is it just me, or when they stopped hand drawing the cartoons and made them digitally instead, did they get less, wacky? like spongebob, now that the cartoons are made digitally the characters just seem so much more static. and then i watch freakazoid and think, man this guy just seems so alive and full of crazy energy in comparison. anyone else notice that?

well to honest, i did try to write a research paper on the decline of traditional forms of animation, but found that it really didn't work as a topic for a research topic, editorial sure, but not an 6 page research paper. it was depressing that i couldn't do something that really interests me. especially since watching old loony toons technically counted as "research." ;)
