Your failure to see the fallacious logic in your argument that not having a flu vaccine should, if the science is correct, guarantee infection is staggering. For hundreds of thousands of years, the species survived the flu w/o vaccines. No1 denies that. But since the introduction of flu vaccines & modern medicine, flu infection & mortality has dramatically declined in those regions most protected, enhanced by herd immunity. The medical literature is extensive & more than compelling.

Unfortunately, when it comes to vaccines, choosing not to vaccinate doesn't just affect you but also puts at risk others who choose not to vaccinate, those w/ special health conditions preventing them from vaccinating even if they wanted to & even vaccinated populations bc, like condoms, vaccines aren't 100% effective. In 2010 alone 5 Calif. infants under 3-months died of the easily preventable pertussis bc those around them weren't vaccinated. So did 4-week-old Dana McCaffery.

Not only is quality control not suspicious or incriminating but it's a good thing. It doesn't just protect the manufacturer from being wiped out by every frivolous tort claim brought against them but it protects the public from being harmed in the first place.
