I'd think he had DECENT ones the past couple years, but each and every year, they were guaranteed to shrink in the moment. Oh no doubt man, in terms of accomplishments, Kobe's got LeBron by a mile. I was merely talking about individual talent and skill, where I think LeBron is right there with Jordan. His game isn't beautiful like Jordan's (no ones really is...), but he's just as dominant (individually). As for the past 2 playoffs, there's no reasonable explanation as to why he shrinks. Of course, Magic Johnson had VERY SIMILAR issues in the 1984 Finals, but once you win they become forgotten.

One thing that gets swept under the rug is the fact that LeBron's never had a great supporting cast. I'd think he had DECENT ones the past couple years, but each and every year, they were guaranteed to shrink in the moment. Of course, because LeBron was the leader, he got criticized but he's never had a guy comparable to Pau Gasol, oft-injured but good big man Andrew Bynum, or an all-around talent Lamar Odom. Mo Williams is so "good" that he's going to be a 6th man on the CLIPPERS.

The only people I've ever seen dispute it have been Kobe fans. If they are true Lakers fan, they accept them (they prove Magic's greatness, Abdul Jabbar's, and West's). They don't support Kobe's "greatness". But, ESPNs hype machine will have people believe he's a top 2 player all-time. Crazy?

Oh no doubt man, in terms of accomplishments, Kobe's got LeBron by a mile. I was merely talking about individual talent and skill, where I think LeBron is right there with Jordan. His game isn't beautiful like Jordan's (no ones really is...), but he's just as dominant (individually). As for the past 2 playoffs, there's no reasonable explanation as to why he shrinks. Of course, Magic Johnson had VERY SIMILAR issues in the 1984 Finals, but once you win they become forgotten.

Jordan was doing more than what lebron is doing with less of a good squad(sorry that came out wrong without looking dumb). Kobe nuthuggers cling to his defense being much better until about 3 years ago...if that's true, then LeBron's been (by far) the greatest defensive player in the history of the game for the past 3 years to make up so much ground to a supposed top defensive player.
