The main problem is bad spawns can kill you regardless of your potions, so unless you're able to deal with them all relatively quickly you may die even with a lot of potions, so there is still a small luck factor with the spawns that's increasing the lower you have your combat. Supplies was never really the limiting factor.

@FlameUrPKZ Back about a year ago, if you ate a food as you get hit it would heal you the hp from the food after the damage calculates, thus making it almost impossible to die if you have enough purple sweets and recoils. i've seen videos of it and it would of taken real skill.
