What puzzles me is that while this is the initiative and effort of a humble, poor man who is trying to make a difference for 200 kids in his village, the rich Colombian families, on the other hand, those who could make a huge difference by sponsoring programs and building infraestructure to help educate the poor (the very same people they exploit), would rather invest their money to send their kids to private overly expensive schools in the big cities, or aborad, and simply look the other way.
Most interesting is that the Colombian authorities have plenty of money for useless military operations, death squads and countless forms of corruption.
But they won't find a peso to give Luis the money he deserves for his service to the community and to give him proper help and logistics. Oh well....
Thank you, stasisnu18. I wrote my first comment with caution. The figure of 95% is likely conservative. After all, we are still waiting for a single government to denounce the 9/11 terror attacks for the false flag that they were, designed to scare "us the people of the world" into endless and exhausting wars.
Traditionally, a "false flag" was a naval coup. Imagine that the king of France wanted to go to war with Spain, but could not get his people to follow. He would secretly prepare some warships, put the Spanish flag on them, send them offshore, and have them destroy a few French merchant ships. Survivors of the attack would, of course, accuse the Spaniards. The king of France would then denounce this act of war, exhort his people to respond, and get his war.
hey i understand what you mean. i do think it is possible and it would explain alot of things. but to be honest i dont really get involved in politics or that government things, i just live my life and enjoy every minute of it :)
Politics can be very complicated. 9/11 has the advantage of simplifying them by pointing to pathocracy as the single political issue worrth working on.
When pathocracy is finally over, life will be a lot more pleasant for everybody, Luis will be celebrated for his dedication, and public servants will suddenly find ways to get books to Colombian kids.
I saw it on PBS earlier this week. This guy is MY HERO.
