the same thing happened to me! but different.. first, i put the cuccos in the wall, then stuff started looking weird. it looked crappy in places.

Here. You go atop the casyle town store with the cucco. then jump to right lion statue. jump to the other statue. jump to house.

Use the song of birds. 1 cucco is sitting on a top of a roof. He will come to you. You can use the cucco to fly to the chest.
