  • omg he does soooo much for back! talk about volume!! I tend to do HIT Dorian Yates style for back just like 3 or 4 working sets 1 working set per exercise and i'm fried after that!

    Anyway, What i Just said might be opinable. Not because it's wrong but just because I never trust much bodybuilding fad videos. They just put a lot of wrong ideas into newbie bodybuilders. Don't knwo if making all "how i feel today" workouts would actually work.

  • @WantOxide Hi want, I agree everyone has their way. I agree about listening to your body. Trusting fad videos or lack there of I also agree with. Especially with the information age, the internet and videos accessible at the click of a mouse and everyone has a opinion. With that being said I do not know if you work out or not. If you do I am curious weather or not you properly know how to do 1 rep properly of any given exercise. In short it is not how much weight you lift, its how you lift it.

That said, I'm not pro, I'm not god, but if you work out well, you can recognise it, and I can. Would like to know about you instead, mr talk-a-lot

What the conversation comes down to "I think" is either sloppy form and throwing weights around as seen in this video to exercise the ego or target the intended muscle being exercised with strict controlled form. For instance if your doing barbell curls and swinging the bar up and throwing your back into it as much or more then the bi's lifting the weight how much of the lift are your bis lifting? 50% ? As opposed to 100% being strict

For me I walked into the gym 6 months ago August 13th 2011 at 158lbs at 5'10" Today I am 211LBS that's a 53 pound gain and still gaining. And that comes drive, desire, determination, a vision of what I want to become,knowing how to work out, how often to work out, strict form, slow controlled reps, intensity, diet and rest.

  • @WantOxide In addition I have been training a 19 year old kid who has been lifting for about a year and could not gain. Hes been with me for 4 1/2 weeks lifting with me, lifting the right way, intensity, form, controlled slow reps, controlled negative reps since more muscle damage occurs on the negative's. He has since gained 11 1/2 lbs in a mere 4 1/2 weeks after not being able to gain for over a year. Ill match your 10 years of gains any day to my less then 6 months of gains and still gaining

  • Yeah bodybuilding in all respect but this guy seem to overdo it. Honestly his 5ft8 body frame with all this pack of muscles doesn't look good. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy one day instantly dies from a sudden heart attack/heart failue or something. It is, unfortunately, a very common thing happening among hard training bodybuilders, because they exaggerate their training to the very limit. Why is it that so many want to "become monsters" as they say? It doesn't look good, just gross.

  • @athadaelite yeah but Arnold Schwarzenegger did win his competitions by his looks. He stood 6ft2 and had good proportions. His rival Lou Ferrigno was taller and therefore also bigger at 6ft5 and he didn't win. It's just a matter of how you do your workouts and know your own body. If I were 5ft8 I would certainly not work out like hell just to get big as a "monster", because it doesn't look good honestly. Everyone could pack on alot of muscles, but yeah... to each his own I guess.

His definition was incredible the way it looked like his muscles were separate from his skeletal structure. As well Kai Greene looked a lot better than Jay but he'll never actually win olympia.
