@migser85 Marica! arregla tu heli... Me siento solo...
Saludos!
this is what i've been saying in my youtube videos also
I now have 3 exi 450's and love them you can get a tarot combo kit with all electronics for 190+shipping Some of my tarot parts where actually stamped align, maybe they are ran off the same line I dont know but quality wise they are every bit as good as trex, but I will not down the exi its a great bird I wouldnt buy anything less than the exi
@osyhaz wanna thank u again for helpn me out with questions I had. I finally got my exi450 this week. You posted I should use mg90s servos but it's not fitting as a tail servo in bracket should that b sumptn different than mg90s? Also f u can post detailed pics of 450,so I can c where n how y mounted n wired servos,rx,etc....... Thanx
Saludos!
@dutch349311 thanks! Its been a while since I did that video, now I use kind of better helis and electronics because o got a bit better on 3D and was not enough performance for me BUT, I still think it is the best choice to buy a clone with some especific electronics proven by someone capable to do some 3D. The turnigy typhoon 2215h 3550kv with 13t work quite good for sport and mild 3d, my favorite cheap servo for ciclycs and tail is the mg90s, no matter if it is hobby parts or turnigy
@dutch349311 the pentium 30a esc is enough but I can push very hard the pentium 40, Im about 90% sure volcano series is the same and it is cheaper. The gy48v gyro is a must use. As a comment I have to tell you that a torque tube version is not the best choice for a beginer because as begginers we use to have problems landing and TT are not made for that rude use. If you like the pro because you like the frame, the head, the canopy or other than the torque tube, you should buy the...
@dutch349311 you should buy the parts to make it belted. It is a lot harder to screw the belt than to strip a TT gear.
I have a bad experience with 450 pro but can blame the helicopter because I bought it used(I have bought only two used helis and both became a pain in the ...) and I lost the interest on making it work because I started to get in FPV and have a couple of sports that works great. It is your choice, but today (dont know tomorrow... lol) I think the 450 sport is the best choice
@dutch349311 Im not sure if I forgot something, feel free to ask. I will do my best to help, I enjoy to see people that doesnt like to become hooked to a brand name. Youre doing right, and if you have a flair for it, Im sure you will develop your skills faster than people that uses expensives helis under the same conditions as you. Another tips, I use the 325mm $3.36 hobby partz blades and all the main gears, tailbooms , etc is chineese spare parts and works awesome.
@osyhaz I'm debating buying trex450pro or exi450 now that I've seen ur vid and I'm new at this & honestly can't afford trex so seriously thinkn exi for now. So as a noob what list of electronics do u recommend I order including motor, pinion size, servosThanks, really enjoy ur vids
Wow, you are a better pilot than I thought. That looked smooth and professional. Is the gaui 550 a new bird for you? Nevermind, you dont need any advice from me.
@kavic5150 Thanks man! I can do some more stuff, you can see it on my channel "osyhaz", I cant get into this account anymore. About the gaui, it was the third bird I bought and was nice to beggin in 3D because of it size and stability, but as you said, a little out of power. If you are thinking about buying it, I would recomend to try the gaui 425. I have looked at some videos of Bobby watts and Kyle stacy and looks awesome on 3D and there are cheap efficient blades for it size.
@kavic5150 I have sold my gaui 550, since I bought a trex 500 and a Protos and they were very reliable and powerfull compared to the gaui 550. I dont mean that the 550 is bad but in my experience you have to invest too much money to make it work quite good. To me, after doing 3D on a 450 with an Scorpion motor, the hurricane 550 became aborring and limited heli. About the leds, I think the problem is the camera and me. I used to try the new hardest maneuvers at the end of the day...LOL
Hi my friend, I like your way of thinking. Why pay for the original when we are in a learning process. When we learn, we hit . Why destruct a high cost machine, when it is possible to learn and destruct a cheaper one. I use the gyro. I live in Canada (Québec) and it is cold out there and the gyro has no problem with that.
@gaetanboiv Hi! Im the guy on the video but have problems to get into this account... osyhaz is my new and more active channel so you can take a look at some new videos doing kind of better 3D with this gyro. It is nice to know that some people know the real value of money and also that this giro works for you in your weather conditions.
I still think this gyro is really good and I use it on my backup helis for do 3D and do a great job, so good that today I removed a 401
@gaetanboiv Today I was working on a trex 450 pro (clone) that didnt convinced me yet, and decided to remove the fut. 401 and place another gy48v on it, I honestly believe it is better. I use this cheap gyro in my hk 500 and it performs awesome. I can do very reliable backward inverted hurricanes and pyroflips with it. It makes me furious when some ass h... says that pirorate bull sh... problems with it. I also can do pirofunels with it and no pirorate problems at all
@osyhaz I use the same gyro you use. The Detrum. I own 3 or 4. They are all excellent, but I fly more scale than 3D which will be my objective this spring. The little HK has the same characteristics and it is as good as the Detrum.
UPDATE!!!, you should buy the mg90s servos for cylics, about $6.00 each at hobbypartz, the sg90 works fine but will be broken and need to be changed on crashes, the mg90 resist lots of crashes, I have never change any of them and I crash one or two times a week.
