  • In 1970 my dad bought a new Bell pepper green Judge.I was only 5yrs old. This was our daily driver. The only vehical we had. We drove it every where we went. It was a 4 speed car . This car was a beast. I still remeber we would drive 30 miles to the drag strip. My dad would run the shit out of it. And we would drive it back home. Boy my dad regrets selling this car now. He sold it in 1981 for 600.00. Right before i got my licence. It had a little rust. But was in good shape. Damn i wish i had it!

  • It is an auto, just a bit on the brake to brake loose on the pavement is all it takes ;>)

  • its like when your in a prius and you see this beast of a car pull up beside you ...you jizz then shit your pants bc your in the presence of god almighties car lol all hail the gto...id like to have a ram air 1! the most beast gto V_V

  • if thats mild what is extreme or out of control?but damm the gto judge is a dream muscle ride

  • I have a '68 Charger which is my dream car. My best friend has 2 '70 GTO's and they are my second dream car. A numbers matching 455 HO convertible and a RAIII hard top. Great cars

  • Cameras man didn't sound very happy

  • thats mild? i wana see an out of controll burnout!

  • how fun

  • my 1st job back in 73 a guy i worked with had one just like it. I went for a few rides in it it was a awesome car I'll never forget.

  • all i gotta say is no matter what make people like the GTO commands respect

  • I am a huge Goat fan. What I wouldn't do to have one of my own. Perhaps one day. I prefer a 69 Judge tho

  • All rise for The Judge

  • man thats a beauty. this is probly a dumb question but youve seen "two lane black top" right?

I have a 55 belair, and my buds got a 70 judge gettin ready for paint, same color as yours. i love it!

  • @velasjj

haha, you're funny!! Take a look at my GTO burnout videos, not only is it stock like this GTO, but it burns the tires just as far and without holding the brake on!!

Move over Chevys ~ GTO's rule!!

  • @1Rukee i dont know man im a chevy guy but also think a built car goes by the name of the builder so whatever your name be thats what kinda car you got lol have good fun with your gto style body

  • PONTIAC TRIBUTE DAY - Tuesday, June 1st 2010

  • Sweet ride man!!

  • good old American Muscle

  • dazed and confused GTO!!!

  • GTOs are the shit i love them

  • bad ass. I love GM muscle. and have always loved the Judge

  • Im a Roadrunner guy, but DAMN! I want a 70 GTO now

  • I love Road Runners..... Keep her !! We can share lol

  • LOL imma go ahead and come clean now.. I dont have a Roadrunner... YET!

  • You could switch cars...and you could lend them to me someday

  • @the70oojudge Beautiful car but you need a dictionary. You obviously do not know the meaning of mild. That was much more than mild! Great burn out.

  • i was really looking for a 69 but this one is ok

  • and to say not all gto's do this is just showing your ignorance about pontiac in general velasjj! ANY gto from that era can do that! u really dont know much about pontiac motors and their torque. my dads 66 tempest has a 326 and i can do that all day long and its bone stock its got 250 horse and its a 2 barrel 2:73 rear gear and 2 speed tranny. and lets not forget my 77 t/a 4 speed it has a 73 400 barely 280 horse and i can melt my tires all day long

  • You're right fireamracing! This GTO could do a real power burnout running through the gears! All GTO owners know that! This is just a slow smoky burnout show (powerbrake) that looks impressive.... yep!

Pontiac engines were developed with a "flat torque curve" in mind. This is the reason GTO's produce massive instantaneous horespower faster than other engines rated the same. The GTO is gone before most other cars are able to develop HP as quickly. This Judge is a rare color, a real beauty!

  • putting a chevy 350 in that car would be a disgrace! u need a pontiac 455 that motor will run 10 times better than some shitty ass 350 chevy

  • hey! this was my prom car. thank you so much!!!

  • **jealous** mine was a Honda... SUV tho..

  • this is exactly why I want a GTO

  • She is pretty well stock.. All origional except for being bored over 30 thou, and being cc'd and balanced.. And yes all GTO's will do this and most even better

  • @velasjj

haha, you're funny!! Take a look at my GTO burnout videos, not only is it stock like this GTO, but it burns the tires just as far and without holding the brake on!!

Move over Chevys ~ GTO's rule!!

  • @velasjj Pontiac motors are just as hotrod-able as chevy motors are and the trans is probably a th-350 or 400 in this thing just with the pontiac bell housing. The stock GTo rear end was probably a posi from the factory as well. I cant see gm putting an open differential in one of their judges. I think some even came factory with a 4.10 gear set in them not sure on that but at least a set of factory 3.73 set was available. You would be surprised how quick a stock GTO is.

