The sims 2 university Problem

same thing happend to me. I had to unintall nightlife and reinstall it. I lost all my cc and furni plus hack boxes + familes. Lukcily my fav disc game was fixed

everybody see this,I also figured out this problem.(its from me and I did it)If you have an another expansion pack click on that.The things in Sims 2 University things will still be in the expansion pack you just clicked.Hope it Helps XD

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT I FIGURED IT OUT!!!! YOU HAVE TO PUT IN THE LAST INSTALLED SIMS2 DISK FOR ME IT WAS SIMS 2 PETS SO I PUT IN THE SIMS 2 PETS CD AND I GOT ON SIMS 2 AND THE SIMS 2 UNIVERSITY WORKED FINE YOU JUST CANT USE THAT CD YOU JUST HAVE TO USE THE LAST INSTALLED GAME

If ur haven problems try download EA download manager and signing up and then in your purchased part it will say the sins 2 store edition which let's you play without your cd and play any game

I looked over and over, but, I didn't see The Sims 2 University. but, if I try to run

sims 2, but it says "You are running the wrong version of The Sims 2, please run

university" but, I uninstalled it, but, it still says it's still on my computer.

@theYTPmaster100 if u want to uninstall it the go to control panel at the start menu then click uninstall-a-program then just scroll down to find the file u want to uninstall click it then click uninstall

The same exact thing happened to me!! Here's what you do- just put in the last expansion disk you installed before you installed University, and it should work fine! Granted, it won't have the university loading screen with the funny "reticulating splines" thingys, but the rest will be fine :)

just look at the requirement and if you dont have a processor like pentium or upgrade you pc....

you can play inside the game

at least sims 2 university is just a expansion pack to play it on original sims 2 to play!!!

I know this was already answered, but I guess I couldn't help myself...I just HAD to answer...you go into SIms 2 Double Deluxe, and its there...just add a univeristy, because the link for Univeristy owon't run....just in the base game...I have Dbl Deluxe, University (and w/ Deluxe, I have Celebration, and Nightlife) and IKEA...but i'm selling IKEA..I don't like it.....

UGH! This happens to me too all the time. What I do is I just click on my Sims 2 Double Deluxe shortcut and use that disk, since Univercity stillworks evenif u use that disk to play :-)

if you've installed university then you should be able to go to double deluxe and play it, but it doesn't come with double deluxe, if thats what you mean... i'm having trouble installing mine, when i put in the 2nd disk for university then it stops installing at 68% i exchanged for a new game it still does it... does my computer need more memory???

yes you need more memory. when i was installing my game i had that problem. but i got more memory and it installed at 100%. did it help.

if you have anyother sims like freetime

insert the freetime disc and uni shud be there!

The exacted thing happened to me so i decided tp reinstall all of the expansions i had including apartment life after that it worked

I have every sims, and when I try to load something like university, that happens. My sims only works when I do apartment life. The point is, that if you have any other sims 2 games, try to upload sims from that, not university.

heh so you can open the game not break the wraper install the game and then put it back in the wraper and return it and get your money back ?! :D i hope so

Here is a tip if you have sims 2 double deluxe then click that and when you go to towns click a random town then where there is the 3 squares there should be something that is briter than the rest it is for sims 2 university click it and there will be three u iversity pick one and you can play

um, that happened to me also. I had to click on the previous expansion pack and the it works! I mean, you can still add the university in the previous expansion pack. It looks a bit messy here, hope that helps.
