If you had even the slightest knowledge of George Carlin's career, you'd know that the biggest unifying factor between him and Stephen Fry is their love of language. Such a link is obvious when you leave your self to think of whether Carlin wrote 'Modern Man' for the "sound-sex" of it. There are other similarities and examples, but the most obvious would serve you best.

Yes, it was indeed a german government in the mid-20th century that attempted to 'remove a burden from the 'human' race by killing disabled people(people like me for example) as part of their euthenasia programme - on the grounds that it was the kindest thing to do to folks like me - but I think it's unfair to suggest that such actions are typically german. Especially since the cancellation of the Euthenasia scheme is amost unique amongst nazi policy due to public backlash.
Except they deliberately told it as a funny story, not a true article, according to the QI representatives on the site, because they weren't sure if it was true but suspected it wasn't :)
@JamieHowitt I read that argument on the QI site and to be frank I don't really accept it. Nowhere in this clip is it made specific that the story is untrue or might be untrue. I also don't know why QI would be telling stories that perpetuate urban legends without any basis in fact. Surely there are enough quite interesting factual stories that could be told that they don't have to rely on made up ones!
@ObsidianJones why don't you? QI would fitt right in on CNN or HBO but please don't do a remake, watch the original thats what we do. the jokes in QI aren't even spesific to british culture. QI has an international sense of humor
