  • As a fellow trucker, its not all cars fault. I have seen many drivers txt and drive, speed, tail gate. Accidents are asham but mostly preventable

  • Thank You for this video. I greatly appreciate it, as a driver myself, and the son of a driver, it emans so much to me. May our brothers that may have lost their lives in this accidents may they rest in peace, till we all reach the big truck stop in the sky.

  • Thank you so much for this video. With tears rolling down my face, I said a prayer for all those who have lost their lives in big rigs. I too drive a big rig. Too all truckers and non truckers alike, may the good Lord ride with you each and every day.

  • spent alot of time driving for a living. god bless all the truckers.

  • Thank you so much for this video, as I almost died two years ago avoiding a car that cut in front of me. I could have hit them or hit the guardrail, I picked the guardrail, and now I'm disabled, please, please be careful out there everyone!

  • trucking is in my blood so this song really hits home, so all you gearjammers be safe & all you 4 wheelers STAY OUT THEIR WAY!!!!

  • please give us room to drive, we cant stop or turn these big rigs on a dim at all, and sometimes can't see u. If u can't see me, I can't see u !!

  • I am married to a truck drive and my dad is a truck driver as well and I believe there should be one question put on a drivers test before any young teenager gets his/her licence. What is the total weight a car/truck can take before it's crushed the size of a coke can? Answer: 80,000 lbs. It takes a professional car crusher 80,000 lbs to crush a car to the size of a coke can cause most 18 wheeler's are legal at 85,000 lbs.

  • me my self being a trucker we have counted the cost and we all pray in our own little way that we keep everyone safe and that we make it home

  • That video breaks my heart! I have seen my share of truck wrecks in the past decade and they always break my heart!

  • Posted on Fb. Very hard to watch.

  • After 35 years of driving these Trucks, If I had just one Truck drivers Prayer, This is what it would say. Dear God If I should wreck this Truck Take my life but Lord don't let me hurt anyone else....Amen.

  • Just posted it on Facebook. If you got an acct. You should do the same.

  • I am an otr driver and can't help but get tore up about this... great video

  • Over 70% of wrecks invoicing semi and passenger vehicle are caused by the passenger vehicle. So many don't seem to understand that a semi can't stop on a dime when they are empty let alone carrying a full load! These drivers, including my husband, are putting their lives on the line daily so that you can purchase groceries and merchandise. If you bought it a trucker brought it! We all need to be more courteous on the road, semis and passenger vehicles alike.

  • If you bout it, a trucker brought it. RESPECT THOSE OUT ON THE ROAD AND GIVE US A FEW EXTRA FEET. Thanks for making this video.

  • All trucker should add this to thier favorites , and watch it often.... I did... in the long run maybe it will make us a little more aware and a little less complaicent. maybe even so much you may react in time and not be in the next video of absolute carnage have a safe trip drivers and get back safe to your families, great video, sad but a great reminder of how 80,000 pounds wrecks other vehicles....and lives

  • i have been a trucker all my life THANK YOU!!!!

  • this brought a tear to my eye i grew up in the industry both parents have drivin many years and i remember hearing and seeing about many of these accidents on the news. waiting for the phone the to ring praying it wasnt my parents i thank god every day it wasn't... i now to am a class 1 driver and pry my family gets that call from ME every night my prayers are with these lost drivers and theyre families AMEN

  • great job on the vid. never forget the sacrifce truckers make to feed their families. its still christmas and many of these men are out on the road and missed christmas with their wife and kids. on that note, dont forget about the truckers little brother out in wreckers and flatbeds. move over and slow down, save a live. and if ya need an example of how to do it, watch a trucker. thanks to all you rig drivers that move over when im liftin a car.

  • this was very hard for me to watch as my father two of my uncles and my granddad are al truck drivers.....the road is a scary place to be among cars that dont care or even know how close they come to dying when they cut you off...ive seen some scary ones out there in my 17 years of riding with my dad..please be safe everyone out there .god bless all you truck drivers out there..our hearts are with you

  • I remember the crash in Weber Falls Oklahoma on I-40. It is a sad thing to see. Also my husband and I have recently visited Groom Tx. That is an amazing site. God Bless you truckers.. Billie Roys Tye, Tx..

  • Thanks for sharing this. My father was killed in a tractor trailer crash in December 2007. The crash at 2:26 is eerily similar to my dad's accident. You did a good job on this video.

  • My husband is an OTR trucker and I pray he has a safe trip each and every day.. This video is sad and I pray for all the families of drivers out there risking their lives each day that have come into a situation such as this one.. May you all be safe on the road and the angels watch over you all

  • thanks for this lovely song im a trucker and my heart goes out to all the loved ones left behind im probably still one of the lucky truckers still here.

