if you mix the nail polish with sodium chlorate then put it on the string or yarn then let it dry it will be self oxidising

Guys, if you want to make a way better fuse than that shit, just get about 25 matches, and a 1x4 pice of tin foil. then crush the match heads into a fine powder, fold the tin foil in halve, pour the match powder in the crease evenly, then squish fold and twist it into a fuse, its water proof and self oxidizing. hope that helps.

one thing about fusses is that they can burn without oxygen because they are self oxydizing, in other words this wouldnt work on anything but a pile of gunpowder, if you were to try to use this in a firecracker it would immeadtly go out at soon as it ran into a place where there was no oxygen.

you just literally drop the string in a bowl of nailpolish then pull it out and let it sit on a papertowel or anything it can lay on to dry and then you can cut it to any legnth you want
