Mine sounds like a bowl of Rice Crispies when i play. With enough snaps crackles and pops to ruin my mix. I have tried everything to make this stop and it seems a lot of people are having the same issues. I hope they update the drivers and fix this because this thing is like a brick now.

I have a four channel mixer , and I use traktor sctrach pro with 4 decks , can I use audio for DJ for running all four channels and routind to my mixer together at same time??

with a normal labtop soundcard you only have 1 channel (the master output) and no minitor for cueing.

@wales2k4eva a better sound card gives higher quality sound. the sound card in most computer are terrible because sound quality is at the bottom of the list in the importace of making the computer. some computers like the HP Beats Audio by Dr. Dre were made for sound, but you will still need a sound card if you want to hear the good quality on high powered speakers. a computer itself cannot be connected to high powered speakers because the only output it has is for heaphones and regular speakers

@wales2k4eva no because what the soundcard does is take the terrible quality out of the computer, fixes the quality, then blasts the sound out of speakers. you cant make it go in the revers direction but if you could it would be pointless cuz after the guitars sound goes thru the soundcard theres nothing for the soundcard to do cuz the guitar already is HQ.

but then when it goes in the computer, since the computer has a bad soundcard, the quality will decrease. if you want to record on ur computer and be HQ you must use HP Beats Audio, which has an amazing soundcard built in

@wales2k4eva its cheap hp laptop w/ an upgraded soundcard... most likely not as good as the audio 4 external soundcard. they dont have rca input/outputs either.

I want to use Audio 4 as my sound card to operate my Virtural Dj program with my Virtural Dj TimeCoded CD will this work? I need to know before I spend money purchasing a sound card I cant use. thanks.......PS Im using Denon products mixer and S3700 tables. I only have Virtural Dj as my PC Dj software

A quick question I have traktor pro. So with audio 4 I will be able to listen on my headphones whatever it's playing on deck A or B?

The reason I'm asking is because on this product on headphone jack it says "Deck B" does this means that you could only hear on Deck B. Or you could listen to both channels.

my question is: can i still use the control vinyls with the traktor LE (the version that comes with the sound card), or do I automatically have to upgrade to Traktor scratch (pro)...?

of course you can, this NI Audio DJ 4 is the same like serato, only difference is how it looks! Im going to buy it too....so enjoy :D

of course. this soundcard is included if you buy traktor scratch duo. but i think it works only with traktor timecoded vinyls

@pittster57 Yes, it will work with any traktor timecode vinyl as long as you are using traktor scratch duo or traktor scratch pro. But I am not sure about other timecode vinyls. You might have to call Native Instruments for than one.

it doesnt make much sense, since you can only use two decks with traktor scratch duo. So, if you are planning on using only two decks, then you should go with the audio4.