  • It's the truth, I've driven trucks for almost 20 year and all the close calls I've had have been because of 4 wheelers (automobiles) that weren't paying attention or don't understand the limitations of a truck. We're taught when we start driving to watch out for trains, I think they should be teaching a little more about the limitations of a big rig and to give us some room.

  • REMEMBER THE ROAD IS OUR OFFICE! SO BE COURTEOUS AND GIVE US SOME ROOM AND WE'LL BE COURTEOUS TO YOU! YOU WOULDN'T WANT ME TO COME INTO YOUR OFFICE, SIT IN YOUR CHAIR, PUT MY MUDDY FEET UP ON YOUR DESK, AND ACT LIKE A TOLTAL ASS, NOW WOULD YOU! I KNOW A LOT OF TRUCKERS THAT WOULD BE HAPPY TO OBLIGE.

  • As an alternate choice of the soundtrack: 18 Wheeler by Alabama or perhaps C.W.McCall - Old 30

  • They should play this video in every driver,s education class in America as a requirement before teens ever get their licsense !! God bless us all!! I've been a driver for 25 years and alot of the wrecks I've seen out here couldve been avoided had the four-wheeler been paying attention, not all of them but alot of them!!

  • My husband is a trucker. Please remember they can't stop on a dime, and to be careful. They want to go home and we want them to come home.

  • at 3:06 i remember that crash, woodlands driver, it was very sad he was still alive but died at the scene of the crash and the people trying to get him out were trying their best but he passed away, r.i.p woodlands driver..,your missed everyday bro...just like the rest of the fallen truckers.

  • My dad drove for 23 years and fornutaly hes still here with us. Ive spent my childhood in the truck by his side and ive seen what happens out there.

All you 4 wheelers out there Please be respectful and careful around all the drivers out on the road. Their rigs dont manuever like your little car or truck.

  • I'm a truck driver this is out standing

  • it saddens me to know that roughly 95% of these fatal accidents were caused by people who should not have had a license in the first place. I beleive its time for a change, listen up people, share the road or G.T.F.O. Slow down, it will be there when you arrive, i promise. I work road construction so i know how dangerous it can be out there. GREAT VIDEO!

  • haha

    nice phothos

  • @androgaus whats so funny and nice about them

  • A lot of people don't like and/or scared of the truckers, (wife scared as hell driving next to a truck) you all have to keep in mind that the truck might be carrying the meat you are going to eat the next day, or the water that you grab out of your frig. with out truckers you wouldn't have a Wawa or a super market to go to. if we all had respect for each other the families might not get that call telling them a loved one has passed away..

  • Everone needs to show respect for each other on the road. Passenger vehicles must understand how long it can take for an 18-wheeler to yield to you. Truckers, please be aware of those who have no respect for anyone on the road and who are ignorant regarding semi-truck operations. Other drivers - calm down on the road - there is noting so important that you can't drive safely with regard to others. No one needs to lose their life........jsjohnson

  • I have been a driver for 20 years 2.5 million miles under me and i have seen a lot when you hear your fellow driver burn to death and you watch this song is very powerful but i do know he is up there watchin over me rip chas i think of you all the time brother so with that brothers and sisters be safe out there

  • nice vid!

  • strong very strong long hours low pay never a thank you good men and women who feed our great country with every thing needed to survive god bless the usa god bless the militery god bless the truck driver

  • This video made the heart feel heavy just now. Thank God for keeping me and all around me safe on the roads. Many close calls where I think Jesus took the wheel and regardless of the skills level, luck is a huge factor when it comes down to avoiding an accident. God Bless those who've given their lives in the line of duty.

  • My dad and my husband are both truckers. Please slow down and be safe out there. I want my family safe and whole at the end of the day.... as well as all your families. God Bless...

  • Nice video you have made, I only wish all were here to see it. As for myself I don't care to be a fatality on the road, I just want to die peaceful in bed under a lot lizzard named.... Well you cares what her name is. But anyhow ya'll keep on truckin. Tin can driver on the side... I'm out.

  • my dad was going downhill loaded and this bitch pulled out in front of him and he didn't even have time to say oh shit before he hit her and blacked out woke up set the brakes fell out of the truck got tangled and got tangled in a wire fence then the piece of shit paremedics went right past him and helped the bitch he spent 4 days in the hospital for all broken ribs bruised hip, lungs, heart, liver, he has diabetes now he also had a concusion

  • I am a driver of 4 yrs and yes some accidents are the drivers faults. But that is only bc they are careless! There are good drivers out there that do care and do run legal My family and friends thank u! Those that don't are the ones that will have to live with the guilt! Guilt will hurt far more for a driver that was careless than one that was being careful! Thank you for this video, not a dry eye here either! May God Bless and keep the shiny side up and between the ditches!

