Wow! This was my first radio. I remember hearing a lot of great rock n'roll on this American made gem.

I'm sitting next to my Little Jewel right now. :) I remember thgis radio always being somewhere in the house when I was growing up. I turned it on when I was a kid and I thought it was broken...then I notied the amber glow getting brighter and brighter and out came the am voices and tunes. I thought it was so cool. I don't know the history of this little radio. Can you tell me a little about it?

Hey, he skipped over the Christian station. A miracle radio still works, shoulda given God some props. Hey, no kid today can understand why a radio took THAT LONG to warm up... Course with lotsa startup stuff & huge programs nowdays their computer takes longer to BOOT UP>

I wanted to get one for Christmas last year and the first time I saw one was on EBay. They have one at one of the Spangle's (local restaurant chain) and it turns out they are quite a bit smaller than I thought.

Vacuum tubes take a loooong time to warm up. Cool :)

Nice radio. It still receives full range of the AM band. The circuits are in good shape.
