The trouble with refuting the theory of evolution, is that you can't refute it whatsoever if you don't already have a very strong grasp of what it says and means. And once you understand the theory, you realize that it's accurate, and you no longer suffer from the misguided notion that it's refutable.
Evolution is a fact. It happened. Dispute that and you just make yourself look stupid. A theory is an explanation for a phenomenon based on scientific evidence. Evolution is the phenomenon and has been studies extensively by various universities. The explanation is the only incomplete part. That has yet to be determined because fundamentalists argue religion; while scientists still search for any other possible explanation.
Go to talk origins, they have a cunt load of evidence.
Even if evolution is wrong, you cannot just assume that God did it.
That is not an explaination, because it has not been validated to exist.
"if evolution is wrong then creationism is right." is a false dichotomy, and it is wrong.
If we didnt evolve, your god is a complete fuckpillow because he put all the animals in the correct geological places as predicted by evolutionary theory....
Skeletons of ten perfectly modern humans have been excavated from fifty eight feet down in the Dakota Sandstone, over an area spanning about 50 by 100 feet. This formation is a member of the Lower Cretaceous, supposedly 140 million years old. It is known for its dinosaurs and is the same formation found at Dinosaur National Monument.
So there you go.
The evidence appears obvious that these 10 men, woman and children, were buried rapidly by some catastrophe, like a flood.
The stupidity of evolution. If the life span of a fish or worm or bacteria is so short where did they get the time to evolve for 6 billion years? They would have died and never gotten a chance to "evolve" What is the life span of a worm? Where did it get time to evolve into a fish? lol!!!!!! It would have surely drowned in the sea shore first.
@wesaline55 Just asking because it would be part of the equation. If you didn't know many Muslims, you wouldn't be likely to know many x-Muslims. If you know more Christians, there'd be a greater chance of knowing more x-Christians.
@klfly Richard Feynman said "it doesnt matter how smart you are, it doesnt matter how beautiful your theory, if it doesnt agree with experiment, its wrong".
Evolution is a beautiful, intelligent and plausable sounding theory....sadly..there is ZERO evidence or experiment proving evolution.
for example you cant take similar looking fossils and say one evolved into another(through gradual changes over many generation) since fossils are merely rocks and you cant prove they are related.
@LandlessPeasantFuck There are numerous experiments supporting the theory including recent yeast experiments. Fossils are merely rocks? Brilliant. Fossil evidence is not the only evidence. Genetic evidence is fascinating. As this field has exploded how amazing that it draws a tree of life almost identical to what Darwin put forth.
@klfly "There are numerous experiments supporting the theory including recent yeast experiments"
the yeast experiments prove natural selection...not evolution....natural selection is a proven fact..unlike evolution.
please explain the tree of life to me and explain how it proves evolution???....how can it prove evolution when you dont know what genetics some extinct dead animal had???
@LandlessPeasantFuck Go read. You're providing an example of exactly what I describe in the video. If you don't know how genetic similarities in modern animals would support their placement in the tree of life as mapped out evolutionary biologists than you've not done the work one should do if they wish to challenge such a widely respected theory. Your arrogance is astounding.
@klfly every time I challenge a supporter of the theory of evolution they keep saying the same thing "go read".."take a biology course".."go to the library"...and they act as if im uneducated and have not bothered to read and understand the theory...well I have read and understood the theory and I have some problems with it!!!...you claim to be scientists but you are frauds..because real science is all about challenging our ideas and the evidence...you coward evolutionists dont want a challenge!
jusy because there are genetic similarities does not prove we have a common ancestor(since there is no way to trace back and know what genetics our "common ancestor" would have)..the theory of evolution is based on a lot of big assumptions...BIG BIG ASSUMPTIONS...thats not good science.
and I dont give a fuck if a theory is widely respected or not...years ago the majority believed the earth was flat..just because there was a majority of flat earthers at the time does that make it true!!..hell NO...so dont make up bullshit, cheap and straw, man arguments against people who challenge the theory of evolution...lets stick to the facts.
"it doesnt matter how smart you are, it doesnt matter how beautiful your theory is, if it doesnt agree with experiment, its wrong"
@LandlessPeasantFuck There's a difference between something being widespread and having it be a scientific theory. People thinking the earth is flat wasn't a scientific theory, it was just what people believed. Evolution is a proven scientific theory just like gravity.
@LandlessPeasantFuck I used to be a narrow minded bigot just like you. I then graduated school, went to college, then university, spending 7 years in the field stuydying evolutionary biology. I saw the evidence of evolution everywhere I looked. You too can find it if you got off your lazy backside and didnt just sit there with your eyes and ears covered and LOOKED for yourself. Visit a museum. Study basic biology. Educate yourself. Dont whine on Youtube demanding evidence.
@Hedonistic0Frog weather or not the flat earth belief was a theory or not is irrelevent..the point is that the majority at the time believed it to be true(just as today the majority believe evolution to be true). Some evolutionists make bullshit arguments like "well 99.9% of scientists say evolution is a fact"...and I say, "those 99.9% could still be wrong".
the fossil evidence only proves on thing and one thing only....that there are extinct dead animal species....they do not prove that one species is related to another species in time.
the evolutionary scientists have superimposed their theory onto the evidence with no actual proof.
@klfly Richard in order to prove that a group of animals are related..you need GENETICS!!...sadly you cant say one species of dinosaur from the fossil records evolved feathers and over millions of years evolved into modern day birds...and you cant say that because there is no DNA evidence to prove these species are LINKED!!
Sorry...no evidence to support the theory of evolution.
so do we have modern day examples of evolution(where we can test using DNA)...NO..nothing!
@wesaline55 Excuse me, 6. And just so you know, the Theory Of Evolution is a belief system, not a science. None of your beliefs can be reproduced in a laboratory.. go figure.
@wesaline55 Except that mountains do not have roots, salt water and unsalted water do mix, embryos do not grow into a lump of flesh.... what islamic "scientists" claim. And their inspiration? Yup, the qur'an, which states these wild claims as fact.
@klfly Excuse me, 6. And just so you know, the Theory Of Evolution is a belief system, not a science. None of your beliefs can be reproduced in a laboratory.. go figure.
After this common ancestor gave birth to a human, which evolutionists now says the first human was a black man, then how would this black man evolve into a white if there were no whites around to begin with? Did the black man go with a yeti??
@hibiscusfire This will be the last time I reply to you until you post something that makes it clear that you've actually read Darwins origin of species. You are exactly what I'm making fun of in the video. You want to debunk a theory while being to lazy to even study that which you wish to debunk. Lighter skin was a mutation and in some places, in some climates it may have either served as an advantage or was linked genetically with something that did. Read the book you lazy fool.
@klfly People are not lazy or fools, they just believe in a logical theory or the logical answer. If you go by God as the Creator of all things and made all things perfect in the beginning until Adam and Eve sinned you would understand that much of what we see is man made and corrupted by man. You have no idea of what man did through the ages and who or what they mated with. I always say that name-callers are usually saying what they are. People who do not believe in God go into hell. Rev. 21:8
@klfly check yourself before you post ok. And if lighter skin was a mutation, how did they survive in African as an african black? Why did they leave africa. Then you are saying whites are really blacks. Then you should go live in Africa the land of your birth.
@klfly You obviously know little about the theory you're trying to defend.
