@01denese possibly, but i am sure they made a good deal of money in the transaction. I havent watched the full episode so i dont know if they found a buyer by then for the items purchased from Jack. But i am confident that the items they received were worth more than the 12,000 or so for the Elephant head. Would they have walked away from this situation had the item been smaller, but equally valuable? all other things equal, i doubt it.

@leaxues well yes. But that album was released in 2007, roughly 4 years before the filming of this. So them being exposed to Jack White late may be sad, and saying he has been a fan since (at earliest) 2007 is also sad, it doesn't mean they don't like his genre or his style of music.
