So true! our beer is way too expenssive in canada.... $35 for a 24 of bud! over 45$ + for a 24 of craft micros.... so we do save money up here by making our own, however, when you're in it to save money, you probably wont make good beer... you have to be in it for the love of the beer to have good results..
I like your brewstand even if you say it looks like something from a scrapyard. I agree with you on the auto siphon! Especially the half inch one! You said that in one of your early videos I tried it then and it is so much quicker then the 3/8 inch.
Hey Tom, great vid, Auto-siphon all the way! For blow off I prefer a 1inch tub straight into a bucket (bypass the airlock all together) kegging is the only way to go....buying bottles, and cleaning them costs about as much as a fcorny keg would have cost ($40).
@immolateus Yeah, the corny's aren't too expensive, but by the time you buy the CO2 bottle, lines, quick disconnects, fridge or freezer if needed....it adds up quick! I keg and will never bottle again!
@theophancecily Pretty good...I am actually going to build a new one one of these days. The new one won't look like something found in the scrapyard. I am actaully going to buy steel for this one. Plus I have more kegs, so it will be a three vessel system. Thanks for watching!!!
