  • This video may be my favorite of all time. I am a *huge* supporter of the LGBT community. As a straight woman,it is so easy to take my freedoms forgranted while my gay friends ands loved ones aren't even afforded basic human and civil rights. Our Gays can fight our wars, be doctors in our hospitals, teachers in our schools and police in our cities yet they can't even legally commit their lives to the person they love. I am a protester against the cult and a support for my gays! Rock on Tory!

  • awnser- god doesent exist, neither shoul gays

  • I love how videos like this attract all the scientology team to immediately try to debunk, criticise etc. Everyone knows that dozens of scientologists watch this and read the comments so to you guys 'LOL you are paying a fortune to be in a cult that tries to silence free speech'. Keep it up but trust me your efforts are wasted as everyone outside your cult knows you are a cult.

  • If there was ever a picket in near by, then I'd gladly go. But I'm in HS and I don't have my license yet. So I know my parents won't let me drive to Philadelphia or NYC. :(

  • First of all, we are ALL sinners. Secondly, just because something is beautiful doesn't mean that it is always good. Remember, Lucifer was the most beautiful of all the angels and look what happened to him :/

  • @ajw159 "We"? Speak for yourself, please. I don't buy that, and I have a pretty tight

line with higher powers, too, call them God, Buddha, you name it. Most higher powers are not looking down on us, imnsho. IF there is a God (which IS still open for debate)--certainly any God I can think of wouldn't be claiming what you just said.

Hope you stretch your views a bit---so love is more what you see and pass on.

Hate ("you are all sinners" IS hatred, imnsho) is so easy to fling around. Try compassion

  • @ToryMagoo44 What's with all the accusations? Christians do not hate sinners, we are ALL sinners (yes including you). Jesus said to LOVE the sinners, LOVE your neighbor, to put the needs of others above your own. HOW IS THIS HATE??? Example, I believe homosexuality is a sin, but do I hate homosexuals? OF COURSE NOT!! I'm so sick of being accused of bigotry and hatred because I stated my belief that differs from your own, when NOTHING in my comment on your video had ANYTHING to do with hate :(

  • Thanks again Tory. A very important subject always. I love the "It Gets Better" Campaign for Gay youth.

    >Tory ((((((((HUG))))))))

  • 30 yrs ago I had a friend who is Gay and at the time quite flamboyant and just OUT there, we called him "Mother" . I knew he was in the church of $cientology , however I knew nothing about the business at the time. Recently I did a bit of searching around the internet and I saw his $cientology web profile. Im assuming he's still in. His name is Michael Pollard. If anyone has info on him please help me find him.

  • O god, Scientologists are biggoted...

    Fuck...ing...HELL!

  • That is one of the biggest eye-openers... something so basic as people not understanding 1.1 - duh. Covert means you can't see or detect the true intentions of the person. So, if you can sense that someone is not thrilled with you and says things to make you think they are against what you are doing or thinking, then they are not at 1.1 on the tone scale. They are antagonistic or something else. Duh again. Tone scale tech is not anything useful in reality. Most know how to get along bettah

  • Funny how evil regimes find it so useful to identify a scapegoat, isn't it?

Well done Tory. Stay safe, stay free, and keep on posting your videos. Make the world a better place :)

  • Half the people out there think being gay is a choice. They honestly think we choose to be gay. This obviously does not apply to bisexual people, but gays and lesbians do not chose our sexuality, it is the way it is.

  • @aaricus Well, first off, I doubt "half the people out there".....certainly not here in LA.

Here half the people ARE gay! :) But either way, my view is who cares? People who are so judgmental shall meet their own Karma in time. No matter what your sexual preference is, or situation people may not like, it's my view that each person needs to first of all love themselves, second of all, pass on that love.

Make sure each day is better than the last---give it 110%, you cannot lose then.

    :) TLC

  • Quite simply, religion in general inspires hatred. Nothing good has ever come from belief in a deity, only hatred.

  • @DragonRomer that couldn't be further from the truth. As Christian's, we are taught to hate the sin, but love the sinner. When I see someone caught up in sin (like homosexuals are) I feel compassion and understanding for that person, not hatred.

  • @ajw159 You should be ashamed, trying to spread your cult of hatred.

  • Off topic from this particular video, I wanted to ask Tory if she could balance the allegorical story of OT3 with Hubbard's ACTUAL CREATION STORY which can be found in The Factors, and in the first pages of "Theology and Practice of a Contemporary" religion. Also, of note is a religion in India that believes the universe is balanced on the backs of infinitely sized elephants standing on the ground, which underneath is an infinitely deep mud. Is that ridiculousness on par with OT3?

  • @DhunamiCE If you want to discuss religion, find someone else. I hate to type, and that discussion would take WAY longer than I'm willing to post about. Also, I don't care---people can *believe* whatever they want, and I respect that: AS LONG AS IT

DOESN'T HURT OTHERS. Thus, *I* speak out about the abuses of C of $. Sorry---but that's just me. Someone else may love to discuss it. Go to exscn (dot) net and talk with those folks. They'd probably love to. :) Tory/Magoo

  • The "red-horn" story is absolutely one of my favs Tory...they're almost iconic! =)

  • @gombis666 LOL! Thanks so much.........I agree, I love it, too :) :) It truly shows:

You *never* know what just ~may~ help another wake up, and leave the Cult of $cientology. Try something new :)

  • Ironic...Tommy Davis is a devout homosexual.

