I believe that Crystal Dynamics should make a remake of the old Tomb Raider's every 10 years. They did 1 now let's see 2,3, and Revelations. But without the interactive cutscenes....
Crystal Dynamics should not make a remake of the TR2 which in my opinion is an ultimate classic. Remake TR2 Crystal and you will send the Tomb Raider Series crashing even further downhill. If you watch the new Tomb Raider Trailer you will clearly see that TR has really ended completely inside. This trailer shows a totally different game just with the same title. Just kill Tomb Raider now. If not then give the rights back to Core Design, Tomb Raider has died. Let Core resurrect the magic.

THey should remake TR2, TR3, TR4 and TR6. I never really got in TR3 but I think it could have been good. TR4 and TR2 were my favourites and TR6 [Angel of Darkness] has the potential to be a good game
Believe it or not, but i think the old tomb raider games. (the ones that made by core design) have much more challenging gameplay. The puzzles are harder. You don't know where to go next and there is NO clues like in anniversary. You're just on your own. I can remember when i was playing tr2 years ago and can't get pass the Venice levels. Still, I want them to remake those games. That'll be awesome.
And also, I wouldn't be good at the Level Editor anyway. It looks so complicated to use but I might download the Level Editor someday, maybe when I get a laptop or something like that.
Well the LE don't take much to run so you should give it a go. Read the manual (Which is a tutorial), build something then release it.
I've not built for a while but now, because I have finnaly completed my college work I can build again. I've been playing (for the...first time :D) Tr1 and I have loved it so much! =D

What I mean is they made it linear and too simple to figure out where to go(where should I go?...Oh, there is a ledge, and another one, and another! Wow, I can eeeeasily see how to get to point B!). And they should have added some ancient language solving(looking at a writing that is, for example, in ancient chinese and trying to guess how can it be helpful to you after translating it). By the way, the characters are too simplified! And Lara is too superhuman! It also looks like POP!
it is linear in the platforming sections, but in the puzzle sections, such as sactuary of the scion and natlas mines it is pretty good at making it hard to tell where you have to go next, and also your forgeting that the objective of TRA is to remake TR1 so language solving puzzles and stuff is just a bit too over the top, it would have been a better idea for them to have resorted to the old, pull this swith find that door, and so on, mechanics of old
although TR2 is a great game but I doubt Eidos and Crystal Dynamics are gonna remake it. The sole reason for TR1 to be remade is due to the worldwide success of Legend and people start comparing it to the original TR1 as they both mark the beginning of a continuity. Afterall, TR1 plays a far more special and important role than any of other TR games
Are you still working on a TRII Remake? I'd love to see it, I don't mean any offense because TRA Retold looks gorgeous but TR2 Retold would have made alot more sense.

My favorate order:
TR1, TR4, TR2, TR_anniversary, TR7, TR3, TR5,TR6 (3 and 5 involve too many modern things, and TR6 sucks.........)
I start the Tomb games from exactly TR1, maybe that's why it beomces my favorate.

If ther is a TR 2 TR 3 TR 4 or TR 5 Remake i just hope that Eidos will just do it coz Crystal Dynamics will just fcuck it up like they fcuk up TRL & TRA coz Lara can NOT do what she can do in the old games like her Jump its crap she jups 3 feet in TR to TR AOD she cud jump up to 6 or 7 or 8 feet you see CD fuck TR up big time Ko soz i ha8t CD they are crap

how would they fuck it up?! people are tired of slow bulky controls in games,the only thing crystal dynamics needs,is better story lines for future TR games,an i belive TR underworld,would put all your feelings to shame,because they are not pulling punches with this game,to say legend was only an ice breaker to reintroduce the game,and anniversary was only a hold over,underworld would be tomb raider in her dark,more mysterious form,like that of past games,just give it a chance to prove itself.
