im turning 17 this year and i hate it when my friends ridicule me for listening to the smiths and morrissey, and then get mad when i talk bad about Lady GaGa and that Dubstep crap...
@spaingano You don't like it when they laugh at your music and I'm sure they don't like it when you take the piss out of theirs. Don't get caught up in what other people do, enjoy yourself and let them enjoy themselves.
@JimGee1982 the only reason why i talk about their music is because they start it first, i have no problem with other peoples taste but it seems like they can't be open minded like me...
@spaingano friends are temporary anyway. just listen to as much smiths/morrisey as you like. you've got good taste and they don't. and then kick them in the nads.
@spaingano = your friends act that way because you scare them by being your own person, finding Music that appeals to You and not just because everyone else likes it.. don't worry about it, Your Real Friends accept you as you are and what You Enjoy....
@spaingano I'm turning 25 this year and I'm sick to shit of seeing peoples ages on youtube. We get it, you listen to slightly alternative music, but almost 1 million other people watched this video. You're not unique! Now listen to music and stop trying to justify it!!!! :)
@DookNun so does that mean your sick of yourself, cuz last i cheked you put down your age as well...and im not trying to justify shit, im trying to make it clear that morrissey and the smiths rules while new music sucks ass, now if you dont have anything nice to say listen to music and shut the fuck up...
@spaingano I'm not arguing with you as you don't have a side. My point was stop copying off everybody else with those "I'm 15 and I like this music" comments.
Oh and please don't put the inevitible Justin Bieber one that invariably follows.. :) No hate squire. xx
@DookNun i love it how i, a teenage, can get a so called adult, to take time out of his life (if you even have one) to argue with a kid, looks like your more of a kid for trying to justify your point to a "kid". God i love being young.
@spaingano We didn't have an argument, I was passing a comment on the fact that every single video on youtube has some idiot telling everyone else how old they are and that it's so strange how they listen to this music but nobody else does. Everybody else does, it's just the idiots who don't. Just come up with something original next time!
@DookNun did you not read my last comment, im past the argument comment, now im just laughing at how i can get an "adult" to continue to reply to my comments. you really dont have anything better to do, what a shame. how was that? original enough for you.
@DookNun if anyone, you need to look at your own comments and feel ashamed for having to go this far to get your point across to a teen. you reply to my comment with ridicule because your sick of seeing comments. If your sick of seeing these types of comments then get a life and get out of the house you shut in, get a girl or something and stop bothering a kid, you lame fuck...
@spaingano Again, look back on this in a couple of years. You're commenting on a music video... Incase you didn't notice, listening to music isn't sad or lame...
@DookNun your right but ridiculing and trying to sound all high and mighty towards a kids comment, yeah id call that lame, especially when your 25. And like i said, if your tired of seeing comments like mine then stick to just simply listening to the music and not going out of your way to read comments and comment on how your tired of this and that, you lame fuck...
@DookNun yeah i will, and ill see how dumb it was for an adult like me to actually take time out of his life to argue with a kid over something so trivial as a comment hahaha.
@spaingano your a tastsful child. remember your the one with taste in this matter...let them follow the machine...but you stick to what you like which sounds like GREAT CULTURED MUSIC. BRAVO sir!!!
@spaingano Good for you kid! Looks you're way too sophisticated for your friends when it comes to knowing good music there. Difference between Morrissey and Gaga? Morrissey's got TALENT. Something not many newer artists today have.
Having been to Fairmount, Indiana, before this brings back double memories. Kind of a silly video, but so many cool things in it about James Dean's hometown that the average tourist can't see.
I love Morrissey/Smiths, the best band solo artist/band to come out of the 80's, I remember the good times at the bar, the big hair, bad attitude, I miss those days. Now I have to be grown up, it sucks, and yes my knees click, old age....
THIS SONG IS GREAT SO MUCH MEMORIES... WELL I'M JUST LEARNING ENGLISH AND I CAN GET OR UNDERSTAND ALMOST EVERYTHING, BUT THE THING ON THE VERY END OF THE SONG... PLEASE TELL ME WHAT DOES HE SAY? IT'S NOT MENTIONED ON THE LYRICS OF THE SONG THANKS
I just heard of this song 2 days ago. And a quick google search for "Suedehead lyrics" does not substantiate your claim. Unless everyone else is wrong, yes, it does say "it was a good lay" and not "it was too late." Besides, the number of syllables doesn't quite fit.
"Suedehead", was my first foray into alternative music - it opened doors to enjoying the manchester bands, Joy Division, and others. all because of this intoxicating melody. 80s butt rock (great white, poison) was put on the back burner. they werent 'real' metal, anyway.
hola! tengo 32 años y la mejor parte de mi infancia escuche morrissey cuando era adolscente me di cuenta de un monton de cosas!!!! no se compara la musica hermosa y las letrs q tiene...
I wish I could just go back to '88 and live in that year forever. I was 21 and had my whole life ahead of me. Now I'm 45 and hurt myself yawning the other day. But I still like The Smiths and Morrisey and I'm still somewhat of a badass. Not like Keith Stone or Kenny Powers badass, but I still get around. And if anyone finds a traveling machine or an old Delorean, please let me know, I got shotgun.
That is so funny I nearly spat out my coffee! I want to go back too - and God I have hurt myself yawning too! Did your jaw sort of pop?! Better drag my creaking bones to work after a Morrissey fix!
@vampireselkiegirl At twenty we worry about what others think of us; at forty we don't care about what others think of us; at sixty we discover they haven't been thinking about us at all.

@bigdsears omg im excited, and scared that there will be a problem and that i will disintegrate. hell, its a chance i'll take. first destination? can i propose Hollywood - i want to meet young Demi Moore.
@jessxxy Here's another decision I've made jessxxy: When the road calls me, I'm gonna listen to it. I spent the past year working behind the wheel, but still, I'd forgotten what driving was all about. From here on out, I'm gonna be one with the open road. It's gonna be me, my sweet ride—or whatever ride I have at the time—and a six-disc changer stocked with the best rock known to man. I'll find myself a nice, flat stretch of road with no traffic lights or cops, and I will fly.
@bigdsears nope never had the pleasure i was a skate rat running around NYC when i was that age. skinehead Hoodys and elesse shoes where my thing. The NATAS KAUPAS Look was in then.
I was 18 and had just graduated high school, that was a great year & time. everything seemed possible at that time. I chuckled at the yawning/hurting, it happens to us all. getting old sux

I love Morrissey.I am straight. I love Morissey. I am straight. I love Morrissey.I am straight. I love Morissey. I am..running out of
I found myself to this song in the summer of '88. I lived in a little redneck town in the South and I was suicidal because I got bullied for dressing like Alex in A Clockwork Orange. That summer, I got accepted to an arts camp in a bigger city, and I met other kids who had asymmetrical haircuts and wore all black. We danced to this song on the roof of the library. I stopped wanting to kill myself, and I just got my first book published. Love you always, Moz.
OMG My first ever solo Mozz fave. Still so many emotions associated with this song.

The kid at the start of the video is carrying an iPad.
Also, why would Morrissey visit Indiana in the middle of February? Too cold.

lady gaga and Hillary clinton, two new age puppets adopted by satan, and abandoned by society. What a shame that Christians couldn't be more like Jesus, and love unconditionally, like our master did.
