The shows has different censors, because ABC was a family channel, a lot of kids and grandmas watched Whose Line in Us, including My cousin, sister, and I.
this has got to be my favorite 'scene to music' ever on whose line. It's short, simple and hilarious! Also I love Steve and Ryan together, Steve always seems to have so much fun! He's definitely somewhere in the top 5 Whose line cast members for me, with Ryan nr.1 for obvious reasons ;)
We forgive you, its a very British thing! it's a genre of film that were made in the 70's i think and featured the same cast in each film which were comedy films full of sexual Innuendo's. Each one was set in a different place, Carry on Camping, Carry on Henry, Carry on Up the Cyber etc... Look them up, they're alright.
x) It's so fun to see Ryan working with someone other than Colin for a change. I mean, sure, they work great together, but the variety of the UK version is so nice.
Ryan was using a play on words. In addition to the regular funeral ceremony, some religious traditions have an additional ceremony they call a "wake".
I would rather associate this withe Jehovah's publishing called "Wake Up" (I'm translating from polish, so I'm not sure if it's the same title in english) and the fact that they think of themselves as awaken - unlike all other people, who - by evangelisation - they try to wake up. I think so...
It has nothing to do with a funeral wake. As olsonka13 says, the Jehovah's Witnesses publish a magazine called "Awake!", which is what Ryan is talking about. I'd actually be sort of surprised if it isn't published in the UK, so I wonder if maybe it's just Stephen who hasn't heard of it.
lol Ryan's bartender song is adorable and hilarious

Ryan and Colin work together like peanut butter and jelly, like they think as one.
It must have been hard to improvise together at first.

@Sectorsophia Actually, he was more likely referencing "Awake!", the Jehovah's Witness magazine that they try to sell you at the door.
