to the archives section)

It's not a rom with an emulator, it's an app written in Z80 assembly, hence the framerate...

  • When I tried to do it, MirageOS is all crooked. What is wrong?

  • when you try to do what, mirage os is all crooked?

  • I just installed MirageOS, and it is crooked on my TI 83+

  • yours is bugged (calc memory bug?)

  • I don't play games on my calculator during class, I just play during downtime.

  • go buy a handheld gaming system; if you can afford a TI 83 or better you can afford a better gaming system than the TI 83.

  • or you can buy a Nintendo DS and download the TI83 emulator! You'll play a lot of games, for sure.

  • but how much fun would that be? It's like installing Cygwin on windows to play a text-based linux game...

  • Wow, ur a tool.

  • This has a really nice framerate. It surprises me!

  • Gonna attempt to aswer them all :)

Yes, i know the video is upside down, its also saturday morning, the beeping you hear was the washing machine going off, i really didn't have time nor will to make this video much better, besides, its made with a CVS camera, so it was more of a playing with one of those, downloading and converting the video and all that experience then the actual game footage... quick and simple

  • You DO realize that the video was upside down, right? You could've rotated (not flipped) the video 180 degrees before posting lol. Really cool, though. Care to show me where you got this?

  • how to put????????????

  • looks fucking nice

  • Ah, memories. Reminds me of my freshman year in high school when I'd rush through Super Mario on my calculator just like this. Then everyone learned how to make levels and it all became some sort of phenomenon... :P

  • hey. i just got this calc. how do u put this on here? or if its already on there how do i get to it?

  • can u plz tell me how to get games on calculator i have a TI-84+

  • wtf gringos got nothing to do

  • Actually, this comes from many, many boring math classes in High School and nothing to do but a calculator and super mario..... This took about an hour of practice on my sister's TI83 Plus and 3-4 takes before i shot the vid, I really do have better things to do now days. But, no cuts, no cheats, and its not the fastest time i've done i had it in under 2min on a bet in HS before...
