@KrazyPilot422 There's a chip or something you have to take out of cb radio, then you have to replace it with another chip that you can take out of a toaster. It picks up higher frequencys that their headsets are set at. Go to the PLA's podcast and they have one that shows you how to do it.

Absolutely real, not faked in any way. Some friends did this. Tech types that went over to the "dark side". All in good fun through. The VHS of this sat on my shelf for 15 years. So happy that it's being enjoyed by others now. They also attacked a drive in movie theater complex that broadcast over FM radio. Mere child's play for these guys to hijack the place. One of these days I'll upload that also.

you get a two way radio and set it on scan and sit beside a drive thru until you hear them talking and taking orders, then you look at the frequency that it's on and turn it off of scan and put that frequency on until your hear the talking again. Then you can just butt into the conversation and mess with them.

You can buy radios on ebay that allow you to program in whatever frequency you want. No need to bother with silly methods, or modify anything. They are like $50 bucks. Look up VHF handheld radio and do a search.

Several drive-thru's use frequencies either in the 30MHz range, 150MHz range, 450MHz range, or even higher. They also use FM (for the most part).

You can buy an amateur radio and modify it which will allow you to transmit from around 130-157MHz and 430-460MHz, which most likely would be in the spectrum of the drive-thru frequencies.

News flash - CB radio's use low frequencies, an AM modulation. %99.99 of companies out there have switched to higher frequencies and crisper FM modulation.

From what I was told, these guys had a very powerful transmitter that filled up the trunk of the car.Something on the order of a university radio station in terms of power. No CB radios here ! They were also doing a pirate radio station from a boat out past the 3 mile limit. All of this info comes from a friend who was one of them. I haven't seen him in about 10 years. No I wasn't one of them and I don't condone this activity but I do think it is quite humorous.

Yeah, I was replying to the 73chevy350 guy, just letting him know to not modify his radios, and to not disassemble any heating electronics in his house searching for the Crystal. Yeah, I'm sure you can find a guide on how to modify a expensive radio and gain access to fast food employee's headsets. But why do that, when you could apply for a job, and get a headset like you mentioned :P. Much easier, and costs barley costs you anything.
