if you sell your xbox 360 at gamespot you only get about 80 bucks and 70 with a wired controller so....it isnt worth alot so make sure to sell more stuff lol
I agree with smoshfan. PS3 and 360 both have beautiful exclusives, but the Wii is just an utter failure, but hopefully Dead Space Extraction will be pretty good! I still believe that an amazing gaming PC kicks the shit out of the same game on the 360 or PS3, but seeing as the gaming scene is moving over to the consoles, a PC might not be too useful. The new CryEngine 3 is even on consoles! That is just fucking ridiculous, but every single gaming machine has their own beautiful exculsive games.

no you build your own computer with good stuff you can buy off ebay for tons less money like radeon hd 4870x2 for less than 150 dollars on ebay if you look for it that would cost around 300 dollars in a store.
my computer can take anything the industry wil throw out for 5 or 6 years and it was 1500, personally i dont think you know exactly what you're talkign about. Of course laptops are expensive, you're trying to put 20 lbs of electrical components into a space a tenth of the size of a tower, not to mention the components can't drain too much power at once since you're dependent on a battery, a good gaming PC costs 800-2k$
800$ is not that expensive, it is WAAAAAY more cost effective than getting an xbox or a PS3, and there are more games for the PC than all the new consoles combined and there are still PC only releases that ARE NOT on the consoles, besides if you look at all the "hits" that come out for consoles most of them are likewise on PC, boohoo if i dont get the 10 good PS3 games i cant get for PC, id rather get my monies worth and play the other thousand good games out there
and there are way more games on the pc, but it isnt about quantity but quallity..the majority of those games arent anything amazing..and alot of the good games on pc are mmos..which you have to pay fees for monthly..sony is trying to set a new trend where ps3 mmos wont have monthly fees, thats another advantage point on why i'd rather have a console..800 bucks can get a you console and 5-10 great games..that there speaks for itself..

Total war is a RTS and an empire building game in one it has won awards for every game that they put out. empire total war is the latest. in empire total war you can field thousands of units as once.

have you seen the controls they released for the computer already? the one that reads muscle responses in the face and eye movement? its not a camera or infrared sensor, you put it on your forehead and it picks up on muscle movements like jaw clenching and eay movement to the left and right, natal is supposed to pick up minute facial movements as well, you want to look left or right, turn your head slightly or flick your eyes left

I know dear god! I own a 360, and a PSP... I like PS3's but I prefer 360 which is why I bought it. I love my PSP, all the nintendo products were pretty much made for either adults or younger kids, in my opinion, and so I do not own any of the nintendo consoles. Well PS3 seems to have a bad lag issue when I play on PSN (YES! I finally got myself a PS3 :)) which doesn't happen so often when I play on 360.
Still it's free (PSN not PS3 of course ;p) so if you can live with lags its pretty entertaining. Only other problem is the fact that its sometimes hard to find someone to play with.

? really, when i play games i want to have fun, if i've been working all day i want to relax but if i really want to relax ill veg out and watch some tv or go swimming, not all gamers are lazy people who just want to sit there, being part of the action past our hands is a thrilling prospect, much like i enjoy playing wii sports, is it exercise? well if you dont do anything else i guess it is lol

no i dont consider the wii an excercise only the wii fit game..lol cuz in that game youre using your whole body, just like how natal's gonna make you use your whole body..in wii games you can just move ur hand alittle while youre sittting and the motion senser will still detect it..so no, it is nothing like excercise except for wiifit like i mentioned earlier..

nice random comment about the wii and zelda, listen games are being taken in a new direction, with natal the 360 is going to have a whole new range of games and a wider audience, this new control system might very well destroy the wii and gain HUGE market shares for microsoft. personally i think it's going to be fantastic, though the thought of microsoft becoming a monopoly again is a little daunting, but all things in due time XD

like i said natal will work great with some games but totally fail with others, and that would just be the same thing as wii boxing but just with better graphics..all im saying is once natal comes out, you better hope they dont drop the 360 like they did with the original xbox..its already seeming like that, theyve been working on natal so much that this year their numbers in exclusives have dropped way down compared to the ps3 and even the wii

except it would use your entire body not just your arms lol, so basically it would be nothing like wii boxing, which has very vague and unresponsive controls. It's a control system smart guy, they aren't going to create an entire new console and reformat EVERYTHING just to add new controls? do you have any concept of how much money that takes? when all they have to do is either sell the natal separately or start selling a new version of the 360 with natal built in

but it wouldnt make any sense at all to create a new system, and you know that separate companies create most of th games on the xbox right? then exclusively sell it for the xbox? microsoft doesnt really need to be a part of that. besides if they finish natal by 2010 christmas season they can take a huge chunk out of wii, possibly kill it.

Well hardcore by certain standards. i mean the game was really easy lol, if you mean not geared towards five year olds and people who aren't really gamers, then yeah i guess its hard core. the wii found a market it wouldn't have to compete in so they are running with it, they still release a few games for people like us, mad world, no more heroes, masamura, etc. but it definitely isn't enough to keep us buying i agree lol

yea, natal is a gimmick, i cant see it working for any hardcore game..for example fable..when you turn around to look behind you, wont see the tv screen..then theres like rolling abilties and swtiching between magic, without a controller natal is an epic failure towards hardcore gaming..

and im sure you could create sensors that pick up muscle responses in the legs too, just a matter of programming really, believe me, i think we are getting closer to VR than ever before, if we create sensors that are intricate enough to pick up all our neural responses we wont have to do anything but sit and play lol, and think, which in all reality would probably be the most stimulating activity most people get since few people read anymore :'(

I know dear god! I own a 360, and a PSP... I like PS3's but I prefer 360 which is why I bought it. I love my PSP, all the nintendo products were pretty much made for either adults or younger kids, in my opinion, and so I do not own any of the nintendo consoles. I just wish this whole console war would end.

that the original xbox lasted for 4 years and my point is that with all the updates in game and the consoles devs can make their games last longer then before you can look at PC games for example like quake CS and star craft those games came out in the late 90's but people still play them like crazy

except for the wii's controls have lag time and looking at the gameplay videos for the natal the sensor is pretty quick to pick up movement, which means this would be a wii killer, besides im pretty sure microsoft would also keep up the 360, or keep the controller and the same games, and if its a new system, not only will it knock the wii out but will also boost microsofts revenues through the roof, can you imagine playing a first person shooter on it?

ps3 has little to no game selection, and has lost many of tehir "exclusives" to the 360, the wii is outselling both the ps3 and 360... so really, niether the 360 nor the Wii suck, its just the ps3.

true...Ps3 only has ratchet and clank,killzone 2,unchated,lbp,mgs4,wipeout,infamous,resistance 1 and 2,and the motorstorm games...And the lineup its confirm getting is uncharted 2,heavy rain,god of war 3,ratchet and clank future 2,MAG,ninja gaiden 2 sigma..There are 31 in all but i only can think of these...
While 360 has fable 2,gears of war 1 and 2,halo 3,left 4 dead,mass effect..And its gonna get alan wake,halo reach,halo odst..There are more but i forgot them..

I mean just because uncharted utilises something that gears 1 tried successfully doesn't mean it's a rip off. Well PS3 seems to have a bad lag issue when I play on PSN (YES! I finally got myself a PS3 :)) which doesn't happen so often when I play on 360.
Still it's free (PSN not PS3 of course ;p) so if you can live with lags its pretty entertaining. Only other problem is the fact that its sometimes hard to find someone to play with.