There are 5 types of evolution. Cosmic, Chemical, Stellar/Planetary, Organic, Macro, and Micro Evolution. 4 of them have been disproven. The only one that hasn't been is Micro Evolution. Change within a species. You can't add genes to the genetic code of an organism. All creatures actually lose genetic information over time. Therefore, Macro-evolution isn't possible. If it isn't possible, why are you supporting it? :P
@ThePhilipgg Macroevolution has not been disproved. Please quote a valid source that says it has. Evolution has been further supported by fossil evidence and genetic evidence neither of which were present when the theory was developed. You make these claims and state facts but you give no source to back them.
This "common ancestor" gave birth to a chimp and then to a human? Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. That common ancestor should have only be able to give birth to on e of it's common ancestor" kind. Can a human being be the "common ancestor" for a gorilla and an ape?
@hibiscusfire Holy shit man, this is fucking stupid. Read the goddamn book lest you make yourself look like more of an idiot. You don't know the difference between cousins and siblings? And we're talking very distand cousins and very gradual change. We're talking about mutations occuring and when a mutation is advantageous it is more likely to be passed on as a more succesful being will have better odds at suriviving and reproducing. Millions of years and many mutations later...
@klfly watch your words. You can't even have a decent conversation without the profanity? Is this how evolved your mind is? What a pity! Your cousins are apes? Wow. You need to go back to your roots and bring them back home. They are waiting for you in the jungle - cousin ape and cousin gorilla.
So how can a "common ancestor" give birth to a gradual change of a monkey and a human? hahhahahahahaa
@Nidair it was not poofed it was designed by the Heavenly Maker. In your ignorance I can tell you that your computer was poofed into existence by nothing.
@hibiscusfire I asked you what the difference is between "everything was supernaturally poofed into existence from nothing by a divine being." and "everything was supernaturally designed from nothing by a divine being."
@Nidair So how do you explain the existence of life? There had to be a beginning. God is the Alpha and the Omega did you ever hear that? It means God is the BEGINNING and the END. GOD always was and is, and is to come.
@Nidair "what the difference is between "everything was supernaturally poofed into existence from nothing by a divine being." and "everything was supernaturally designed from nothing by a divine being." Poof is associated with magic. A designer is someone who carefully thinks out a plan for the best outcome and design and makes it to perfection. A magician is some1 who does not think of designing because eg pulling out a rabbit from a hat is a trick. A rabbit was created and designed by God.
@hibiscusfire Rabbits evolved from Acritoparamys, dating from 50 million years ago, but whatever. Your answer of "a magician does not think of a plan" is ludicrous at best. A magician has to plan everything to make his audience believe him. His assistant must know the plan as well, and if a random audience member is picked, that person needs to be pre-picked and also told the plan.
Or did you think a magician really uses magic? In that case, you have been tricked.
@Nidair Does a magician plan how he will create a rabbit or does he just performs a trick of a rabbit appearing that was already created? You didn't understand what I meant did you?
@hibiscusfire No, creatures spontaneously appearing from nothing is impossible because there is no such thing as "nothing". Magicians cannot create rabbits for the same reason an imaginary god cannot create rabbits: because everywhere you look, you will see 100% of something (most likely air) and 0% of nothing, so there is no space to create a rabbit in.
Maybe this requires some knowledge of chemistry to understand, but the periodic table does not lie, and it does not contain "nothing."
@hibiscusfire Lifeforms consist of carbon and hydrogen. Carbon and hydrogen have existed since the forming of the known universe, and maybe even before that. Draw the logical conclusion from those scientific facts.
As for the next question you are going to are going to ask: we do not know. What is wrong with saying "I do not know" especially since no one CAN know?
@Nidair Well....well turns out that you don't in fact believe in Freedom of speech, you got more in common with that Catholic person than you like to admit. I recommend you delete some of your posts on your own page to save yourself some embarrisment.
@Nidair why don't you take carbon dioxide and hydrogen and put those in a bottle put a note stuck to the bottle and place it safely where it can settle. In 100 years to come someone may dig it out and I assure you there would be no life form in it or anything close dead or alive
@hibiscusfire Abiogenesis (the process where natural elements formed proteins) did not occur in 100 years. The first living cell was formed about 300 million years after the earth was the "sphere" as we know it now. It has been proven scientifically that proteins can form from non-life. As of yet, the complete abiogenesis process has not been reproduced, but to say it is impossible is pure speculation.
@hibiscusfire As I have said before, there is no such thing as "nothing" in the universe. Every single bit of space on the world is inhabited by molecules. Now, reproducing is not the same as creating. It is essentially gathering nonliving material (mostly carbon) and change it into a living being. So instead of the nonliving material, there is now living material. But it inhabits the same space. The earth does not get bigger.
For years, chimpanzees were considered to be only 1% genetically dissimilar to humans. A recent gene splicing study revealed a 6–8% difference. A 2003 study revealed a 13% difference in our respective immune systems, and another study revealed a 17% difference in gene expression in our cerebral cortexes. So which is it?
so up till now you can't even tell me what the "common ancestor"is or was. Nebraska Man, a pig. Piltdown man, a fraud. Java Man, disowned by it's discoverer and found to have been made up of parts of ape and human remains.
@hibiscusfire I love that you'll supply my answer so you can refute it. This isn't religion, unknowns are welcome and acknowledged as such. When you can't prove relgiion the answer is faith or God did it but when we have areas that are still being explored you're all of a sudden a hyper skeptic. There are several possible "latest common ancestor"s of chimps and humans. Nakalipithecus, and Ouranopithecus are both candidates. Chimps are our closest living ancestor, 98.4% indentical DNA.
@klfly humans and chimpanzees are qualitatively different in their intellectual, linguistic, and moral capacities.
Chimpanzees receive countless hours of human instruction. Elephants display more a human-like emotional capacity. Animals such as elephants, dolphins, woodpecker finches, and otters make and use tools. Parrots have displayed more developed linguistic capacities. Pigs have performed better in some animal intelligence tests than chimpanzees.
@klfly YOu mean to say with all that 98.4% identical DNA only humans are able to utilize their linguistic capabilities to build high tech civilizations, produce masterful works of art and music, write books, and teach animals while Chimpanzees don’t build high tech civilizations, produce masterful works of art and music, write books, or teach humans???? Wow Wow. Come on get real. God made humans different from animals. We were made over them.
You cannot help others in anyway unless you know the truth and the truth is you are talking a lot of garbage and degrading the human race including yourself.
A christian is someone who follows and believe in Jesus and everything He said in the Bible. Now that you got that, I want you to know that a true christian or believer of Jesus would NEVER believe in evolution. Watch this on YOUTube and you would hear what happened to the Pope John Paul II...
ENGLISH voice over: 23 Horas Muerta, Angelica Zambrano (FULL)
@hibiscusfire This theory developed before genetics took off. Before genomes were mapped. Fascinating that these advances & all this additional information which might have torn Darwin's ideas apart instead back up& strengthen the origin of species argument. Grow up? So the overwhelming majority of biologists who have made amazing advances in medicine & quality of life are all just immature children whereas you are a wizened elder? Yes I need to grow up and so does Stephen Hawking. Evolve!
