  • Love this version, one of the very best bands in 1930-31 as far as i am concerned!I never knew you had this

  • Until this moment I only knew the Chevalier version. But this is simply delightful, charming and I LOVE it! Great vocals, outstanding solos and a beautiful band sound.

  • Wonderful rendition of this great song.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Very pleasant version. These early Billy Cotton records, up to the end of his brief period on Columbia, are my favourites.

Sweet or hot, they are remarkable.

  • Also recorded on / issued on Columbia?.

  • The Columbia version was issued by Paul Whiteman. CB117.

  • Poor old Bill Cotton.1930 was not a good year for him.First he was removed from his residency at Ciros Club and Noble Sissle took his place. Then after that losing his entire brass section to Roy Fox.

  • And yet it was a truly GOLDEN year for British Dance Bands!.

  • Why can't I find needles for mine that don't degrade the record after a few playings? And the wood needles suck.