  • It amazes me that there are really people out there who still hate homosexuals. It astounds me how something that has absolutely no affect on anyone else such as sexual orientation can some how offend people. Ridiculous. People are people at the end of the day, what they do in the bedroom is of no concern to anyone else.

c of $ seems to have derived some of their beliefs from the idea of original sin and Victorian hysteria over mental illness. Terribly outdated.

  • Gutless liberal atheist tax and spend point of view.Dont let anyone fool you people two things should be stamped on this sweet little site.......Gay is choice and there is a God

  • @WildernessTree No one except delusional religous assholes just like you believe gay is a choice. Here's another interesting question, tell me why you don't believe in Zeus, Amon-Ra, or the Apollo??? Why are you an Atheist to those gods???

  • @AmericanGayAtheist unbeleivable ! God will settle this

  • religion is retarded

  • Thanks for this video, Tory.

  • Wonderful video as usual Tory.

    Keep up the good fight

  • You are so amazing. Speaking out the way you do, with the amount of "fair game" you've had to deal with!!! is truly remarkable. Thanks for supporting gays. Yes, C of S is very homophobic! Hubbard was a lunatic and created a monster that is still wrecking havoc on our world. Hopefully, sometime soon, the Church will either wake up (and start treating people better) or get destroyed and allow people to go on their way!

  • @AmericanGayAtheist typical fan of this darling site huh?

  • @WildernessTree Actually, I survived a cult that was similar to Scientology. So I feel a kinship with Tory. But even if I did not share that cult kinship. Tory Magoo is a dynamic lady who has some very meaningful things to say about life and its consequences. I'm glad to subscribe to such an intelligent and warm person!

  • i love these videos you are a amazing person

  • in one of your recent videos you mentioned about a job interview -

in the ten years out of Sci, how exactly have you supported yourself?

  • @DhunamiCE Working :)

  • Your hair's very pretty. :) Love it! <3 Good luck on the picket. We need to stop them. :P I'll go see if theres one in my city.

  • The word Homophob is used to describe people who are not okay with homosexuality as though they have a psychological disorder. This seems like an unreasonable way to describe straight people who don't feel comfortable with homosexuality.

  • Being gay was partly my salvation from Scientology! Reading what Hubbard wrote about homosexuality made me realize I didn't want to be part of that anymore. My story can be found on my channel, where I put 3 videos called "Why Scientology Wasn't For Me".

  • Tory girl -- that is the BEST hairdo I have seen on you in a long time.

Reminds me of when I first met you. You look GORGEOUS (which you

are of coursa, both inside and out). love ya, BBJ

  • Belief systems; curious things. You can believe God said this. You can believe The Creator meant that. You can believe that natural science only supports this. Or, you can believe that a living Prophet wrote it all down for you to follow, step by step.

Is your belief affected by the empirical process? Are you aware of what you have actually experienced? Can you relate that experience to others?

  • @dogstar7 Do your experiences contradict what you were expecting due to your beliefs? What conclusions can you arrive at regarding the use and implementation of "Beliefs"

  • i agree with you, nobody knows, cause nobody has lived thru it, lol, hows that for a sentence, ha ha, and i have a gay sister, and a gay nephew, and love them to bits, i get terrific advice from both by the way.and its not till i read the various comments that it is brought up in any way in my daily living and intereaction to either of em. love ya tory, like your direct approach

  • @thefairlysimple1 the comment below is for tory, obviously, sorry didnt click your reply button tory

  • I thought Anonymous took down scientology? Guess not, is it just me or is Anonymous the only people that are trying to stop scientology?

  • @InternetMasterMindX You're WAY off. Here's a little history lesson: Massive people from "in" C of $ left in 1982 (Google it to find out why). They began speaking out. Books were written about the fraud and cons Hubbard pulled. (Messiah or Madman). In the 90's OSA began fighting their critics, covertly, on the Net, and that program runs, to this day. I left in 2000, and met tons of X's and Critics who were exposing them. In 08 Anonymous arrived, and ALL continue to help in their own ways. :)

  • @ToryMagoo44 Cool. Obviously as you can see I genuinely didn't know that. Currently all I hear about involving scientology is Anonymous.

  • @ToryMagoo44

It's all about speaking out and letting the world know how an Organisation has worked over the last 50+ years. Legitimacy via money does not work so well these days . Look at the recent news from the UK this Friday Tory and let others know that politics thrives on public support and opinion.

  • Even though I am what you would call gay, I believe in the bible and it says it is a sin, just like adultery. It only goes to show that man was BORN into original sin. No matter how righteous we are we ALL fall short of God's perfection in one way or another. That is why Jesus came and died. There is nothing we can do to earn our salvation. By grace through faith alone we are saved, not by works. BTW Tommy Davis is "on the bus" even though at the back...