@hibiscusfire An ape did not turn into a human. How can you be trying to refute a theory that you have so obviously not read? To try and debate with you on something you have no comprehension of is ridiculous. Read the damn thing, take some notes and come debate from a place of knowing instead of making a fool of yourself saying stupid shit like "Which is the first ape to turn human."
@klfly You know what is stupid? Evolution is. It can never get its stories straight. Because those who ripped Darwin's theory apart (the believers of Jesus) and even those like you ("new aged" atheists) have proved that man did not come from apes as was previously claimed. Now you atheists are saying we came from a common ancestor. Then what was it? Or who was it? Was it King Kong?
@hibiscusfire So Darwin said we came from apes? You're making yourself look really stupid. Please provide me with the text where Darwin said that we cam from apes rather than that we have a common ancestor with apes. READ THE FUCKING BOOK before you try to discredit it. Seriously, for you own cause. Not reading it is lazy on your part and your God is probably really embarrassed to have you acting such an ass in his name.
@klfly Seriously you need to learn some manners. Is this the heights of your evolved being? It's really really sad that you behave more like a "species" of gorrillas or chickens. Your brain did not evolve properly.
@hibiscusfire Before you talk about manners you should re-read your insulting posts. The worst disrespect is the laziness of refusing to read the theory that you seek to discredit and paintint it as stupid, as if it's easily discarded which betrays an amazing level of conciept. Not only have you not read Darwin's Origin of Species but I'd also argue that you did not actually watch the video you're commenting on all the way through. Manners indeed.
@klfly Darwin's"Descent of Man"states in many places his belief that men were descended from apes or monkeys!Darwin also admitted he had he had no evidence for it ever having occurred! From this fragmentary evidence evolutionists have come up with a fantasy story that men descended from apes,&that we have a common ancestry with chimpanzees.Evolutionists will take any common trait among humans & other primates & conclude that this is evidence of evolution.Apes scratch their heads. Humans do also!
@hibiscusfire You are saying things that are simply not true. You read somewhere that Darwin said that and you believed it because it suppored the belief you desired If it's true, please quote what Darwin wrote.
@klfly Tell me how can anyone besides God create water. Water so simple, yet so essential for living. Jesus is the Living Water. The Bible is so much deeper than you think. The human blood is essential for life, whereas the blood of Jesus saves and is essential for eternal life. We are made in the image of God ... do you know how? Tell me.
@hibiscusfire So it was God that created water? What about microbes and diseases and birth defects? All God? It makes sense for these things to exist in the evolution model but you would have us believe your loving God lovingly crafted all the disease and starvation and suffering that fills our history books? What a dick.
@klfly If you really want to know the answer then it would be great for you to get a King James version Bible. You see you don't see at all the truth. Sin is the reason. Without God there is evil and sin is what happens. Heaven and Hell is real you know. And yes God made water. The Bible also entails history which you choose to ignore. You can read all sorts of garbage from men but you refuse to read what came from your maker. You also made up your own conclusions and posted it on YouTube.
@klfly And also, many atheists like you are very limited in english. You always want to call others bad names because you know that is what you really are. It's unfortunate that you try to palm off names on others what you are. It won't work. because it just goes to show how there is no morals in humans like you...or should I say beasts like you since you don't believe you are 100% human instead of an evolved beast.
@hibiscusfire Yes, the fact that surveys show the higher someone's IQ and the greater their education the more likely they are to be atheist. But we're all idiots with limited vocabulary. As for our morals, your morals aren't in line with your bible either. Do you abhor slavery? Jesus didn't. Do you eat shellfish or pork? Jesus didn't. How do feel about loaning money with interest? It's against the bible but I never see you guys protesting outside of banks.
@klfly You have your facts all wrong.First of all, u can't determine a person's intelligence with only education or IQ because u forgot that no two people are alike, we all are good at something and better at it than another. You cannot tell me that you know everything either. Because u don't. You don't understand the Holy Bible because your mind is set against it because of your so called atheist ancestors. Stop playing games and find out what you are missing. You are missing the love of Jesus!
@hibiscusfire I don't claim to know everything. I speak on things I do know about. Your religion is a unified field theory, though that is an insult to the word theory. You claim to know the origin of the universe & everything in it. I'm just saying that Darwin's theory has not been proven wrong & cannot be easily discarded. IQ can be misleading applied to individuals but a group's average IQ is a relevant measure of their intelligence & will be reflected in that groups over all success.
I accepted the theory of Evolution, until I learned how heavily influenced Eugenics was by Darwin`s theories. After all the Origin of Species is originally subtitled The Preservation of Favored Races in The Struggle For Life.
@SevenLeggedWalrus You judge a theory by how other people falsely apply it? In that original title race did not mean ethnicity as it is used more commonly now. It was just a case of a scientific mind not realizing the way something would sound to the rest of us. It's the kind of thing that keeps nerds socially awkward. You read the book and Darwin does NOT apply his theory in that way at all nor encourage it.
And when you get your GED you will finally understand that evolution has nothing at all to do with disproving or rejecting god/God/gods. Nothing. And so it follows that disproving evolution, say, with another theory that better fits our massive physical evidence, does nothing to bolster a belief in god either. Proving/disproving, believing/not believing in evolution has nothing to do with the existence or nonexistance of god. Get it?
@bigmandrel you fucking destroy...i wish i had your knoeledge or even a basic understanding of either creation or evolution. i literally just baught darwins book any advice where i can further my research?
Sorry, but the mechanism you were asking for was one that would create a "novel organ...". Well, evolution does not work that way, nor make those kind of "mechanistic" claims. So...I've no choice but to redouble my insults to someone who argues from a position of profound retardency [not a word, but I'm feeling fanciful]. Besides you did more; you made a claim that god-beings do not aprove of any human's lifestlye. More christardation. Thus I am forced to again mention that pesky GED.
From simple to complex? Great, how about a mechanism that creates the genetic information needed to create a novel organ, system, or body plan. Mutations fail, gene duplication fails, polypoidy fails. Evolution fails. Why don't you find a new story to help you deny God. It is so obvious that you want to continue in a lifestyle that God doesn't like. Newsflash God doesn't like any of our lifestyles. Actually I have read many books, maybe you should try to do a little reading yourself.
@mejc2 Wow, you have absolutely no clue whatsoever how evolution works, and also that it has nothing to do with denying any god. YOUR lifestyle is a self imposed ignorance that degrades your potential with fear, hate, and the false humility of the self righteous. Please, do get your GED.
@bigmandrel That is because it doesn't work there is no mechanism. You asked for a conversation, I asked for specific information and you insult me because you have no specific information. Now how about a mechanism?
The only God. The God of the Bible. All religions are the same except one. they all say the same thing except biblical Christianity. All religions claim follow some rules, live right, get rewards. Only Jesus offers salvation because of his actions, not yours.
@mejc2 No they don't. Clearly you haven't studied other religions. And you have no proof the Christianity is the only way to salvation just because some book says it is. Other books say their prophets are the only way to salvation too. I'm sorry but your argument has a weak and unsupported premise.
Not only are you wrong, but you didn't even understand my comment. I didn't say that Christianity is the only way to salvation. I said "Only Jesus offers salvation because of his actions, not yours." All other religions ask their followers to live in a certain way to gain some reward. Only Christianity says that Jesus has completed the action and because of HIS actions you will gain rewards.