  • King freakin' Kong, the GTO does this with such ease without abusing it

  • Nice Goat bro

  • Cant believe your from Canada, as I am too. Right now on Kijiji theres a 1969 GTO the judge with ram air fully restored for 35 000

  • The earlier ones from Canada apparently had a problem with them fogging up so till they fixed the problem with that they had them inside where the clock was.. Thats what I was told but I have seen Canadian ones with hood tachs but built later on in January.. Mine was built in December 69

  • I thought all gto judges had a hood tach? mine does.

  • I'm impressed.

    I've been a GTO

owner (and enthusiast) for years. I've had, in order, a '66,'68(in the early 70's) and a dark blue '67 in the mid-'80's. All three were beautiful colors. My '66 was gold/gold, the '68 was black/black and the '67 was dark blue/lt. blue. I think the '68 was an HO and I didn't really know it at the time. It ran the best and was arguably the prettiest of the three. That black '68 was a gorgeous car when completely clean. My only gripe was it showed dirt very easy.

  • ANYONE UP? I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO

lovin this video!! leave me a comment WH

  • Orbit orange, can someone say Two Lane Blacktop?

  • every time i see orbit orange, i think of dazed and confused where the stoner had the 70 orbit orange judge. dope ass car.

  • Mild.....wooooooo!

  • "Color Me Gone Baby!"

  • man that look insanely close to my 1974 Pontiac Grand AM

  • Hows that? completely different look now a 73 GTO was the same body as the 74 Grand Am

  • In 70.71,72 they had the same body style, 73 was a lemans, grand am , grand prix body style and the 74 was the apollo, nova body style.. after 1970 the GTO became an option. And the GTO Judge was an option on the GTO only in 69,70,71.

  • i like how you say "mild" burnout that was pro stock! love it!

  • Looks just like the Judge from the movie Dazed and Confused.

  • Nice.

  • sick goat love it!!!!

  • beautiful car...I also love the silver 69 gto judge and the black 71 gto judge

  • very nice, i love these cars, its like in dazed and confused at the start of the movie and the judge is just floating at like 5 miles an hour lookin gorgeous . mmm makes a tear in my eye from its beauty

  • Niiice. I love Orbit Orange.

  • sick ass car man I have a 1971 lemans that we converted over to a gto and it looks just like your most depedible cars on the road

  • GET ON IT SON! Beautiful car.

  • Thank you! Still working on her... and having fun too!

  • lol, looks like the same car...color, hood, sound, as the one off of two lane black top...that get's sucked up by the '55 chevy.

  • Actually that did not have the Judge Option, but it was a 455 Orbit Orange GTO, Watch the movie and consider the drivers.. LOL...

  • yeah I knew that wasn't a judge in that movie

  • I dont think that a "factory" Judge or GTO could have beat the 55 Chevy from 2 lane, it was a glass nose, glass trunk BBC with duel tunnel ram and I think they were Domanators with a M22 crusher and slicks. Its a poor match up. However I would bet good money that any distance race would have the GTO winning.

  • i like the "mild burnout" in the about section.

    good show =)

  • Your welcome to try... gears or no gears lol!!!

  • i dont think my 2.72s will cut it, lol

    u runnin a 400 or 455?

  • mine would eat that thing, lol, cant wait to get them gears off ya.....

  • NICE. Love the sound and the smoke. Need to see more of this car in action.

  • In the 80s I met a drag racer/guy (I learned from him) with a Pontiac Speed shop. He'd raced every Pontiac bodystyle & V8 over 30 years. He always said RA3s would run as good or better than RA4s, or something's not adjusted/performing right. On street cars, I believe this especially true on RA3 to RA4 cams.--witnessed in many personal experiences/experiments. We all know how well 73/74 SD455s ran with only 8.4 compression. Those used a cam identical to a RA3, only a different part number.

  • On of my Pontiac engines I have #13s III's on a 30. 400 with a 292H 501. lift on both sides. I have about 11 compression. The heads have a mild port on them, #1407 Edle. and Edle. intake on a TH475 with 373s , I have 411s in now havent driven it yet with them, but she is nasty out of the hole stalling at 3,200rpm!

  • Great screen name there Bud. Ya, I bet the 3200 stall really helps your puzzle all come together, considering as good as TH trannies were, the torque converter technology back then was not the best for the more radical cams. 72 huh, I have 1972 7k3 400 heads on a 455 in a 73 grand prix, LOL. About a true 9.8 compression. Your cam should work great because I have about a 278/472 on mine. It runs good but is too mild with more room for wildness. Need something closer to your cam.

  • The cam is great, tho I would like to try a liitle more lift on the EX side to bring out the 1.77 valve, and go solid. Love the cam most at night as the "lope" dims the headlights at stop lights. Yea 32-35 stall is crazy!!

