Oh, no! They were very lucky with their score. I´d put them even behind Faiella and Scali. I think they can skate so much better than this but this just wasn´t their time.
The intro. and ending looked ridiculous. The lift at the beginning was completely unnecessary, they were supposed to use the first few messure of the music to set the mood and essence of the Paso Doble. A low score proved it.
That was one of the weirdest Paso Doble CDs I've ever seen, and not in a good way. Including acrobatics was not the way to go, and they lacked speed as well.
I would have had Pechalat/Bourzat ahead them actually.
I agree, the "free" elements were just completely out of place. I understand that they like acrobatics and they like showing off their abilities, but sometimes it's just not appropriate :D
That final move of theirs (I apologize for not knowing how to describe it lol, I'm still a newbie at ice dance) is actually from their 06/07 Tango OD. I didn't think it fit then either lol.
K/N's strength over DomShabs has been their ability to sell the performance and draw the viewers into the mood they create. This failed to do so, and so it's understandable why they are behind the top 4 teams IMO.
I'm not sure the move has a name (I would know the steps of the CD but not the free elements which are... free so I don't know if they have a name!) Looks a bit like a spin or a spiral... Yes I think they failed to create the appropriate mood for the Paso especially. A CD I think is supposed to show the "spirit" of the dance and in this performance they did not seem to grasp the essence of the dance...
Okay. . . Sergei's costume looks too sexy and very revealing. Also, he looks like he's ready for "Mayonaka no Shadow Boy'". I thought this was supposed to be a paso doble. The dance didn't really cling to me. I'm sorry guys but your dance was not good in my standards.

i agree about the clothes...and the mood.
they were veryyy nervous its noticeble..

actually the majority of judges had Davis & White 5th place or lower in the CD.