@mejc2 As I said, you have not studied other religions which is bluntly obvious from this comment and your last one. What's there not to understand? Show me your evidence! Quote the Qur'an if you have to... I don't care. Just don't say an opinion without facts.
I have studied religions at the post secondary and graduate levels. Name one religion that is not based on its followers acting in some particular way.
Regarding your first point ... Abiogenesis is not part of Darwin's theory it is true, but are those who accept evolution always Darwinian? Evolution may not ALWAYS be tied to abiogenesis, but abiogenesis is indeed tied to evolution.
If you can grant that, then maybe you are open-minded.
A lot of christians (and for that matter... all other religions with some set of books) can throw the 'you read the book, right?' argument right back. How would you respond to this? I certainly have not read the entire bible, myself. Luckily, Genesis in just a couple pages gives away many of it's claims on the origin of life and are easily refuted with minor scientific inquiry using a microscope and two sets of blood samples. Aren't I taking a leap of faith by not having said samples?
@BeBoBli I've read the whole bible just for that reason. It's a lot like lord of the rings in the begining, with giants, magic and battles. Then it gets a bit preachy towards the end.
ok comedian, im gonna shut you and your mate up (sidewaysgts), if man has evolved with the rest of all life then why do we need clothes, why have we evolved to need clothing and not developed a body to withstand our surroundings like the rest of the creatures on the planet, like what you say, as long as there has been man there has been clothing. ug ug caveman like gucci.
@joiganja Ha ha. Please tell me this is a joke! You provide yet another example of what I'm talking about in the video, someone who attempts to refute a theory that he can't be bothered to actually study, even lightly. Seriously, this makes it clear you haven't even a rudimentary understanding of Darwin's theory.
@joiganja Our mostly fur-less bodies are very well suited to Africa, the place of our origin. Several animals have adapted to use tools. Clothing is a tool that serves many purposes from just holding bits in place to allow more comfort when running, hunting, etc. to providing warmth and allowing us to adapt to a greater range of climates than most other animals. Like the decorative plumage of birds, clothing has also become part of our mating and social behaviors.
@klfly so why if we were some ape type creature covered in fur did we originate in africa, if we had fur surely somewhere cooler would be more appropiate for our origins not hot, that just does,nt make sense or add up, so we started somewhere hot with fur, then moved to colder places and lost the fur and needed clothes, yeah that makes sense
@joiganja You need to take into account that climate changed during the very long period of time we're talking about & that there is more chance involved in evolution. Get out of the designer mindset. Much of what happens in evolution is NOT the most intelligent or efficient means to the end and many adaptations have in the long run turned out not to be successful.
Within the same ecosystem you'll have adaptations that are wildly different, from flight, to camouflage, to furlessness (continued)
@joiganja So, the adaptation of furlessness, in a warm climate, on an animal with a large brain and the ability to use tools turned out to be a very successful adaptation. There are many other animals who lack fur as well & many of them live amongst animals with fur, animals with different adaptations that have allowed their species to survive.
It's a better question to ask of creationists. Why would God make us so vulnerable, give whales fingers in their fins, create things like diabetes, etc?
@klfly so why didn't all the furry animals in africa move to the cooler places and lose their fur?. Then all animals should be wearing clothes. Either that or humans should not care if they are wearing clothes or not. And if evolutionists claim chimps are only 2% missing genes of humans why don't they wear clothes and get jobs and go on trips for themselves? Why are they in the zoo and jungles still? Evolution is ridiculous!!!!
@klfly when God made Adam and Eve they were without clothes and knew no sin. When they sinned, they became aware of their nakedness and God covered them up.
@joiganja Since you drew the comparison to other animals, what other animal lives in as many climates as we? Most insects. Have you noticed the expense Zoos must go through to keep a wide variety of animals? Also, look up waffling. It would imply that I'm going back and forth on my answer. A better term for your snarky reply would've been dodging. Now go read the Origin of Species lest you make a bigger fool of yourself.
I'm amazed that you think it would be so easy to refute this theory. Do you just figure the overwhelming majority of biologists are stupid? that they missed something so obvious? If you were less conceited you'd actually read the theory to see if these questions are answered, which they. are. But no, you just hang onto them because you WANT to believe what you believe.
Now answer this question. Have you actually read Darwin's Origin of Species?
@joiganja None of your questions have been at all challenging and until you take the time to actually try and understand what you're talking about I'm not going to bother with you any longer. Go read the book. Trying to discuss it with you is ridiculous otherwise.
@klfly of course, we had a whole term/symester on it at school, thats where i first started having doubts, you said yourself that you once thought the bible was right until you read the origins of the species, if you think its water tight then thats your choice, what if something else comes out in the future and it turns out we have all been lied to, i don,t deny i could be wrong but i need more than a book to convince me, lets agree to disagree klfly.
@joiganja What is with this weird schizophrenic cycle? From "I'm gonna shut you up" to "let's agree to disagree." I never said I thought the bible was right until I read Origin of Species. Where did you get that?
I need more than a book also. I take what's written in the book and I observe the natural world, read about the huge breakthroughs in genetics, see the theory applied. If new information comes through that disproves it of course I'll adjust my beliefs. Not the case as of now.
@joiganja I don't believe you studied it. If you did, you're not a good student. Your questions were not the questions of someone who was actually familiar with the theory.
(continued from previous comment) So as more brainwashed idiots jump onto the anti Einstein bandwagon, people without a background in advanced math (which, I believe is the majority of people) are going to make more and more ridiculous criticisms of relativity. And the only way to address those criticisms would be in the language of rigorous advanced math, which most people don't understand and hence you'll see a widening of the gulf between the public and science.
You know, as a physics and math major I sometimes wonder: look at how the public fail to understand something as simple as the mechanisms of biological evolution. Now I'm seeing a lot of people voicing out their opinions against general relativity because according to them it promotes "moral relativism". And advanced physics can ONLY be described in terms of advanced math (tensors, differential geometry, multivariable calc., etc.).
I don't understand what stalin/hitler believing in evolution had anything to do with the theory. Eisenhower dropped the bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing lots of people. Does that mean we deny nuclear physics?
the guy on the video is fighting with another guy who gving the comments about the video. haha hilarious. well bro we easily get insulted.. so dont try to insult poeple back.. it would be an endless bad vocals throw.
so you are saying that a man and a woman ( which were made perfect ) were created out of some sort of mutation? what kind of sick bastard are you? don't you care that you are actually insulting people?
plus, what i really don't understand is why people have to compare human with some sort of monkey... to me you guys look more like pigs and dogs mixed up... so you can believe what ever the fuck you want to, not everything that's written is true bro...
@kiafar We're perfect? Wow. Don't know how I missed that one.
I don't believe because it's written, that would be the theists lot. I believe because there is evidence, more all the time. Interesting that as genetics has taken off the resultant species map is so close to Darwin's.
@kiafar You, by the way are exactly what this video is talking about. If you're going to try and refute a theory so universally respected by the scientific community wouldn't you want to do some studying and find out why exactly they find it so compelling?
@mstrhuejax Why? I'm not the one who can't form an argument to express his beliefs. If you want to participate in this discussion you'll have to do better than that.
@klfly idk i might be too baked but its not clear to me beliefs you have. are you making fun of people that dont believe in evolution? or do not believe in evolution? i believe in evolution. and i believe if you killed yourself it would do nothing more/less than end the branch of evolution that which is you.
