I'm almost ceartain that none of you have done enough rescearch to be familiar with the White Hole Theory. If the big bang was the cause of the known universe, then what caused the big bang? That is where the White Hole theory comes into play.
unknownsoldier, the chances of that is same as... (i liked this example when I heard it, so i quote again)...a tornado hitting a huge junkyard with every imaginable thing in it and when its over it leaves behind a shinny Boeing 747 jumbo jet in its wake.
Assuming time and space are infinate and the manners in which matter forms are finite, doesnt that mean at some point in space and time, we'll be recreated
I'm just saying that if you've ever taken a chemistry or biology class, you'd understand that matter only forms in certain ways. If our understanding of time is true that time and space are infinate which is a value beyond our comprehension, then yes, either you or some replica of you will be recreated.
Ah yes. Another 10 year old with the mind of a 5 year old who thinks everything is so easy with his "gigex omega quad laser 9000" that can put holes 9999999 miles into the atmosphere and destroy anything he want's. No kid, Your a fuckin tool. YOU SHOULD BECOME PRESIDENT AND PUT YOUR COUNTRY IN DEBT BY THE MILLIONS YOU FUCKING TOOL!
We create and exist within an illusional, vibrational framework. Your brain is both interpreter and creator of this energy, creating your reality through a process called perception. Take away your senses are reality disappears. The past & future exist only as electricity in your brain. There is only now. Only when you step into the Now can you understand what reality is. You seem to exist within everything, but in reality everything exists within you.
We are born and we all have a beginning. Everything we know and care about has a beginning and usually an end. But substances are there. We can't know why. We can't even grasp how small we are. If we could, I doubt I would even waste time posting this reply. But think: if we can't grasp that, how do we grasp the beginning?
If you think: We are incomprehensibly (under-freaking-statement) small in this universe. Incomprehensibly. We have NO WAY of comprehending how small we are. How can we possibly know if everything needs a beginning? We cannot KNOW that for sure. We cannot KNOW God exists (hence the Bible speaks repeatedly about faith. There was a lot of truth to Douglass Adam's Hitchhiker series when God was snuffed out in a puff of logic after proving his existence.)
Very true. The point that I was making was that there has to be somthing more powerfull than ourselves in the universe for us to exist. If we really think that there is not a single entity that is much more wise and powerful than ourselves (a.k.a. "God") than we should be able to explain why, and how we are here. The bottom line is that there is somthing out there that understands much more than humans do.
So many of these responses are purely covered by different philosophers. The first "mover" is a philosophy in itself. That something must have moved first.
Bil & Sol: You guys need to relax! You guys are both saying the same thing - albeit from slightly different perspectives. How about you both go look up the word 'something'?
I don't need need to relax, I've relaxed for too long. I know the meaning of the word something and the word nothing, it is a theory and if people are too dumb to understand that then that is there problem. And the whole reason why everything must come from something is that math is universal, 1 + 1 = 2, 1 - 1 = 0 who gives a shit really though, and for biller to say anything is impossible is a stupidity of it's own. Improbable maybe, but nothing is impossible.
The universe didn't just come about. Somthing had to have started either the smallest atom to start a chain reaction, and this figure that started everything obviously must know more about the world than us humans do...as shown by the ridiculous alternate theories that we come up with (big bang theory)
The universe didn't just come about, something origionally came from nothing, but nothing is still technically something otherwise how could we call it nothing and define it as a word. It's a matter of perspective, and logic clears it up but can not complete the puzzle. Time(The construct of the universe) is infinite.
No, nothing is still a word. The only way to explain the universe coming about is that there is somthing that knows more than us...get over it, we don't know everything, nor will we ever. The only explanation is that there is somthing (a.k.a. "God") that knows more than we do.
I believe origin is told by the most common shape... a circle... something creates nothing, nothing creates something... etc... for the universe to exist it cannot have a beginning or an end only a beginning and an end to that within it.
The ignorance I see lies in what you just said. And no shit, nothing is a word. Also they have already found that the first organism that you are so confident that "a higher being" created could have been created through electricity and the right "ingredients" so take your ignorance elsewhere.
So... basically, the something that started everything had to be nothing. To find the beginning just forget everything except two words, the definable(Something), the undefinable(Nothing)... but on the whole god concept... I absolutely do not believe in god, plus I don't agree with any "religious system," people want to pray, pray to someone you know exists... and somebody that'll care.
You don't have to believe in organized religion to believe in a logical entity that obviously created at least the smallest form of organism that evolved into what we are now. You cannot get past the fact that we came from something We did not come from absolute nothingness. I don't believe in an organized religion form of God; however, it is up to you to decide whether you believe we just came about for no reason, or you serve a purpose.
Your lack of understanding of the subject can be narrowed down to your inability to actually look up the definition of the word "nothing", nothing can be defined as the undefinable thus, unless you can define god, our existance, it is quite simply logical deduction that everything must come from nothing, nothing being the undefinable. Peace! And make sure you fully understand the literature in from of you.
