in other words he didn't want his country to occupied with foreign troops etc etc...the countries fighting the war in afganistan would have done the same in pakistan if he hadn't agreed (made long term deals like allowing the USA to build military bases in Pakistan, to make wars from Pakistan etc)...he just signed a deal with the devil!