@mstrhuejax Do you watch videos before you comment on them? I am addressing some of the more common and more absurd arguments of creationists. I do believe that Darwin's theory is right on and more supported with every new discovery in biology.
@mstrhuejax Right. You came here making abrasive comments without watching the video, or perhaps it was just without comprehending the video, your response to finding out you were wrong is more insults and I'm the asshole. Go away little one, grown ups are talking. I've wasted enough time on you.
@klfly i admitted that i was wrong for how i came off. i dont see how thats immature. but im still entitled to an opinion, which is that i think youre an asshole. just because you dont like what i think about you, you're asking me to go away and trying to make yourself look better than me by calling me little one, like im not an adult. also i dont think youre much different than the people who you claim are arrogant and conceited by the way you talk about evolution, and christians as well.
By 'good' I'm assuming you mean 'unwilling to invoke immaterial causes' (which is a *philosophical* preference in the 1st place). Though if you're that committed to neo-darwinism (an accepted term btw), that all critics of it are automatically 'discredited', there's not much to say- unless you care to justify your bias- but even then, from experience I don't really expect you to respond in any meaningful way to any anwers I might give.
What I find most ironic is that people of Dawkinist sympathies ( ok I admit, *that's* not an official term), will without fail say that all teleological explanations result from an inability to think things through for oneself, but when arguments are made, they revert to an appeal to authority.- saying this and that has been 'discredited'. Tho prove me wrong, and say 1stly, why you think the blindwatchmaker can do everything Dawkins says, and 2ndly, why there can be no teleological explanations.
Isn´t it a bit dangerous to play with fanatics and looneys???? Be careful my brother. Some of these people hear god voices inside their heads. And, by the way, you are absolutely right about everything. PD: Read the latest Richard Dawkins Book. It is awesome. The greatest show on earth.
Found Jesus in the head not the heart couldn't deal with Jesus died for his sins that he couldn't give up I sense some hatred toward Jesus carbon dating only works if carbon dioxide levels are the same which change daily creation institute will help you with this evolution sprit
The trouble with refuting the theory of evolution, is that you can't refute it whatsoever if you don't already have a very strong grasp of what it says and means. And once you understand the theory, you realize that it's accurate, and you no longer suffer from the misguided notion that it's refutable.
I do love irony.

LandlessPeasantFuck 3 months ago
@LandlessPeasantFuck There are numerous experiments supporting the theory including recent yeast experiments. Fossils are merely rocks? Brilliant. Fossil evidence is not the only evidence. Genetic evidence is fascinating. As this field has exploded how amazing that it draws a tree of life almost identical to what Darwin put forth.
klfly 3 months ago
@klfly "There are numerous experiments supporting the theory including recent yeast experiments"
the yeast experiments prove natural selection...not evolution....natural selection is a proven fact..unlike evolution.
please explain the tree of life to me and explain how it proves evolution???....how can it prove evolution when you dont know what genetics some extinct dead animal had???
LandlessPeasantFuck 3 months ago
@LandlessPeasantFuck Go read. You're providing an example of exactly what I describe in the video. If you don't know how genetic similarities in modern animals would support their placement in the tree of life as mapped out evolutionary biologists than you've not done the work one should do if they wish to challenge such a widely respected theory. Your arrogance is astounding.
klfly 3 months ago

LandlessPeasantFuck 3 months ago
and I dont give a fuck if a theory is widely respected or not...years ago the majority believed the earth was flat..just because there was a majority of flat earthers at the time does that make it true!!..hell NO...so dont make up bullshit, cheap and straw, man arguments against people who challenge the theory of evolution...lets stick to the facts.
"it doesnt matter how smart you are, it doesnt matter how beautiful your theory is, if it doesnt agree with experiment, its wrong"
LandlessPeasantFuck 3 months ago
@LandlessPeasantFuck There's a difference between something being widespread and having it be a scientific theory. People thinking the earth is flat wasn't a scientific theory, it was just what people believed. Evolution is a proven scientific theory just like gravity.

@Hedonistic0Frog "Evolution is a proven scientific theory just like gravity."

Dont whine on Youtube demanding evidence.
venomfanex 1 month ago
@Hedonistic0Frog weather or not the flat earth belief was a theory or not is irrelevent..the point is that the majority at the time believed it to be true(just as today the majority believe evolution to be true). Some evolutionists make bullshit arguments like "well 99.9% of scientists say evolution is a fact"...and I say, "those 99.9% could still be wrong".
LandlessPeasantFuck 3 months ago
@Hedonistic0Frog wrong evolution is still theory.
eric80510 1 month ago
the fossil evidence only proves on thing and one thing only....that there are extinct dead animal species....they do not prove that one species is related to another species in time.
the evolutionary scientists have superimposed their theory onto the evidence with no actual proof.
LandlessPeasantFuck 3 months ago
@klfly Richard in order to prove that a group of animals are related..you need GENETICS!!...sadly you cant say one species of dinosaur from the fossil records evolved feathers and over millions of years evolved into modern day birds...and you cant say that because there is no DNA evidence to prove these species are LINKED!!
Sorry...no evidence to support the theory of evolution.
so do we have modern day examples of evolution(where we can test using DNA)...NO..nothing!

hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@hibiscusfire This will be the last time I reply to you until you post something that makes it clear that you've actually read Darwins origin of species. You are exactly what I'm making fun of in the video. You want to debunk a theory while being to lazy to even study that which you wish to debunk. Lighter skin was a mutation and in some places, in some climates it may have either served as an advantage or was linked genetically with something that did. Read the book you lazy fool.
klfly 7 months ago
@klfly People are not lazy or fools, they just believe in a logical theory or the logical answer. If you go by God as the Creator of all things and made all things perfect in the beginning until Adam and Eve sinned you would understand that much of what we see is man made and corrupted by man. You have no idea of what man did through the ages and who or what they mated with. I always say that name-callers are usually saying what they are. People who do not believe in God go into hell. Rev. 21:8
Skyheartstar777 7 months ago
@klfly check yourself before you post ok. And if lighter skin was a mutation, how did they survive in African as an african black? Why did they leave africa. Then you are saying whites are really blacks. Then you should go live in Africa the land of your birth.
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@klfly You obviously know little about the theory you're trying to defend.
There are 5 types of evolution. Cosmic, Chemical, Stellar/Planetary, Organic, Macro, and Micro Evolution. 4 of them have been disproven. The only one that hasn't been is Micro Evolution. Change within a species. You can't add genes to the genetic code of an organism. All creatures actually lose genetic information over time. Therefore, Macro-evolution isn't possible. If it isn't possible, why are you supporting it? :P
ThePhilipgg 6 months ago
@ThePhilipgg Macroevolution has not been disproved. Please quote a valid source that says it has. Evolution has been further supported by fossil evidence and genetic evidence neither of which were present when the theory was developed. You make these claims and state facts but you give no source to back them.

They are waiting for you in the jungle - cousin ape and cousin gorilla.

hibiscusfire 6 months ago
@hibiscusfire You still have not answered my question. Answer my question and I will answer yours.
