i have learned all the advanced meathods for the 5by5 and still cant even get sub 5,plz help!!

There aren't advanced methods really, just practice your centers and edges, i.e. get your centers down to sub-30 or sub-25, practice building the centers using 1x3 blocks or however you do it, just be consistent, and for the edges, use either freestyle or AvG, pick one, and practice it. Look at Dan Cohen (masterofthebass) and Erik Akkersdijk's (frk17) 5x5 tutorials for more information. I've cubed for maybe 11 months or so and I got my time for 5x5 at about 2:30, so just practice :)

That's what freestyle is, or rather, let me clarify: "Nakaji" or "Frank Morris" edge pairing. AvG is not really advanced, but I guess one could label it as such if stemming from the basic edge pairing, and those are the two most common methods to get sub-1:30, and what I see as "advanced."
