  • Oh it's good

  • Tom Jones an old Teddy Boy and a good old boy

  • great music!

  • off course I love

  • music was so fucking good then!

  • tom jones is good but little richard completely owns this song! he's the best singer ever!

  • That was real Music!

    SOOOOO Good

  • Two of my all-time favorites - they're both in their 70's now - and still going strong!!

  • ouahhhhh my 20 years......:!!!!

  • Just LOVE this!!! Right to my soul....

  • when is it?

  • guys on white ,amazing duet ,the best duet ever!

  • tom jones may be white but in this he got soul.

  • CHECK IT OUT!! SEAN GALE playing SEND ME SOME LOVIN'!!

  • RIchard sets the bar, and for once Tom gets legitimately infected and sounds good.

  • Elvis was the King of Rock n Roll. But in the late 60s and early 70s, Tom was tops!

Elvis envied Tom - part of the reason Elvis sang Green, Green Grass of Home.

  • @LittleDragon2000 yeah and little richard started it before them

  • Theres not a better singer on the planet than Little Richard, bar none. Nobody is even in the same universe as that guy, even to this day.

  • Dieses Duet ist einmalig gut ! Beide sind fantastisch, absolut der Beste ist Sir Tom!

Keiner hat so eine vielseitige Stimme, egal was er singt, er singt es immer so das es perfekt ist. So ist nun einmal

  • nobody sings like Little Richard ! Tom Jones deserves credit for great singing and for hosting and dueting

  • @glamourennui lol I know, I was like wtf with his hair other than that I like their singing

  • Tom fühlt den Sound!!! Das ist einmalig

  • I think they were both impressed with each other!!

  • Tom Jones = The COOLEST man on earth!

  • And who do we have to entertain us today - a bunch of rank amateurs!!!!!!!

  • @gdwmontg Little Richard is a rank amateur?

  • @theactordavidbath I don't mean that Little Richard is a rank amateur. I only mean that I miss great entertainers like Tom and Richard who really entertained us years ago. The rank amateurs of today would include the people that appear on "train wreck" programming such as reality shows. I just have a low opinion of them.

  • @gdwmontg Ah, I see. Yeah, I don't mind a bit of train wreck tv being about, but an American friend of mine was watching American Idol avidly and I when I told him it was rubbish, he said "I think this is what people listen to these days"! I was so sad! There's still a lot of great musicians about and people have that kind of rubbish shoved in their faces. Boooo.

  • @theactordavidbath He is a great musician!

  • Tom Jones,Got crazy swagger.Pretty fly for a white guy!!

  • sentymentalna muza ,BRAWO!!!

  • @niewinny56 Did Sam Cooke sing this song originally? Does anyone know?

  • OMG. OH MY. Wish we had a time machine.

  • FANTASTIC!!!!JUST FANTASTIC. TWO GIANTS PERFORMING. SURPASSED THE RATING SCALE ha! ha! What voices, really this makes my day. Their voices can make anyone smile. THANKS

  • Love this combo - When I die and go to heaven I can say I was already there when I saw both Little Richard and Tom Jones in person (both in Vegas, and separately). They were both older but had lost none of this magic!!!!

  • his voice is an extra league.none is so versatile as he, and still down to earth and that is rare in the job. Thanks

  • just awesome

  • Peanut butter and Jelly!! I love this!

  • Like Super1652 said: Hammer Stimmen.

I don't know what it means, but it sounds like a good description of this awesome cover.

  • king of rock n roll

  • LOVE LIL RICHARD

  • Yes, is so cool !!!! Great

  • bra låt

    bra sångare

  • Das ist ein Knaller, Tom Jones und Little Richard!!!Hammer Stimmen!!Legenden.Yeah

  • YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

  • This duet performance is the bomb.

  • ¡¡BRILLANTE!!! DUETO¡¡

  • I know, wow. I really didn't know Tom could sing like that but then he's pre-my era since I'm 23. (don't let it fool you though most of my musical background is pre-my life lol)

  • Couldn't agree more, with the exception of James Hunter, who you may enjoy if you are not familiar already.