Nidair 6 months ago
@Nidair "what the difference is between "everything was supernaturally poofed into existence from nothing by a divine being." and "everything was supernaturally designed from nothing by a divine being." Poof is associated with magic. A designer is someone who carefully thinks out a plan for the best outcome and design and makes it to perfection. A magician is some1 who does not think of designing because eg pulling out a rabbit from a hat is a trick. A rabbit was created and designed by God.
hibiscusfire 6 months ago
@hibiscusfire Rabbits evolved from Acritoparamys, dating from 50 million years ago, but whatever. Your answer of "a magician does not think of a plan" is ludicrous at best. A magician has to plan everything to make his audience believe him. His assistant must know the plan as well, and if a random audience member is picked, that person needs to be pre-picked and also told the plan.
Or did you think a magician really uses magic? In that case, you have been tricked.
Nidair 6 months ago
@Nidair Does a magician plan how he will create a rabbit or does he just performs a trick of a rabbit appearing that was already created? You didn't understand what I meant did you?
hibiscusfire 6 months ago
@hibiscusfire No, creatures spontaneously appearing from nothing is impossible because there is no such thing as "nothing". Magicians cannot create rabbits for the same reason an imaginary god cannot create rabbits: because everywhere you look, you will see 100% of something (most likely air) and 0% of nothing, so there is no space to create a rabbit in.
Maybe this requires some knowledge of chemistry to understand, but the periodic table does not lie, and it does not contain "nothing."
Nidair 5 months ago
@Nidair No God created rabbits just the way they are with flesh, blood and skin and everything about it. Magicians cannot do that.
hibiscusfire 5 months ago
@hibiscusfire And god cannot do that either. I just explained to you why.
Nidair 5 months ago
@Nidair not god, but God can and has done that already regardless of what you say. You can't do it but God made rabbits too.
hibiscusfire 5 months ago
@hibiscusfire What evidence do you have for lifeforms spontaneously appearing from nothing?
Nidair 5 months ago
@hibiscusfire Lifeforms consist of carbon and hydrogen. Carbon and hydrogen have existed since the forming of the known universe, and maybe even before that. Draw the logical conclusion from those scientific facts.
As for the next question you are going to are going to ask: we do not know. What is wrong with saying "I do not know" especially since no one CAN know?
Nidair 6 months ago
@Nidair Well....well turns out that you don't in fact believe in Freedom of speech, you got more in common with that Catholic person than you like to admit. I recommend you delete some of your posts on your own page to save yourself some embarrisment.
angrydead 6 months ago
@Nidair why don't you take carbon dioxide and hydrogen and put those in a bottle put a note stuck to the bottle and place it safely where it can settle. In 100 years to come someone may dig it out and I assure you there would be no life form in it or anything close dead or alive
hibiscusfire 5 months ago
@hibiscusfire Abiogenesis (the process where natural elements formed proteins) did not occur in 100 years. The first living cell was formed about 300 million years after the earth was the "sphere" as we know it now. It has been proven scientifically that proteins can form from non-life. As of yet, the complete abiogenesis process has not been reproduced, but to say it is impossible is pure speculation.
Nidair 5 months ago
@Nidair so it took that bacteria cell to evolve 1millions to the next cell. So tell me why hasn't the earth grown any bigger since?
hibiscusfire 5 months ago
@hibiscusfire As I have said before, there is no such thing as "nothing" in the universe. Every single bit of space on the world is inhabited by molecules. Now, reproducing is not the same as creating. It is essentially gathering nonliving material (mostly carbon) and change it into a living being. So instead of the nonliving material, there is now living material. But it inhabits the same space. The earth does not get bigger.
Nidair 5 months ago

For years, chimpanzees were considered to be only 1% genetically dissimilar to humans. A recent gene splicing study revealed a 6–8% difference. A 2003 study revealed a 13% difference in our respective immune systems, and another study revealed a 17% difference in gene expression in our cerebral cortexes. So which is it?
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
so up till now you can't even tell me what the "common ancestor"is or was. Nebraska Man, a pig. Piltdown man, a fraud. Java Man, disowned by it's discoverer and found to have been made up of parts of ape and human remains.
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@hibiscusfire I love that you'll supply my answer so you can refute it. This isn't religion, unknowns are welcome and acknowledged as such. When you can't prove relgiion the answer is faith or God did it but when we have areas that are still being explored you're all of a sudden a hyper skeptic. There are several possible "latest common ancestor"s of chimps and humans. Nakalipithecus, and Ouranopithecus are both candidates. Chimps are our closest living ancestor, 98.4% indentical DNA.
klfly 7 months ago
@klfly So after billions of years you still can't figure out the "common ancestor"? it figures.
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@klfly humans and chimpanzees are qualitatively different in their intellectual, linguistic, and moral capacities.
Chimpanzees receive countless hours of human instruction. Elephants display more a human-like emotional capacity. Animals such as elephants, dolphins, woodpecker finches, and otters make and use tools. Parrots have displayed more developed linguistic capacities. Pigs have performed better in some animal intelligence tests than chimpanzees.
You and many others are TOTALLY WRONG.
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@klfly YOu mean to say with all that 98.4% identical DNA only humans are able to utilize their linguistic capabilities to build high tech civilizations, produce masterful works of art and music, write books, and teach animals while Chimpanzees don’t build high tech civilizations, produce masterful works of art and music, write books, or teach humans???? Wow Wow. Come on get real. God made humans different from animals. We were made over them.
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
So what is the "common ancestor"?
People will always come from people.
Monkeys will always come from monkeys.
People and monkeys cannot come from any "common ancestor" because there is NONE!
Dogs will always come from dogs. Cats will always come from cats. There is no "common ancestor" between cats and dogs. Grow up!

Evolve!
klfly 7 months ago
@klfly Growing up is not about evolving. You tell me which is the first ape to turn human.
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@hibiscusfire An ape did not turn into a human. How can you be trying to refute a theory that you have so obviously not read? To try and debate with you on something you have no comprehension of is ridiculous. Read the damn thing, take some notes and come debate from a place of knowing instead of making a fool of yourself saying stupid shit like "Which is the first ape to turn human."
klfly 7 months ago
@klfly You know what is stupid? Evolution is. It can never get its stories straight. Because those who ripped Darwin's theory apart (the believers of Jesus) and even those like you ("new aged" atheists) have proved that man did not come from apes as was previously claimed. Now you atheists are saying we came from a common ancestor. Then what was it? Or who was it? Was it King Kong?
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@hibiscusfire So Darwin said we came from apes? You're making yourself look really stupid. Please provide me with the text where Darwin said that we cam from apes rather than that we have a common ancestor with apes. READ THE FUCKING BOOK before you try to discredit it. Seriously, for you own cause. Not reading it is lazy on your part and your God is probably really embarrassed to have you acting such an ass in his name.

@klfly Tell me how can anyone besides God create water. Water so simple, yet so essential for living. Jesus is the Living Water. The Bible is so much deeper than you think. hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@hibiscusfire So it was God that created water? What about microbes and diseases and birth defects? All God? What a dick.
klfly 7 months ago
@klfly If you really want to know the answer then it would be great for you to get a King James version Bible. You see you don't see at all the truth. Sin is the reason. Without God there is evil and sin is what happens. Heaven and Hell is real you know. And yes God made water. The Bible also entails history which you choose to ignore. You can read all sorts of garbage from men but you refuse to read what came from your maker. You also made up your own conclusions and posted it on YouTube.
