Northug is Northug. Was this really such a surprise? He is a showboater. The Swedish press had been constructing a rivalry for weeks. Northug was being prodded that he would be dubbed "Null-thug" after the event because he would have null (zero) gold medals. They really wanted to rename a hill Hellner Hill after his sprint victory. Northug responds in kind with his skis.