  • Tom Jones .. the only singer on earth that can keep up with littllr richard.

  • This kind of tallent is not on a different planet but its in another universe from the absolute crap we have to put with today

  • I can´t believe how Richard sings!

  • sweet lovin

  • Perfect, what a smart combo. I love it. Just beautiful. CAN'T BE BEAT.

  • Tom Jones wisely had Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis on his TV show. And we all know his friendship with Elvis. So cool, that they chose to do this relatively underrated classic.

  • Helemaal goed. Kan ik hier een kopie van krijgen?

  • They sound great..and Tom..what eye candy!

  • Shame he was gay..

    Another "rock " sucker

  • WOW ! Amazing ! This is becoming one of my all-time-favorites. Thank´s for posting it.

  • very good old and i think rare oldie

  • what a double act

  • ¡IMPRESIONANTE¡ poder ver grandes cantantes.

  • the two of these guys are a great act, they should go on tour, would be awesome.

  • "watch your mouth, your language is pretty ugly.Actualy it sounds very agressive, maby you are the fascist" - dirk

Hey jackball, did get anything at all ? Think ya gotta go back to you "English for foreigners" class. Get some remedial help...LOL!!!

  • "man, where u from? Mars? Tom Jones is good, but little richard is another galaxy" - Dirk

FU&% YEAH!!!! The "originay-ta", the architect, the unsung king, the original rock n roll rebel!!!

See that dude playing the piana right there ? That`s the kernel, the original DNA, the dude that got the SH%$ rollin, the Tommy Jefferson of our glorious rock n roll revolution mofos!!!! If that SH%$ don getcha toe tappin, you`re either a Nazi or clinically dead (same FU&%IN` thing).

  • Little Richard in my opinion is much more dynamic than most of the singers out there .. Only people that can stand close are Elvis, Ray, Aretha Franklin, Robert Plant, Charlie Brown, Michael Jackson, and theres more but he is the most animated still....

  • Elvis doesn't belong in that group -- he's kinda lame by comparison.

  • Elvis was a very outstanding singer .. he had a very distinctic style that is so memorable and unique... I think you are underestimating him.. He is considered the king and he will be remembered forever...

  • laaaaame. Elvis had his merits- he was pretty, and soulful, but I find his style very affected and insincere (some of his stuff I love don't get me wrong), and he doesn't belong with the greats.

  • @universalradio

Have you heard anything other than the Girl happy and Spinout soundtracks?

  • i agree 100% , i like fast paced rock n' roll listen to little richard all the time, elvis is good for a song or two but not close in abiltiy to LR, not to mention what LR could do on the piano.

  • totally man

  • @universalradio

Elvis' range from bass to falsetto, in any genre, is outstanding.

Compare Jailhouse Rock with Love Me Tender with How Great Thou Art with Reconsider Baby. Who in that group could do that?

  • @ensconse I know Elvis range, tho Tom sang higher notes in his career, most of his ballads are by far higher than Elvis songs, just listen Ive Been Loving You Too Long, Tom hits sustained High D, which is 2 notes higher than Elvis ever hit. But yes i am also Elvis fan... He was something that mankind will never see again. But just little fact that Tom could have been one of the greatest singers in opera, but he refused training, it was big shock to his Soprano who checked him early on his career

  • @Tsirjones Tom is one of the best singers of all time. Elvis had many voices and had the alltime X-factor. That makes Him the best i think.

  • @Tsirjones

Tom Jones had a more powerful upper range and he could sustain with great vibrato.

But Elvis had a great *voice*, meaning he could do more with it, and he could inject different feelings and different moods. Tom's approach is somewhat monotonous - he sings blues or ballads, etc., it's reallthe same sound.

Play Elvis' Tonight Is So Right For Love, then One Night ('50s rec.), then That's Someone You Never Forget. Tom. TJ would make them all sound like Delilah.