As soon as I see an organism appear in a glass case containing no oxygen or light I cannot believe that somthing can just appear out of thin air. It is impossible no matter how you look at it. It doesn't take a genious to know that things, especially living things, don't jsut come out of thin air.
Honestly after this I don't care, believe in god, that he created everything, I don't care. But don't think that something is impossible when it can only be improbable otherwise you might just have to throw away your belief in god... think about it... it is best to have an open mind after all.
Everything are made out of energy, thats what einstein found out(E=mc^2). Big Bang was a huge release of energy and when the universe got cooler the energy could become quarks and form the first atoms. these became stars and they created all other elements. You might not get that but luckily others do, if not we would still be in the stoneage. I respect they who belive in god, as long as they dont say some bullshit things that contradicts all logic with arguments thats missíng any solid proof.
First off, they never said that the "Big Bang" was a fire n00b. Fires need oxygen, not the big bang. Your one of those people that still think we are the center of the universe and we are alone, in this 78 billion light year universe. How the hell did god create a 78 billion universe? You can actually relate to the universe, the universe is reality. God you just can't prove
When you think about what man is trying to achieve today on this tip of the iceberg science technology.... Dna codes, Cloning, Stem cells, Reserching the longevity of life on so forth.... look how far we have come on this over the last decade. If we had our shit together as a planet, just think how far we would be today? Deep space exploration wouldn't be impossible... maybe this is what has happened a billion years ago on another planet?
Well, maybe it was a big bang and God didn't create the universe?? Maybe God comes from a deep space planet... similar to ours but far older and the people have got their shit together unlike this hell we're making for our children on this beautiful planet.
But here is the mind blowing question... even if god did create the universe where did he come from?... logically... something had to come from no where.
Good question, but I would think that it is more logical that there is a higher being that created everything, which we would obviously not be able to understand. Humans trying to understand how, and where the universe came from is like Dogs trying to learn sign language.
Scientist now realize(at last) that everything is comprised of an "intelligent design." People also believe in god, the bang theory, but the big bang theory and god are flawed because nothing can simply just be there. Something has to come from something, so logically(logic is my dictator) something comes from no where... it is just there?... no... but something does have to come from nothing.
If God was created then he wouldn't be GOD. Gods are created from nothing. He's been there forever. I could continue on, but human mind can't comprehend these questions. Some have gone crazy doing so.
I didn't say god didn't exist, I'm just saying he could not have existed forever. To exist is to come into existance. I could explain it to you but you obviously refuse to comprehend that. Also mankind has been around for only but a moment in time so as far as god existing forever how could anyone possibly know... that is the blindest belief I have heard of.
I'm sorry if I sounded rude at all but I have thought this through more then anyone possibly could. Origionally it was my way of trying to disprove the existance of god. But, everything comes from nothing... one of the definitions of nothing is the undefinable which "god" would fall under, so it is possible that that "undefinable" is god or something beyond it is. So if that nothing(undefinable) is god then god has existed or could have existed forever... Peace!
I'm not saying don't believe in god I'm just saying don't believe everything you read... even if it's in the bible. The bible/religion is supposed to be a guide not a governing force in peoples lives... just a guide to a better life. And a priest would tell you that because I was told that. I however just don't believe in god, principles and morality are more important.
whats behind the universe? A big bang means there will be the need for oxygen to burn. So in effect there is no such thing as the big bang. The universe has no begining and end its absolute. Its God
Oh dear. You have fallen in the trap of so many creationists. The Big Bang is just a name, and it was too late to change it once it was coined. Think of it more as a rapid expansion, like blowing up a balloon, rather than an explosion. If you knew what the real big bang is then you would understand why your criticism makes absolutely no sense.
Did you just say that the universe is god? Wow, you have me very convinced now. PhiloTheSceptic is quite right; the "big bang" wasn't a bang at all. Talk about brainwashed...
All heavy elements up to Iron are produced by fusion in stars. Heavy elements after Iron are produced by neutron scattering and are ejected into the Universe by old stars via the Second Dredge Up process. All of this has been known for some time. A good book is Introduction to Astronomy and Astrophysics by Zeilik and Gregory. Creationism isn't right because science makes no sense to creationists. Knowledge is power and the spell of religion is breaking. Science and mathematics are the future.
ok 5 months later and my brain has also had a big bang of its own. and I have been able to learn more. And one thing I have learnt is that, if anyone understanding our perfect faculties to live and explore denies a being of superior existance to us, denies they had a great great grand father.
all we see is not real or is it what we are that is not real? for we form part of this evaluation so we have to learn to grow with it and the gift that is in it for us is to enjoy the ride with the one thing we all can share, LOVE.

