The fisherman who sold him to me told me to pull a flap down on his chest and skewer him. I did that before I dropped him in. 2) Get water REALLY hot first (rolling boil).
3) Have a big pot (like stew pot size)
4) Don't bother to try knocking it out - they get pissed more easily than they get stunned, Just sling them in and stick a lid on. They die quickly afterwards.
All this being said, I now fancy crab for dinner. :)