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@klfly And also, many atheists like you are very limited in english. You always want to call others bad names because you know that is what you really are. It's unfortunate that you try to palm off names on others what you are. hibiscusfire 7 months ago
It's against the bible but I never see you guys protesting outside of banks.
klfly 7 months ago
@klfly You have your facts all wrong.First of all, u can't determine a person's intelligence with only education or IQ because u forgot that no two people are alike, we all are good at something and better at it than another. Stop playing games and find out what you are missing. You are missing the love of Jesus!
hibiscusfire 7 months ago

SevenLeggedWalrus 8 months ago
@SevenLeggedWalrus You judge a theory by how other people falsely apply it? In that original title race did not mean ethnicity as it is used more commonly now. It was just a case of a scientific mind not realizing the way something would sound to the rest of us. It's the kind of thing that keeps nerds socially awkward. You read the book and Darwin does NOT apply his theory in that way at all nor encourage it.
klfly 8 months ago
And when you get your GED you will finally understand that evolution has nothing at all to do with disproving or rejecting god/God/gods. Nothing. And so it follows that disproving evolution, say, with another theory that better fits our massive physical evidence, does nothing to bolster a belief in god either. Proving/disproving, believing/not believing in evolution has nothing to do with the existence or nonexistance of god. Get it?
bigmandrel 8 months ago
@bigmandrel you fucking destroy...i wish i had your knoeledge or even a basic understanding of either creation or evolution. i literally just baught darwins book any advice where i can further my research?
TheMrgreentoker420 8 months ago
Sorry, but the mechanism you were asking for was one that would create a "novel organ...". Well, evolution does not work that way, nor make those kind of "mechanistic" claims. So...I've no choice but to redouble my insults to someone who argues from a position of profound retardency [not a word, but I'm feeling fanciful]. Besides you did more; you made a claim that god-beings do not aprove of any human's lifestlye. More christardation. Thus I am forced to again mention that pesky GED.
bigmandrel 8 months ago
From simple to complex? Great, how about a mechanism that creates the genetic information needed to create a novel organ, system, or body plan. Mutations fail, gene duplication fails, polypoidy fails. Evolution fails. Why don't you find a new story to help you deny God. It is so obvious that you want to continue in a lifestyle that God doesn't like. Newsflash God doesn't like any of our lifestyles. Actually I have read many books, maybe you should try to do a little reading yourself.
mejc2 8 months ago
@mejc2 Wow, you have absolutely no clue whatsoever how evolution works, and also that it has nothing to do with denying any god. YOUR lifestyle is a self imposed ignorance that degrades your potential with fear, hate, and the false humility of the self righteous. Please, do get your GED.
bigmandrel 8 months ago
@bigmandrel That is because it doesn't work there is no mechanism. You asked for a conversation, I asked for specific information and you insult me because you have no specific information. Now how about a mechanism?
mejc2 8 months ago
@mejc2 Which God are you talking about? Allah, Zeus, Vishnu, Yahweh or .... ?
O0oSorousho0O 8 months ago
@O0oSorousho0O
The only God. The God of the Bible. All religions are the same except one. they all say the same thing except biblical Christianity. All religions claim follow some rules, live right, get rewards. Only Jesus offers salvation because of his actions, not yours.
mejc2 8 months ago
@mejc2 No they don't. Clearly you haven't studied other religions. And you have no proof the Christianity is the only way to salvation just because some book says it is. Other books say their prophets are the only way to salvation too. I'm sorry but your argument has a weak and unsupported premise.
O0oSorousho0O 8 months ago
@O0oSorousho0O
Not only are you wrong, but you didn't even understand my comment. I didn't say that Christianity is the only way to salvation. I said "Only Jesus offers salvation because of his actions, not yours." All other religions ask their followers to live in a certain way to gain some reward. Only Christianity says that Jesus has completed the action and because of HIS actions you will gain rewards.
mejc2 8 months ago
@mejc2 As I said, you have not studied other religions which is bluntly obvious from this comment and your last one. What's there not to understand? Show me your evidence! Quote the Qur'an if you have to... I don't care. Just don't say an opinion without facts.
O0oSorousho0O 8 months ago
@O0oSorousho0O

MorganMarvinson 9 months ago
A lot of christians (and for that matter... all other religions with some set of books) can throw the 'you read the book, right?' argument right back. How would you respond to this? I certainly have not read the entire bible, myself. Luckily, Genesis in just a couple pages gives away many of it's claims on the origin of life and are easily refuted with minor scientific inquiry using a microscope and two sets of blood samples. Aren't I taking a leap of faith by not having said samples?
BeBoBli 9 months ago
@BeBoBli I've read the whole bible just for that reason. It's a lot like lord of the rings in the begining, with giants, magic and battles. Then it gets a bit preachy towards the end.
I give it 7/10.
foxmcloud555 9 months ago
ok comedian, im gonna shut you and your mate up (sidewaysgts), if man has evolved with the rest of all life then why do we need clothes, why have we evolved to need clothing and not developed a body to withstand our surroundings like the rest of the creatures on the planet, like what you say, as long as there has been man there has been clothing. ug ug caveman like gucci.
joiganja 9 months ago
@joiganja Ha ha. Please tell me this is a joke! You provide yet another example of what I'm talking about in the video, someone who attempts to refute a theory that he can't be bothered to actually study, even lightly. Seriously, this makes it clear you haven't even a rudimentary understanding of Darwin's theory.
klfly 9 months ago
@klfly don,t waffle, answer the question, why.
joiganja 9 months ago
@joiganja Our mostly fur-less bodies are very well suited to Africa, the place of our origin. Several animals have adapted to use tools. Clothing is a tool that serves many purposes from just holding bits in place to allow more comfort when running, hunting, etc. to providing warmth and allowing us to adapt to a greater range of climates than most other animals. Like the decorative plumage of birds, clothing has also become part of our mating and social behaviors.
klfly 9 months ago
@klfly so why if we were some ape type creature covered in fur did we originate in africa, if we had fur surely somewhere cooler would be more appropiate for our origins not hot, that just does,nt make sense or add up, so we started somewhere hot with fur, then moved to colder places and lost the fur and needed clothes, yeah that makes sense
joiganja 9 months ago
@joiganja You need to take into account that climate changed during the very long period of time we're talking about & that there is more chance involved in evolution. Get out of the designer mindset. Much of what happens in evolution is NOT the most intelligent or efficient means to the end and many adaptations have in the long run turned out not to be successful.
Within the same ecosystem you'll have adaptations that are wildly different, from flight, to camouflage, to furlessness (continued)
klfly 9 months ago
@joiganja So, the adaptation of furlessness, in a warm climate, on an animal with a large brain and the ability to use tools turned out to be a very successful adaptation. There are many other animals who lack fur as well & many of them live amongst animals with fur, animals with different adaptations that have allowed their species to survive.
It's a better question to ask of creationists. Why would God make us so vulnerable, give whales fingers in their fins, create things like diabetes, etc?
klfly 9 months ago
@joiganja great points
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@hibiscusfire thank you
joiganja 7 months ago
@klfly so why didn't all the furry animals in africa move to the cooler places and lose their fur?. Then all animals should be wearing clothes. Either that or humans should not care if they are wearing clothes or not. And if evolutionists claim chimps are only 2% missing genes of humans why don't they wear clothes and get jobs and go on trips for themselves? Why are they in the zoo and jungles still? Evolution is ridiculous!!!!