For some reason I think if there is a God, he didn't design us, since 99.9% of all life that has ever existed on Earth is Extinct.

Until we know what caused the creation of the universe, God AND science are correct, and must be respected.

Assuming time and space are infinate and the manners in which matter forms are finite, doesnt that mean at some point in space and time, we'll be recreated
unknownsoldier30 5 years ago
Same chances as of monkey hitting away at the type written for trillion years re-creating shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
whichwazup 5 years ago
I'm just saying that if you've ever taken a chemistry or biology class, you'd understand that matter only forms in certain ways. If our understanding of time is true that time and space are infinate which is a value beyond our comprehension, then yes, either you or some replica of you will be recreated.

But think: if we can't grasp that, how do we grasp the beginning?
amanatee 5 years ago
If you think: We are incomprehensibly (under-freaking-statement) small in this universe. Incomprehensibly. We have NO WAY of comprehending how small we are. How can we possibly know if everything needs a beginning? We cannot KNOW that for sure. We cannot KNOW God exists (hence the Bible speaks repeatedly about faith. There was a lot of truth to Douglass Adam's Hitchhiker series when God was snuffed out in a puff of logic after proving his existence.)
amanatee 5 years ago
Very true. The point that I was making was that there has to be somthing more powerfull than ourselves in the universe for us to exist. If we really think that there is not a single entity that is much more wise and powerful than ourselves (a.k.a. "God") than we should be able to explain why, and how we are here. The bottom line is that there is somthing out there that understands much more than humans do.
biller05 5 years ago
So many of these responses are purely covered by different philosophers. The first "mover" is a philosophy in itself. That something must have moved first.

Bil & Sol: You guys need to relax! You guys are both saying the same thing - albeit from slightly different perspectives. How about you both go look up the word 'something'?
brandonisgod 5 years ago
I don't need need to relax, I've relaxed for too long. I know the meaning of the word something and the word nothing, it is a theory and if people are too dumb to understand that then that is there problem. And the whole reason why everything must come from something is that math is universal, 1 + 1 = 2, 1 - 1 = 0 who gives a shit really though, and for biller to say anything is impossible is a stupidity of it's own. Improbable maybe, but nothing is impossible.
Solj1n 5 years ago
I respect your opinion; however, I disagree.
biller05 5 years ago
The universe didn't just come about. Somthing had to have started either the smallest atom to start a chain reaction, and this figure that started everything obviously must know more about the world than us humans do...as shown by the ridiculous alternate theories that we come up with (big bang theory)
biller05 5 years ago
The universe didn't just come about, something origionally came from nothing, but nothing is still technically something otherwise how could we call it nothing and define it as a word. It's a matter of perspective, and logic clears it up but can not complete the puzzle. Time(The construct of the universe) is infinite.
Solj1n 5 years ago
No, nothing is still a word. The only way to explain the universe coming about is that there is somthing that knows more than us...get over it, we don't know everything, nor will we ever. The only explanation is that there is somthing (a.k.a. "God") that knows more than we do.
biller05 5 years ago
I believe origin is told by the most common shape... a circle... something creates nothing, nothing creates something... etc... for the universe to exist it cannot have a beginning or an end only a beginning and an end to that within it.
Solj1n 5 years ago
"For a universe to exist it cannot have a begining"
...I'll just let your ignorance speak for itself.
biller05 5 years ago
The ignorance I see lies in what you just said. And no shit, nothing is a word. Also they have already found that the first organism that you are so confident that "a higher being" created could have been created through electricity and the right "ingredients" so take your ignorance elsewhere.
Solj1n 5 years ago
So... basically, the something that started everything had to be nothing. To find the beginning just forget everything except two words, the definable(Something), the undefinable(Nothing)... but on the whole god concept... I absolutely do not believe in god, plus I don't agree with any "religious system," people want to pray, pray to someone you know exists... and somebody that'll care.
Solj1n 5 years ago
You don't have to believe in organized religion to believe in a logical entity that obviously created at least the smallest form of organism that evolved into what we are now. You cannot get past the fact that we came from something We did not come from absolute nothingness. I don't believe in an organized religion form of God; however, it is up to you to decide whether you believe we just came about for no reason, or you serve a purpose.
biller05 5 years ago
Your lack of understanding of the subject can be narrowed down to your inability to actually look up the definition of the word "nothing", nothing can be defined as the undefinable thus, unless you can define god, our existance, it is quite simply logical deduction that everything must come from nothing, nothing being the undefinable. Peace! And make sure you fully understand the literature in from of you.
Solj1n 5 years ago
As soon as I see an organism appear in a glass case containing no oxygen or light I cannot believe that somthing can just appear out of thin air. It is impossible no matter how you look at it. It doesn't take a genious to know that things, especially living things, don't jsut come out of thin air.
biller05 5 years ago
Honestly after this I don't care, believe in god, that he created everything, I don't care. But don't think that something is impossible when it can only be improbable otherwise you might just have to throw away your belief in god... think about it... it is best to have an open mind after all.
Solj1n 5 years ago
Everything are made out of energy, thats what einstein found out(E=mc^2). Big Bang was a huge release of energy and when the universe got cooler the energy could become quarks and form the first atoms. these became stars and they created all other elements. You might not get that but luckily others do, if not we would still be in the stoneage. I respect they who belive in god, as long as they dont say some bullshit things that contradicts all logic with arguments thats missíng any solid proof.

