its called buying a ps2 for 30 bucks. get like 4 extra controllers for 5 bucks on ebay. Like this is probably worth it if you have a slow pc :) and if you have ran out of virus protection ilike me... have 2 trogens on my pc and proud :)

@jajdeep1 u just need to specify the path of your game iso or rar = the location of the game. for example if u have downloaded kingdom hearts it will look something like C:/user/downloads/kingdomHeart­s.ISO

just go => CDVD => Browse => iso location (specify)

I've never played KH, but

1) manual game fixes aren't recomended

2) if hardware mode is buggy, you have to try software or SDL (F9 / GSDX options)

@infernodca okay i just got the emulator and all the crap, with the gpu you provide it runs okay, but a bit slow, and some graphics arent drawn, for example power spheres in digimon rumble arena 2, also voices dissapear and there is an overall slowdown, is there any way to fix that? im playing on hardware mode with the config you suggested, and my specs are:

DUDE,THANK U SO MUCH!! now pcsx2 0.9.8 runs so smoothly on my laptop(compaq CQ42) my specs is windows7, core i5 @2.4Ghz, 3Gb RAM & ATI mobility Radeon HD 5430

i tried something different which turned out so great:

- On Speedhacks, i switch 'VU Cycle Stealing' from 0 to 2 (the game went faster & smoother)

- Then, in plugin setting: renderer: direct3d11(hardware) : custom resolution : 1024x768

(BANG! now the lag is entirely gone =D )

@WahTakVong sorry,but i'm no IT person.. on laptop there's a sticker says 'ATI Radeon Premium supports Microsoft DirectX11' let's try switching 'VU Cycle Stealing' on speedhacks option from 0 to 3, then in pllugin setting: custom resolution: turn it lower for about 640x480..(went smoothly on Front mission 5 US version, steady 60fps) IF that doesn't give u 60fps, then ur specs may not be good enough or ur laptop doesnt have independent graphic card.. hope it could u out =]

i have followed all your steps, and i am trying to play my god of war game(original platinum) which plays fine on my ps2. i am trying to select the ISO but it does not show anything like yours(God of War.ISO) it shows some random letters when i go to browse iso and select the actual disc. and when i try to play it shows the screen that the ps2 shows when you have entered no disc:S i think the problem is with either the bios or the iso. please help me:)
