This is a great video but I'm a beginner and I need things broken down and to me this is more of a song cover rather than a tutorial. I was dissapointed when this was the only video I could find for a tutorial on such a simple song because I can't learn this fast. But when i get better I will definetly check out your videos :)

for beginners you can use a Capo on the 3rd Fret so when you get ready to strum the chorus high E string you don't have to stretch out your fingers that much

yay! this will be the first song iam learning on my gutar. i was up all night and i got the first verse down. but it is hard for me to remember the pattern my right hand should be strumming, esspecially if i sing while playing.... lol very pretty song!

if it is your first then I suggest you do something like sing abc's or 123 when you just start. That's what I did and my teacher tells me that it helps so you can sing and play at the same time without making lots of mistakes.:P

chords are super easy... basically D Em7 and G, with alternating variations on the Em7 at different parts in the song, just watch his fingers it's obvious(sorry, i call them variations of Em7 because i'm terrible with chord names).

then the part in the song where it goes up and down are the same chords just slide your pinky to the fifth fret, back to the third then change up ur fingers to hit the second fret... all along the E string, of course.