karoneprincess 5 years ago

Deep space exploration wouldn't be impossible... maybe this is what has happened a billion years ago on another planet?
rambos2ndcousin 5 years ago
Good words!!!
BGSoccerMagic 5 years ago
Well, maybe it was a big bang and God didn't create the universe?? Maybe God comes from a deep space planet... similar to ours but far older and the people have got their shit together unlike this hell we're making for our children on this beautiful planet.
rambos2ndcousin 5 years ago
maybe God comes from a deep space planet? wow.
and where did God's God, that made the planet that His planet, come from?
biller05 5 years ago
But here is the mind blowing question... even if god did create the universe where did he come from?... logically... something had to come from no where.
Peace!
Solj1n 5 years ago
Good question, but I would think that it is more logical that there is a higher being that created everything, which we would obviously not be able to understand. Humans trying to understand how, and where the universe came from is like Dogs trying to learn sign language.
biller05 5 years ago
Scientist now realize(at last) that everything is comprised of an "intelligent design." People also believe in god, the bang theory, but the big bang theory and god are flawed because nothing can simply just be there. Something has to come from something, so logically(logic is my dictator) something comes from no where... it is just there?... no... but something does have to come from nothing.
Solj1n 5 years ago
If God was created then he wouldn't be GOD. Gods are created from nothing. He's been there forever. I could continue on, but human mind can't comprehend these questions. Some have gone crazy doing so.
Kyougou 5 years ago
I didn't say god didn't exist, I'm just saying he could not have existed forever. To exist is to come into existance. I could explain it to you but you obviously refuse to comprehend that. Also mankind has been around for only but a moment in time so as far as god existing forever how could anyone possibly know... that is the blindest belief I have heard of.
Solj1n 5 years ago
I'm sorry if I sounded rude at all but I have thought this through more then anyone possibly could. Origionally it was my way of trying to disprove the existance of god. But, everything comes from nothing... one of the definitions of nothing is the undefinable which "god" would fall under, so it is possible that that "undefinable" is god or something beyond it is. So if that nothing(undefinable) is god then god has existed or could have existed forever... Peace!
Solj1n 5 years ago
I'm not saying don't believe in god I'm just saying don't believe everything you read... even if it's in the bible. The bible/religion is supposed to be a guide not a governing force in peoples lives... just a guide to a better life. And a priest would tell you that because I was told that. I however just don't believe in god, principles and morality are more important.

Lianet14 5 years ago
whats behind the universe? A big bang means there will be the need for oxygen to burn. So in effect there is no such thing as the big bang. The universe has no begining and end its absolute. Its God
hardgraftmakesmusic 5 years ago
PhiloTheSceptic 5 years ago

ManifestMiasma 5 years ago
ok 5 months later and my brain has also had a big bang of its own. and I have been able to learn more. And one thing I have learnt is that, if anyone understanding our perfect faculties to live and explore denies a being of superior existance to us, denies they had a great great grand father.
