Also Austin St. John held a grudge to Jason David Frank when JDF was named the leader when he became the White Ranger, aka 6th ranger. But when Austin St. John became the Gold Ranger, Jason David Frank was still the leader.

It's been over 15 years.  JDF doesn't act the way he used too, and I doubt Austin does either. They were just teenagers then. People mellow out as they age. I'm sure Austin didn't go totally nuts, but that doesn't make everything JDF said untrue.

Uh JDF had several reasons why he doesn't like him. He said Austin talks about being able break bricks with his hand and killed people in the ring and all that b/s. Stuff like that boils him, how ever JDF really hates the guy more than what he leads on. Austin in his interviews seems to be a lil less than what JDF describes. I think its more of JDF likes being the man ontop and Austin wasn't the type to be shown up. Two big egos clashing thats all.

That makes sense. But as a whole, character and all, I have always liked Austin St. John better than Jason Frank. I'm sure if the roles were reveresed, where JDF was the original red ranger and Austin St. John was the green ranger then white ranger, he'd be loved more than JDF. In "Forever Red", St. John should've been the leader cuz he was THE original red ranger, BUT, Tommy was elevated only cuz he has been with the franchise longer than any other red ranger and he was just lucky to be red too

super agreed bro, I am an Austin Fan. Jason was my favourite ranger next to Zack. if he was given the green ranger role or wasn't so picky about being paid more the result would be the same a JDF. Austin grew up and mellowed out but JDF has in interview called out Austin for a fight match. Oh and as for Forever Red, Jasons role was fine where it was but as the original he should have also taken command with tommy. JDF still gets my respect though to a degree. I just like Austin more.