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@klfly when God made Adam and Eve they were without clothes and knew no sin. When they sinned, they became aware of their nakedness and God covered them up.
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
@joiganja Since you drew the comparison to other animals, what other animal lives in as many climates as we? Most insects. Have you noticed the expense Zoos must go through to keep a wide variety of animals? Also, look up waffling. It would imply that I'm going back and forth on my answer. A better term for your snarky reply would've been dodging. Now go read the Origin of Species lest you make a bigger fool of yourself.
klfly 9 months ago
@klfly i think you will find the only fool here is the one you see when you look in the mirror, that is not an answer, and you know it
joiganja 9 months ago
@joiganja No, it wasn't an answer. I already answered you in a different post and then posed a question to you. Are you dodging?
klfly 9 months ago
@joiganja When comes the part where you shut us up?
klfly 9 months ago
@klfly just did it
joiganja 9 months ago
@joiganja No, you didn't.
Have you actually read Darwin's Origin of Species?
klfly 9 months ago
@joiganja None of your questions have been at all challenging and until you take the time to actually try and understand what you're talking about I'm not going to bother with you any longer. Go read the book. Trying to discuss it with you is ridiculous otherwise.
klfly 9 months ago
@klfly don,t be like that.
joiganja 9 months ago
@joiganja Have you actually read Darwin's Origin of Species
klfly 9 months ago
@klfly of course, we had a whole term/symester on it at school, thats where i first started having doubts, you said yourself that you once thought the bible was right until you read the origins of the species, if you think its water tight then thats your choice, what if something else comes out in the future and it turns out we have all been lied to, i don,t deny i could be wrong but i need more than a book to convince me, lets agree to disagree klfly.
joiganja 9 months ago
@joiganja What is with this weird schizophrenic cycle? From "I'm gonna shut you up" to "let's agree to disagree." I never said I thought the bible was right until I read Origin of Species. Where did you get that?
I need more than a book also. I take what's written in the book and I observe the natural world, read about the huge breakthroughs in genetics, see the theory applied. If new information comes through that disproves it of course I'll adjust my beliefs. Not the case as of now.
klfly 9 months ago
@joiganja I don't believe you studied it. If you did, you're not a good student. Your questions were not the questions of someone who was actually familiar with the theory.
klfly 9 months ago
@klfly do you mean the questions you can,t answer,
joiganja 9 months ago
@joiganja good one
hibiscusfire 7 months ago
(continued from previous comment) So as more brainwashed idiots jump onto the anti Einstein bandwagon, people without a background in advanced math (which, I believe is the majority of people) are going to make more and more ridiculous criticisms of relativity. And the only way to address those criticisms would be in the language of rigorous advanced math, which most people don't understand and hence you'll see a widening of the gulf between the public and science.
sadathusain 9 months ago
You know, as a physics and math major I sometimes wonder: look at how the public fail to understand something as simple as the mechanisms of biological evolution. Now I'm seeing a lot of people voicing out their opinions against general relativity because according to them it promotes "moral relativism". And advanced physics can ONLY be described in terms of advanced math (tensors, differential geometry, multivariable calc., etc.).
sadathusain 9 months ago
I don't understand what stalin/hitler believing in evolution had anything to do with the theory. Eisenhower dropped the bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing lots of people. Does that mean we deny nuclear physics?
sadathusain 10 months ago
@sadathusain Well said.
klfly 10 months ago
the guy on the video is fighting with another guy who gving the comments about the video. haha hilarious. well bro we easily get insulted.. so dont try to insult poeple back.. it would be an endless bad vocals throw.
thinkmanworld 10 months ago
so you are saying that a man and a woman ( which were made perfect ) were created out of some sort of mutation? what kind of sick bastard are you? don't you care that you are actually insulting people?
plus, what i really don't understand is why people have to compare human with some sort of monkey... to me you guys look more like pigs and dogs mixed up... so you can believe what ever the fuck you want to, not everything that's written is true bro...
kiafar 10 months ago
@kiafar We're perfect? Wow. Don't know how I missed that one.
I don't believe because it's written, that would be the theists lot. I believe because there is evidence, more all the time. Interesting that as genetics has taken off the resultant species map is so close to Darwin's.
klfly 10 months ago
@kiafar You, by the way are exactly what this video is talking about. If you're going to try and refute a theory so universally respected by the scientific community wouldn't you want to do some studying and find out why exactly they find it so compelling?
klfly 10 months ago
kill yourself
mstrhuejax 10 months ago
@mstrhuejax Why? I'm not the one who can't form an argument to express his beliefs. If you want to participate in this discussion you'll have to do better than that.
klfly 10 months ago
@klfly idk i might be too baked but its not clear to me beliefs you have. are you making fun of people that dont believe in evolution? or do not believe in evolution? i believe in evolution. and i believe if you killed yourself it would do nothing more/less than end the branch of evolution that which is you.
mstrhuejax 10 months ago
@mstrhuejax Do you watch videos before you comment on them? I am addressing some of the more common and more absurd arguments of creationists. I do believe that Darwin's theory is right on and more supported with every new discovery in biology.
klfly 10 months ago
@klfly i guess i just dont like you haha oh well
mstrhuejax 10 months ago
@mstrhuejax You've made a fool of yourself from your first comment so it's quite a relief that you don't like me.
klfly 10 months ago
@klfly ok i admit that was harsh. im sorry. but you make evolutionist and the like look like assholes.
mstrhuejax 10 months ago
@mstrhuejax Right. You came here making abrasive comments without watching the video, or perhaps it was just without comprehending the video, your response to finding out you were wrong is more insults and I'm the asshole. Go away little one, grown ups are talking. I've wasted enough time on you.
klfly 10 months ago
@klfly i admitted that i was wrong for how i came off. i dont see how thats immature. but im still entitled to an opinion, which is that i think youre an asshole. just because you dont like what i think about you, you're asking me to go away and trying to make yourself look better than me by calling me little one, like im not an adult. also i dont think youre much different than the people who you claim are arrogant and conceited by the way you talk about evolution, and christians as well.

Just *one* good source? OK :- watch?v=a3O2Founays
By 'good' I'm assuming you mean 'unwilling to invoke immaterial causes' (which is a *philosophical* preference in the 1st place). Though if you're that committed to neo-darwinism (an accepted term btw), that all critics of it are automatically 'discredited', there's not much to say- unless you care to justify your bias- but even then, from experience I don't really expect you to respond in any meaningful way to any anwers I might give.
gerontodon 10 months ago
What I find most ironic is that people of Dawkinist sympathies ( ok I admit, *that's* not an official term), will without fail say that all teleological explanations result from an inability to think things through for oneself, but when arguments are made, they revert to an appeal to authority.- saying this and that has been 'discredited'. Tho prove me wrong, and say 1stly, why you think the blindwatchmaker can do everything Dawkins says, and 2ndly, why there can be no teleological explanations.
gerontodon 10 months ago
Isn´t it a bit dangerous to play with fanatics and looneys???? Be careful my brother. Some of these people hear god voices inside their heads. And, by the way, you are absolutely right about everything. PD: Read the latest Richard Dawkins Book. It is awesome. The greatest show on earth.
