If you have windows movie maker then do this: Open Windows Movie Maker Click Tools Options Click Advanced Tab Look Down at video properties and it should say B Video Format: NTSC PAL Aspect Ratio: 4:3 16:9 Click 16:9 And ok and your done! =D

actually this is not a perfect test vid,

it shakes too much, not many good shots, and it's too dark, bad for resolution,

but it's in Full HD with '&fmt=22' working, still kudos to you, lol

The widescreen was a terible idea, if it was optional not so bad, but its perminate and when you try to put a video up form youtube to other sites wether it be myspace, bebo, facebook w/e the vids wont work since they now HAVE to be in widescreen, so yeah this is one of your worst ideas yet youtube, make it optional not force -_-

many sites like Viddler, they show wide ones in wide screen, narrow ones in narrow screen,

What are you talking about? it hasn't 'mucked up' any videos, videos that arent in the wide screen format maintain their aspect ratios and don't lose any quality, the black bars beside videos are temporary, and not really harmful in the first place.
