Am I the only the only one that can't really tell if he's lefty or righty? I love Korn and the original members but you have to be an ultra fanboi numb-ass to deny that Ray is a few hundred leagues above. I am wowed again.

aside from skills, a drummer should also look good while playing. i mean posture and grace. ( not stiff robots). shannon and ray are two drummers whos got it. but i guess ray is technically more skilled than shannon.

This dude has nothing on Ears. Ears saw this and began to laugh so hard that he passed a slight whiff of kitty gas.

I lit a match and it flamed the whole room as this video was playing. It created a purplish-blue flame that was trancendentally psychedelic.

I now use the effect when Ears is on stage playing a drum solo. The crowd erupts in laughter and joy!

Yeh i've tried out APX models in stores and they are surprisingly good. They're alot more affordable than AA's too. I'd go with APX ones if i was you.

Yea I've been struggling between the two but after considering my needs and along with advice off drum forums (plus the price) i went with the APX's. Got the 14" hats and a 20" crash for now. just waiting for them to come now :)

I did receive advice not to get the solid models though because apparently they are really thick and loose a bit of the musicality.

Without that subsonic bass it doesnt have the same effect. I don't particularly like his groove to the song to see it live. He seemed to suck the soul out of the song. He should have picked something different. I hope Korn can get back to some of their roots groove and expression with the new album. OH by the way, Cymbals sound great though.
