People hate/love the qualities in other people. People generally love truth, humility, justice, kindness and therefore like people who possess these qualities.
People generally do not like falsehood, arrogance, injustice, cruelty and do not like people who express these qualities.
people can change. therefore one who was dis-liked because of his arrogance can be loved if he gives up his arrogance.
thanks eric for pointing that out. I didn't know about it. I will edit the video in the weekend, and update it here. Sorry if this made any of you feel uncomfortable.
@suryom I thought you were going to edit the offensive Christ on a cross image out image out of video. But it's still there. Please put in a positive image of Christ, not something created by someone with no respect for Him. Thanks.
Do you also have the song " Prabhujee Daya Karo" from the same album Chants of India of Ravi Shankar with you? Could you please post that for me or send me an mp3 of it? Thanks Amit

they are hindus. There are the ones whoe are really orthodox, and then there are those whor accept one and all. what i meant by i'm not a hindu, i meant that not only am i hindu, but i'm everything.
1-; um...no. not at all. like i said, i believe in all, i worsip all forms of god, no matter what religion. By the way, not to start a fight or any thing, but what makes you think that i am against other hindus, budhist, sikhs muslims, etc etc? did you read my other posted comments before asking this question? and further more, if i renounce one thing, it doesnt mean that i am against another, or what i have renounced. it could mean something as simple as my point of view
2-; was broadened or changed in a way that would be wholistic. it doesnt mean that i am against any one, nor their beliefs, as a matter of fact, its a culminating view. hope that this clears things up.
Jesus said "Thou shall not Kill". now it is up to the followers of Christ to abide by this rule. Thou shall not kil doesnot just refer to human beings as many Christians want to believe. It refers to all types of life in general. Even Plants. but killing of plants incur much less karma. But to rid it of karma all together, we shall offer food(vegetarian) to Krsna as per Bhagavad Gita or do specific Vedic Mantra, then Food becomes prasad and therefore we do not eat sin.
There is no such thing as sin in the Hindu ideology. That is Judeo-Christian, but you are right about the offering of the foods to the gods before consumption. This same practice can be seen in many other cultures around the world in different times of history.
The beauty of HINDUISM is that it is most flexible religion available to date. It allows you to accept or reject the logic. The inclusiveness is its uniqueness. sarve bhavantu sukhinaha
@jkanthtl Hello! You say that Christianity ask followers to eat cow meat. As a Christian, I must tell you that you are miss-informed. Christians are not obligated / asked to eat cow meat. But they are free to eat whatever they wont or they choose. Some of them choose from time to time to consume cow meat and they don't see anything wrong in this for the simple reason that in Christian theology there is nothing similar to the Hindus Holly Cow. So, is logical, if an animal isn't sacred, is edible.
it's always good to see how Hinduism respects all the teachers like Jesus and Buddha, I think Gandhi once said"Hinduism has room for Jesus, Mohammed(that's a bit hard I guess in Sufi form), Buddha and the rest?)where can I get the jesus and krishna photo? namaste

This is a Shloka that is recited at the beginning of any group study or activity: OOOM
Sahana vavathu, Sahanau bhunakthu,
Sahaveeryam karavavahai,
Tejaswi Navadhithamasthu ma Vidhvisavahai.
OM shanthi ,shanthi, shantiheee.
Meaning:
Together we shall grow , Together we shall experience,
Valorous we will be, radiating an intellectual brilliance,
With Mutual understanding, with no conflict, we will be.

Part of being Hindu is acceptance. We are all one, and come to realization at our own time. Calm, Peace, Love, Joy to all

Why not ? Being a Hindu is about cherishing the soil the lands our forefathers settled in, Bharat.
If you are being a Sanatanist and renouncing being a Hindu that means you are against other Hindus; Sikhs and Buddhists.