  • It is too bad that some viewers must get so technical & offensive. I work for a WC 3rd party adminstrator & will share this video with all of our 546 trucker clients. The message was loud & clear & I think that it sends a strong message to all of us. Stop with the numbers stuff & get the message!

  • Absolutely amazing video i would have to say my all time number 1 favorite probably and your description it's so true most of the accidents are caused by cars, that just treat driving like it's a game. And so true that many truck drivers ultimately end up harming themselves more by trying to avoid, or lessen the impact on a car, even when it's the car's fault etc. God bless you David G. and god bless all truckers. 3:53 and on = heart touching, period. I was a driver otr for awhile. Be safe & GB

  • thirty years truckin so far I did, GOD thankyou for keeping me safe, and no dry eye here to be found

  • AMEN !

  • ive lost a lot of good freinds out here

  • wow i cant believe that you would say such a harsh thing. im a long haul trucker and have been hit by a ems van that was speeding and running reds without even slowing down, and guess who was in the wrong?? ill admit there are some shitty truckers but there are shitty drivers in cars, pickups, ems, cops, taxi and bus and even shitty pilots.

  • what percentage are the truckers fault then, when trucks crash? so none of these guys were driving too fast or logging to many hrs huh?

  • @paramedic6801 just to answer your question the studies that have been done say that when a car and big truck collide 79% of the time its the cars fault that does not mean there not some bad truckdrivers that need to be taken off the road and if i see a driver whether c ar or big truck not driving right i call it in with over 26+ years exp driving with no accidents and no tickets i have seen my fair share of both.

  • That was sad..

  • As both in law enforcement and as a paramedic, it is sad to see anyone die but, most of the wrecks I have worked 90% are the truckers fault. Had one trucker fall asleep and going fast who ran into a suburban killed a family of 7 and he walked away.

  • you obviously need to do more research, only %28 of car truck crashes are the trucks fault. I have been trucking 21 years and have seen cops drive more wreckless then anyone!!!

  • cj382. ok, dot and insurance statistics are wrong. i will let them know.

  • Don't know what make-believe site YOU are looking at, but the *real* USDOT, NHTSA, and NTSB numbers for 2007 (latest I could find) state that injury accidents involving commercial transport vehicles vs. passenger vehicles were 62% the fault of passenger vehicle drivers, 15% were mechanical failure, 20% were the transport driver's fault, and 3% other causes. Your personal estimate/experiences are irrelevant. Anecdotal evidence isn't real evidence. That's day 1 of any Statistics class.

  • lol highroller, you LIE LIE LIE! DO YOUR RESEARCH IDIOT. I am a certified paralegal AND an OTR Driver. NHTSA stated in it's 07 report that, "Large trucks accounted for 8 percent of all vehicles involved in fatal crashes and 4 percent of all vehicles involved in injury and property-damage-only crashes in 2007." Furthermore, your 20 dollar words don't mean SHIT! Grow a sack and use google. It will actually make you look smart instead of an azz! lol Oh you can check DOT HS 810993 SUCKA!

  • im a long haul driver from edmonton alberta, i lost a good friend last march in a very bad crash in edmonton alberta. his name was mark. in this video u have a pic of his wreck.. thx for such a respectfull video to him and all the great men and women that have lost there lives tryn to keep this world moving. till we meet at the crossroads my friends

  • I have been a truck driver for three years and there have been a few times that I have almost gotten in to trouble because not everybody pays us the attention that they should. LOOK OUT FOR TRUCKS and leave room.

  • I'm a Trucker. 3 years ago I rolled my truck. 6 surgeries later I watched this video. All I can say is some how I feel lucky.

  • My Step dad works in the tipper industry here in England, his best mate died when one of his hydrolic arms snapped and the 40 tonne load buckled and tipped the trailer and the cab over crushing him. he left a wife and two kids, you don't think about the dangers truckers go through until you lose someone so close to you. people are in to much of a hurry and take to many risks when incountering big trucks, don't pull out infront of one STOP WAIT, BE A LITTLE LATE, it's not worth your life.

  • I'm a truck driver, and all i want to say is may God bless all of us. The best thing i like about my job is GETTING HOME.

  • Great video. I have a lot of respect for truckers.

  • Thank You! We couldn't find a better choice for this video than Angel. It's very fitting for our Heroes who have lost their lives in trucking related accidents.

  • i love this song. its so sad.

  • We have lost to many great truckers for some stupod reasons..Don't risk your life for any freight or dispatch..

    Come home safe..

  • Thank You Dominic. We often forget how dangerous trucking is. What's truly scary is that people around us in 4 wheelers don't even know the danger they cause themselves by crowding big trucks on the road or even worse, cutting them off.