  • Ya, you might try something like 1.65 rockers on the EXH side only if you have like 1.5s now and non-split duration. Not sure if your cam is a split duration. But around 1960 Pontiac found their engines run better with split duration of about 10-16 degrees more on the EXH side. Their 4bbl cams were 273/283 and 273/289, HO cam was 288/302, RA3 301/313, RA4 308/320, etc. Those cams all only had around .410 lift, but the RA4 was around .470.

  • I had a buddy that did that with his small block chevy in his vette and it helped out alot. I was thinking on doing it to my Judge but so far have not done it..

  • Another they say is great is "RHOADES LIFTERS". There's performance tests all over the net of Pontiacs gaining significant time with them. They claim 25% more low end torque by knocking off 10 degrees duration below 3000 rpm, while allowing no lost duration over 3000. 10 degrees less on low-end is about the same as dropping down from a RA4 to a RA3, or RA3 to a very lowend torquey HO cam! Would be great to get the highend of a RA3, but lowend of a HO! Might try this in mine soon!

  • I put in Rhoades lifters when I did my Ram Air III engine in my Judge and some guys said it was not a good idea as it takes away the radical cam idle sound.. I like them and read alot about them at the time..

  • Yep that's the only thing, to do what they say, they should be taking away the radical cam idle (about 10 degrees worth). That's great at low rpm, but my concern was they'd not give you you're full hi-end cam back at high rpm. I was relieved to see some recent tests/graphs showing they do. Feel good about this--a lopey idle means you're gaining on high end over a non-lopey cam, but losing on low-end. So to get rid of the good sounding lope is to add some low-end.

  • When you boil it all down a solid roller is the way to go. Not only is it easy to set the "lash" and freeze it with polly locks you also have less parts to fail!

  • Ya, I have poly locks on mine even though I only have hydraulic at this time. They came that way as the heads came from someone who had just gotten them worked from Nunzi. Makes good for quick perfect addjusment.

  • Part 1: The CompCam is very cool, not only the sound but the idle lope that moves the car. I can even count the fires at idle! However I do have allmost 12:1, it's worth pulling the engine apart, however this cam is not for stock rods.

  • Part 2: The cam works up at 3200 and wakes up at 4000 and keeps going past 6000. I ran it up over 6200 running a SBC383w/AFR heads with a crusher, I did win but it took 6+ and that was in my 30. 400 with beamed, polished rods, forged TRW pistons.

  • Part 3: I would bet that a set of non beamed, polished, stress relived,ARP bolted factory rods would have come apart! All of us PMD guys need to ditch the factory rods as this is the weakest link. We need to save face our PMD engines!

  • Part 4: I don't usually run other Pontiac powered cars, I would rather not risk 2 PMD engines running each other, now the bastard chevy powered pontiacs and the fake aussie imported chevy gto are all top list cars!

  • I hear you all the way, I hate fakes & wanna beat people "pyschically" who tell me they junked a rare Pontiac engine for a Chebby. Chevy parts are cheaper, but I feel it takes less parts to get power with Pontiacs - & with many good stock parts from various years too.

  • Check this out: 11s in a heavy wagon with a mild daily driven engine using stock q-jet carb, stock like 3.31 gears, stock heads, stock manifold, no bottle, no boost, stock auto tranny, pump gas. Do a youtube search for """"71 LeMans Station Wagon at Strip, Run #7, 11.60 at 115 + mph"""""

  • I totally agree on the rods. I took my 455 to 5900 once and was very lucky it's still together.

  • putting RA III heads on my 71 Formula w/47K and I'm excited! Your car sounds badass!!!

  • dude i love gtos.. they are badass!!! my uncle has restored 5 and hes workin on another this winter

  • What a nice car!Don't have like this one in europe!

  • I also have a 1970 gto; it has the judge stripes but don't know if it is one. I'm looking to restore it.

  • They are all worth restoreing.. Im on the hunt for another one to do !! Enjoy

  • i don't knowif the driverwas an idiot or sumpthin but last time i raced a ramair3 i beat him with a 340 smallblock custom 70 cuda..straight up and he took off before me

  • Rock the driver had to be a complete idiot. A ramair3 can a 427 hemi.

  • I MEAN HE FUCKING RODE THAT BITCH HARD WE EVEN TRADED RIDES FOR A MINUTE RAN EM AT THE DRAG STRIP I RODE THE JUDGE HARD AND I STILL GOT BEAT WITH MY OWN CAR????x

  • haha your 340 is alot stronger than you think then. What does your car run in the quarter?

  • beautifull car would love to see more of it

  • Thanks!! She is stock cept a overbore of 30 thou , rods peaned , deburred the whole inside of the block and balanced and cc'd heads. Still more to do but thanks for the first comment on her!!

  • hell yea!
