Good video BUT, you need the Cavalry charge scene from near the end of "Excaliber" since it's like the original EPIC Cavalry charge. To the tune of "Oh Fortuna" no less. Who's with me?
You're lucky - yt disabled my audio in Return Of The King from Twilight & Shadow soundtrack which I combined with the best scenes from Mission To Mars, the alien scene. Not sure if it's the same movie because I've never watched either movie. I'm just into the music part. So anyway I ended up removing my video. What's the point in having a video w/o audio. You know...the way the American music industry is banning music is more like communist Russia than what we're told is banned over there.
Shame that they banned your video's audio. Much of the banning is ridiculous indeed, so much videos getting blocked for "copyright" nonsense.
Twilight & Shadow is a beautiful piece of music. Wonderful! I find the music in all three Lord of the Rings movies of incredible beauty. Very touching music.
If you have never watched LOTR, check them out my friend. They are my favourites movies by far.
Polish winged hussars was shaking all europe for over 200 years. and they didn't lost a single battle for over 125 years. Fighting against much more numeous enemy. They brought a russian tsar on the knees to polish king and they was ocupy moscow for 3 years, then polish king was hold the title of Tsar of russia for next 34 years. Latest movies related to that "Battle of Viena" "1612" "Taras Bulba" (last two are historical fiction they showing hitorical fact but from author point of view)
I movies, nothing can compare to The Riders of Rohan, Rohirrim! They are in great numbers, have horses standing 3,5 meter tall and are born on the horseback.
But I would really see a movie about the Monguls. Their army of riders is said to have been over a million. So far I've never seen a battle with the great hordes of mongul-riders!
@TNTnor, I agree for sheer numbers nothing beats the Asian war movies. also including a minor Roman cavalry charge from gladiator here seems too out of place when Alexander and many other epic films have better cavalry scenes from the Iron Age
@Warforged117, well done I agree. But, I was wondering not Alexander, Waterloo, Charge of the Light Brigade?. They are the films that made historical cavalry charges even more famous. Fantasy charges are fine still.
@Wolfen443 To true, but then there are only two movies about the Charge of the Light Brigade, both quite old and the first one quite historically inaccurate, albeit the second one was quite good. As for Waterloo and Alexander, a very good idea. How about Poitiers? or maybe The Battle of Vienna? Crecy? Do you know any movies containing those?
@Warforged117, the 1968 version of the Charge of the Light Brigade is clearly the more historically accurate one, but the one by Fynn in the 30's is a classic generally historical storytelling of the British military in Northern India as well. There are films made in Europe about those battles too. I know that the battyle of Vienna has being made to film, I am not sure about the other two.

why is it so hard to just find the charge at Kerak with original sound?
I CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE!

A lot of people today will say that the horse and rider are meaningless in combat. That is bullshit on quite a few levels.

@Vovk3 how are they not meaningless in combat today?
