we just did it in 7pulls, phase 3 was most important to kite fires and water them, if tanks(including ranged) understand what to do its pretty easy in ICC gear on tank.

once everyone knows what to do only tank rly needs healing. dps in icc gear got 3spare minutes.

i imagine 219ilvl gear would make this fight realy unforgiveable

This is pretty hard attempted to do this achievement with guild for the drake all icc10/25 geared and we wiped many times (the healing setup wasn't the best for this fight but still these guys were doing it in ulduar gear that proves skill>gear) ,overall hard fight harder than many icc encounters and one of the hardest in ulduar, hope to get it soon

This is one of the Blizzard's best moves - open the door to Algalon via Mimi hm, no scrub pug will ever do this because there is so much fire going on and people (in general) will never make it because they fail at Koralon fires ... it's sort of a Blizzard's award for exceptional players. Note how the commentator emphasises spatial awareness more than just high dps.

Indeed it was. Such a shame they didn't make Lich King HM attunement a challenge. Any random scrub can breeze through ICC HMs.

Ulduar for me is the greatest raid ever made. Very challenging HMs, awesome looking interior, badass looking gear, phenomenal boss fights. What more could you ask for?

The warrior dps was attacking on lootship Bronzebeard............ Then on Marrow the warrior stood infront of him, on Deathwhisper he wasnt attacking adds, so we gave him 1 try on Saurfang and he blew it.....he attacked and taunted adds He got booted so fast! But we still downed 7/12 somehow

@Tentacleed at the time of Ulduar's release, Koralon didn't exist. But as of ICC's release it is pugable. The idea behind the hard modes was to pose a higher level of challenge to raiding (i.e. the Heroic level raids of today.) However, your comment is based mainly on quick pugs for VoA that have new 80s, people that can't raid ICC and ToC 4 times a week and actually NEED the gear that drops from it, as opposed to super guilds that get 100 frost badges a week.

His epic hard hits are with Frost Strike. DW Frost dps spec. He gets his hits that high because they have Curse of Ele (well formerly CoE) Which helps scale the already retarded high damage Frost Strikes deal, part of which is frost.

You're wrong, the 13k crits are indeed from Frost Strike, but they are as u see from the blizzard dmg counter only counted as one hit, so it's actually pre-dw patch with a 2hander, and the crazy hits are from the then-OP sigil which buffed Frost Strike to oblivion!

You can still do fairly juicy dps as frost though. I pushed 5k on most of the more straightforward naxx fights (meaning the fights with no downtime and little movement. Like patchwerk for example) in ilvl200-213 gear. It's not that sick, but it's by no means low for my gear.

fights with lots of movement frost dks glyph HB so it applies diseases to your target and you still have plenty of time for(freezing fogg procs) OB OB OB + dumps. Unholy pres is considered better for frost as more runes= more RP= more FS, which is the majority of a frost dks dps.
