Excellent cover! I am really confused on how to read the tabs, nothing sounds right when I play it..Am I supposed read the bottom line first or the top, or zig zag?

@heavymetalging The E string is the thick one. It's like putting the bass arm on the tab. The thick string will be the bottom one.

Follow my playing, pause when you do not understand, also pay attention to my right hand.

The first riff is:

A string / 2nd fret -- G string / 4th fret -- D string / 4th fret -- A string / 2nd fret

E string / 2nd fret -- A string / open string (0) -- A string / 2nd fret -- D string / open -- A string / 2nd fret

Repeat that 4x...

I have a bass that I suck at playing, Half the time I play it I play this song and its the one I'm best at but it doesn't look like this. Somebody showed me how to play it but it looks different when you play it. How is that I'm making the same music playing different notes?

Many people prefer to play the 5th fret instead of the open string.

That's the same sound.

When drums start, you play the first riff 4x again.

When vocals start you play the first riff twice and go to the second riff.

@cursedswordsman No. It's a Cort GB-74. It's kinda like a Jazz Bass... But it has many settings, so you can set it up as a precision if you want, pass and active settings etc. It's an awesome bass for its cost.

This is one of the coolest "Money" vids I have seen - the clip from "The Wall" segues beautifully into the groove, played note perfect by the way with a good technique. I'm impressed with your individual use of your ring finger when playing the third note of the main riff (F#), I usually just barre with my little finger . Tabs and all, it is almost the complete product. It would look better if your let the strap out a notch or two, but hey, love your work. Just gotta love it. :)

@lucianodsb Então Luciano, eu te aconselho a trocar sim. Caso vc tenha mais grana e queira manter o Eagle, tudo bem. Mas por exemplo, esse baixo que uso é um Cort GB-74. É literalmente um tesão de baixo. E o preço varia em torno de R$ 1.500,00. Tem captação ativa e passiva, e uma variedade de tons. Faz um teste. Mas acho que contrabaixo é só testando mesmo, se gostar, compra. Abraço.

@EvilDudeoftheDead Depends on your price range. I have only been playing a few months and I got a Jazz Bass Squire starter kit for $300 and everything has worked fine so far. Squire is a sub-brand of Fender, it's cheaper and works great for beginers, but it isn't quite the quality of a Fender bass.

As I'm into pregressive rock, they are not so used.
