  • Wow man your blocking all air flow with each shelf let alone time and materials

  • "logs won't dry against a wall"... As long as it gets enough sun and wind they'll dry just fine.

I'm guessing the logs are for burning from what I can make out at in the background, and in that case don't worry about checking, just get them dry and get them burned. I know you turn though so forget this paragraph if they are for that. ;)

Also considering it's for drying I'd take out the shelves, replace and the bottom one only with slats for airflow and stack more wood than you can currently.

  • I think you did a really nice job...

  • them shelves is a waste of space....wood will dry fine if them just lay on top of each others.

  • You look like that Dude from the Hangover. Nice drying rack.

  • The shelves are unneccessary wood will not dry against wall! Nice job otherwise!

  • Drill some holes in the plywood for drainage and air circulation.

  • While this looks nice....your wood will not dry as fast placed up against a brick wall!

  • @HiramMaxim - Well, true, but drying too fast can also cause bad checking in the wood.

  • this is dumb it wont teach me any thing

    !

    (:

  • You is fast:_)

    Nice shelve..cheers from Austria