  • @ValerieBarlow Well, although I disagree with you fully, I respect your right

to believe what you so choose. We'll see, once we actually die, what REALLY

happens...be it just as the Bible, sort of like the Bible, not like the Bible at all,

or nothing, period. There are many possibilities. You see one....good luck with that. :)

  • I beleive that god created us as we are, as individuals, because every single living being has an impact on the future of the world. as far as sexual preference, we can't just choose what gender we are attracted to, so we does it have to be sin. Your friend seems like a kind, honest person and that is why he is surrounded by angels. Everyone has a gaurdian angel. I'm not trying to force my beliefs on anyone, I'm just saying what I believe. Have a nice day.

  • @Greerthetis1 It isn't a sin---that's the point! It's just weirdo, homophobic people who randomly decide THIS is what God means. Who the Hell knows what God means? I know for me, when I was very young, I decided when the Catholic minister was screaming at us: "Jesus Christ died for YOUR sins"...I thought: "BS! No God *I* believe in would talk to me that way, constantly putting us down". Putting people down is about as far from any concept of God as one can get, imnsho. :)

  • @ToryMagoo44

The same people whom push that one biblical law, ignore the vast majority of the rest of the 612. They themselves ignore the non-specificity of that law in favor of being a hypocritical buffoon on a high horse.

Those folks seem to think their beliefs are "perfect, like the bible" , whereas in reality they are throwing stones from a glass house.

  • It's possible Tommy Davis and the COB are homosexuals. Their 'spirit" comes across this way. BTW, I'm not judging them and if it's true it wouldn't make a difference, but i wonder what LRH would think.

  • @DEREKinNYC All the homosexuals I've met are WAY smarter, funnier,

and certainly more spiritual than Tommy -the-ultimate-moron and his side kick

Davey the dog MISScavige. What would LRH think? Who cares? Due to all of his own homophobia---I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't a closet gay, himself. :)

  • @ToryMagoo44

Well, LRH said many things that wouldn't be politically correct. I just assume he is a product of his generation. I remember reading about one of his sons being gay and committing suicide. This was the one he had been grooming to take over the organization after he died. I suspect he wasn't that anti gay. The COB, on the other hand, is rampantly hostile toward gays and that is what makes me suspicious.

  • @ToryMagoo44 I appreciate your open viewpoint, but homosexuals are people with a whole range of characteristics. Is it not possible for Tommy Davis to just be a homosexual that happens to be extremely passive aggressive and the COB being a homosexual who happens to be a sadistic narcissist?

  • @DEREKinNYC Sure, that's possible---but here's my view: They're both *nuts* (no matter what their sexual pref's are)---so why slam them in with all gays, as if they're horrible (which they are) so they must be gay? That's how it reads to me. They're abusive, Creepy, liars...those are the FACTS. Ok, and sadistic narcissists. Ya, one with a very lovely Mom, who cannot see the walls. She (and All "celebrities "in") help The Scio-Truman show roll on!

  • god is the One who wills Mercy and good for all creation, at all times, He pours upon all creation infinite bounties. Love you site, it is great! keep it up, please.

  • Tory you are a wonderful woman.I am soo glad you stay strong though all this.Oh my friend called Narconon-they wanted 20 grand for 60 days !!!! Wow, then he brought up hubberd and Xenu. They hung up on him hahahah

  • Perhaps the people to whom you refer didn't get the memo on 2nd Dynamic rules?

Also, Hubbard seemed a bit more 'accepting' (than in SoS) in one lecture from the SoM congress where he talks about cross dressing, and, in my interpretation, indirectly about homosexuality/bisexuality.

But then, who cares what another being accepts or doesn't accept as long as they don't try to enforce it on others à la Westboro Baptist Church?

  • @ElectroPaganAnon Which "memo" was that? If Hubbard was so accepting,

why did he label people as such? You may think "Who cares"--but having lived

through their labeling, it's horrific and C of S's abuses DO enforce very bad things

on others....thus this video---thus the pickets.

  • I can't wait until I am old enough to go to protests.

  • @quadbone Well, meantime you can do a *ton* of good by just passing the link around to your friends, and just on the net, so less and less people get suckered "in", and more and more people get educated about this insidious CULT. :)

  • @ToryMagoo44 I do have Whyweprotest on my myspace and facebook, but I will start passing around the links to your and Mark's channel around.

  • Have an excellent protest.

  • It's true, "the gay" was part of my case. And when I left they outed me to my family, my employer and what few friends I still had.

  • @bagelboi66 #

Jeesh! Well, now you have a whole world full of real friends, just like me :) :)

Being gay has nothing to do with "Case" (Scientology's term for your mental problems their 'tech' can fix--with *lots* of money), just FYI in case that's still

swimming around. It's just one of hundreds of Hubbard's tricks to make one feel like you're not whole, and thus need their routines.

    Thanks, Slappy--will do :) :)
