Yup! As stated in the book, the title isn't so much a reference to actual Collectors-type routines as it is a tribute to the effect 'Collectors' from Dan and Dave Buck's Nursery Rhymes Vol. 1 :)

I don't understand what this is supposed to be; it doesn't follow the collectors plot. The whole point of Collectors is that a previously introduced four of a kind finds three selections in a magical way.

This is just a flourish-y revelation of seven cards, four of which have nothing to do with the trick.

Don't get me wrong, it's very pretty, I just don't understand it.

True. This was mostly inspired by Dan and Dave's 'Collectors' routine from their Nursery Rhymes lecture notes, which has them find three selections by finding the aces at the same time. So it's not as close to the original Collectors plot as the name would perhaps suggest, but more a reference to the effect by the Bucks.