  • @ensconse That's absolutely true! Compare Jailhouse rock and Blue suede shoes, don´t be cruel an heartbreak hotel, love me tender and are you lonesome tonight, teddy bear and one night with you. And then It´s now or never and suspicious minds. All the songs with a different voice, but...it´s the same person: Elvis.

  • great video, both are great!

  • And you know what ,He should be the King! Try to dig more about him, his songs. you'll know what I mean! ..Just be objective!

How come you don't know? you must be from Pluto right?very far from earth? well, maybe it's about taste. and you can not argue in terms of taste!....Some people have simply .... Poor Taste! (sigh)

  • Yes my friend I Am from mars ,I guess, coz it's a bit closed to earth, that's why I know whose the greatest, the best and the number one beyond comparison singer in the whole world ....Tom Jones.

  • not diggintom jones as much here

  • little richard and tom jones nice real nice enjoy this music thank you for posting t.j. &l.r. g.r.w.

  • Positively magnificent video!!!! Both men are fantastic!! Thank you so much for posting this.

  • MUY BUENO!

  • TJ the best!

Little richard has good voice too..

  • Sure tom was great....just hasn't got the soul that richard has.

  • Bah.. I like them both, Tom is really a real blue eyed soul!

Tom still is the greatest, singing like always!

  • yeah little rihard put so much soul in all oh his songs! he's a true real hardcore rock and roller!! he is the best when it comes to r & r!

  • What??? What the heck are you thinking? little Richard is just little indeed compared to Tom..

  • little richard is dynamic...i am sure Tom would agree with that himself!!

  • What???? tom hasn't got the soul that richard has? UH!UH!UH!UH! excuse me,

What the heck are you thinking?????little richard himself!! will disagree with you, Am sure with that! to compare Tom Jones with little richard is a great insult and degrading, Tom Jones is beyond compare..Listen to the songs of Tom Jones please, you'll know what I mean!Just be Objective! You'll change your mind!

  • @Tsirjones

TJ is basically imitating LR here. Richard was enormous influence on Tom - the power, the phrasing. Jones would watch Richard sing "I Believe" in Las Vegas and freak out!

  • @Tsirjones

    TJ OBVIOUSLY COPIES LR!

  • @ensconse You mean he was influenced by LR or he is copying there is big difference between copy and influence... Tho i can say for you now that LR wasnt that important influence on him... If you mean copy, you are wrong.

  • @Tsirjones

Copy *and* influence. TJ took alot of LR's style: most noteably, his phrasing: esp. on TJ's first album IT'S NOT UNUSUAL - you can hear how he must have devoured the LR album LR IS BACK - & THERE'S A WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN' GOIN' ON -play LR's Lawdy Miss Clawdy & Cherry Red then play I Need Your Lovin', The Skye-Boat Song, etc. by Jones.

Did U know Jones cut LR's Bama Lama Bama Loo & Long Tall Sally? On his TV Show Jones also did Lucille and LR's arrangement of Don't Fight It.

  • @ensconse His biggest influence was Jerry Lee Lewis, Frankie Laine etc, in his bios he never said LR as a influence, yes he was, but still not as much, and Elvis also copied LR then?

  • @Tsirjones

Elvis borrowed a little Richard on A Big Hunk O' Love and maybe a few others. Elvis sang 3 LR songs on TV ( Tutti Frutti twice & ready Teddy) and recorded 4 LR's in 1956!! His second RCA album had 3 LR songs! Long Tall Sally was a set-piece, in the '50s and '70s.

  • @ensconse I know, but still copying is far from that, or this... I mean its great when good singers are making covers.

  • @Tsirjones richard is the best

  • Little Richard had one if the most dynamic voices in popular..far better than Elvis

  • I only can adorn when Little Richard sings! Little Richard is plenary The King of Rock And Roll. Elvis can singing but he is not Little Richard!
